Hi All,
Is there methodology of BPM Development (DC) in three-level landscape (development,test,productive) ?
We have 3 CE(dce,tce,pce) and 3 Backend (dr,tr,pr).
We have BPM DC on dce with Web services on dr and dce (for start BPM with input parameters) throug Service Group.
we deploy WS for start bpm on tce. Create appropriate Service Group.
we transport backend developments on tr. new WSDl and endpoint url's for Web services
What kind of changes should we do in BPM DC ?
import inteface of Ws for start BPM.
WS for Start output mapping.
What to do with others Ws on tr?
It will be necessary to repeat mapping?

I am working with CE, BPM 7.2, I have been trying to integrate some external web services but I am having this error with 2 of the 3 web services:
Caused by: com.sap.engine.interfaces.sca.assembly.AssemblyException: Could not generate metadata for interface [http://www.osoa.org/xmlns/sca/1.0#WSDLPortType]{}
Caused by: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Schema is not closed, Type http://CCService#CreditReportResBO is unknown
Does anybody know how to fix it??

Is there a way to develop the same raw file multiple times, each time keeping the final product?

I've been working with my NEF raw files. When I import one into LR I can start developing it right away, which I've done. I also know that the modifications aren't made to the raw file but kept in an XMP file. Since the I'm not actually changing the raw file do you know if there is a way to make a secondary edit of the file?
Here's an example. Let's say I have a raw file and I want to develop it in color. Then when I'm all done I want to start over and develop it again and black and white but keep the color one as well.
I know I can undo all the edits I've made but then I lose all that work too.
Is there a way to develop an image twice and keep both final products? I know copying the raw file and renaming it is one crude way but I have to believe there's a better, easier way.

Yes, you can make a virtual copy at any time.
If you want the virtual copy to be un-edited after you have done some editing to the "non-virtual copy", you could open the "non-virtual copy" in the Develop Module, click on Reset, create the virtual copy, then undo the Reset operation (click on the last real edit in the History Panel)

I hope you may help me in one question.
We develop webservices for IBM WAS 6.0 (java 1.4.2) with connection to oracle 9i and WMQ 5.3CDS12.
But now we want to change the environment to IBM WAS 6.1 (including java 1.5.0).
Are there problems if we develop webservices with 1.4.2 but using java 1.5.0 on websphere?
Or should we use java 1.4.2 on websphere app server 6.1? I think WAS don't run under 1.4.2?!

You only need a new certificate when the old one expires. Changing JDKs has nothing to do with it.

Snippets is a good idea. But you can also do this with a template. Each time you use FILE | New > Page from Template, as you would to create a new child page, you have the option to enable or disable an option called "Update page when template changes". If that option is DISABLED (i.e., unchecked), then the child page will be created but with NO TEMPLATE MARKUP (i.e., no editable/non-editable regions)! Seems that's exactly what you want, no?

Developing Web Services: Three Easy Steps tutorial error

I'm following the tutorial Developing Web Services: Three Easy Steps, the first lab. I created the GetDates POJO, no problems. Then I went on to step 4 and am creating the WS for the java class. I get to step 5 where I've gone through the wizard for the web service and at step 5 in the wizard the tutorial says to click finish. When I click finish I get a popup saying
Validation Error
Files at the following URLs cannot be modified:
file:/C:/jdevhome/jdev/.....GetDates/public_html/WEB-INF/webservices.xml
and the same path but oracle-webservices.xml
Anyone else experience this when going through the tutorial? I'm not sure where the tutorial is on OTN or if it's on OTN yet. It's a tutorial I did in a session at OpenWorld and now i'm going through it locally now that we have the latest SOA suite installed.
Any thoughts?

Just checked and it's not running. It's preventing the web service from being created, none of the directories are getting created since it's erroring.
I tried closing out and opening JDev up again and it's my C drive so I don't have anything set to read only.

Is there or can Microsoft develop a app for smart TVs so you can stream from Windows Media Center

I have used Windows Media Center for years to record TV programs and have even sertup my kids Xbox 360 as an extender. I've recently purchased a smart TV which allows me to steam music and home videoes from Windows media player but ofcourse the .wtv
files will not play. Would it be possible to develop an app for Smart TVs and other devices so they can be used as extenders. I'm sure many people would be willing to pay for the app. I've tried some 3rd party extenders and not been
happy with there performance and I'd like to not need another box and remote. I'm sure these new TVs have the ability to do it will microsoft allow them too?
