Is there new "Complete ADF UIX Application" for 10G Production?

Is there a new version the tutorial "Complete ADF UIX Application (Browse, Create, Update, Delete)".
The one I found

is for 10G preview.
Or is this version still current enough for production?

Have a look at the JDeveloper online help (F1) there is a complete chapter about deploying:

Basically you need to deploy the ADF runtime libraries (use the ADF Runtime Installer), and then deploy your WAR.

Deploy adf uix application to tomcat 4.1.29

Hi,
I test this interessant tutorial at http://otn.oracle.com/products/jdev/collateral/tutorials/9050/adfuix_tut.html.
I can run application in jdev10g.
I try to deploy this application in tomcat 4.1.29.
But when I try to display the first page (uix with no access database, only a sample page with welcome), I obtain this error: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/servlet/jsp/el/ELException
I install all the libraries ADF and UIX (with jdev tools) on tomcat.
Can anyone help me?

We should have this working for 10g Production.
In the meantime, try Tomcat 5.0.16 instead.

After trying the solver I think you get a similar result in Numbers using a slider-- the bonus I think it is easier.
Here's an example:
In electrical engineering two resistors in parallel create an equivalent resistance as:
Re = 1 / [ (1/R1) +(1/R2) ]:
Here I set up a "solver":
B4=1/((1/B2)+(1/B3))
Then I preset R1 and R2 to 10000 (below) and formatted R2 as a slider with a range from 1 to 100000:
Then you can slide the control left and right to "Sweep" R2 until you get the Req you want. In my example I was trying to get Req = 8000

Can I use TNSI Payment gateway in iOS application for making product purchases of Pizza for one of our major client.

We are making an application for one of our client for Pizza and food product purchased and advertisements. We are trying to implement a payment gateway so users can make purchases using their credit cards. Our client have used TNSI payment gateway on website however we are not sure whether we can use the same TNSI payment service in iOS Application.
Would you please confirm with us whether apple have an approval for using this Gateway service inside the app. Please let us know ASAP so we can make the integration for completing the app.
Also it would be real great if we are suggested some approved and valid payment gateways apple have approved for the apps submitted over appstore as this would help us to use the same services firmly wihtout the appstore rejection issue.

What is the appstore rejection issue? It is best not to pay too much attention to what you read on internet media outlets as they are typically full of lies.
Food is the easy part. You cannot use Apple's payment systems for physical products. You must do that yourself using whatever system you have. Advertising is trickier. You talked about pizza and food and then slipped in that little tidbit. Why?
The bottom line is that the only people who get their apps rejected are people trying to scam either Apple or Apple's users. Sadly, not enough of them get rejected. You know if you are trying to scam someone or not. If so, then your chances of rejection are higher. When in doubt, consult Apple's In-App Purchase guidelines.

Completing the same form for additional products

We are collecting data from manufacturers as to the products being displayed on their exhibition stands. In order for the data to be collected for each product, so it is listed on a seperate line in an excel spreadsheet I have put together the questions for each product on one form. The manufacturer then needs to complete the form for each product displayed, which could be 30 - 40 items. Is there a way to ask them if they wish to enter another product and if they answer yes they are given the form again to complete but without having to add their company and email address again? In effect I want the company and email address to appear automatically on all forms completed after their initial entry or any additional forms after their first entry to link to the first one so we know who it has come from and the entries are linked when exporting to excel. I also have the same issue with another form where we are asking delegates to book to attend an event and the same person is booking for 4 or 5 different delegates from the same company. It would be easier if they did not have to re-enter their company details each time.

Forms cannot be "connected", data cannot be filled in from another form. You can build a more complex product ordering form with "Show/Hide" logic that will show another set of form fields based on a response, but data is not populated from one field to another or one form to another.

Is there a Physical or online manual for CC products?

So I am used to reading a physical manual to learn the different Abode applications, but now that CC is here, features are added regularly.
My question is if I want to learn all of the features and functions, just like I was reading from a manual, where would I go to start reading?
Not looking for a tutorial on how to do this or that, just somewhere where I can learn all the features and functions.

My 'problem' with the current range is that the memory is no longer upgradable.... (What you buy initially is what you get) and i7 Quad Cores are no longer available for the MMs.. just Dual Cores....
This is why earlier MM models via the Apple Refurb store, have been is such short supply because they sell out within an hour or so of becoming available!

Note: Apple refurbs are excellent value for money as they come with the same warranties as new models... plus you can purchase the extended Applecare as you can for new models... but typically sell for 15-45% less. Example: In 2012 I bought a 27" 2011 iMac 3.4Ghz 16GB AMD 2GB 1TB plus 3 years of Applecare for 40% less than the then current new cost.... Great deal indeed!

ADF UIX doSelect override with PL/SQL fails to allow insert

I've been trying to create an ADF-UIX web app for simple insert/update/delete of records to a table.
The schema simply has 2 tables - master and detail where the detail pk is made up of the master id and a start date:

ADF UIX with ADF Binding without Struts

After trying the CRUD tutorial from the "Complete ADF UIX Application (Browse, Create, Update, Delete)" -(http://otn.oracle.com/products/jdev/collateral/tutorials/9050/adfuix_tut.html), I found it may be thousands of struts actions in my upcoming project.
It will be difficult to merge and sync my team members works and the usefulness of StrutsPageFlow diagram will decrease severely although it is very convenient to drag data control operations to struts data actions without coding.
I am trying to use ADF Controller event handler as my page flow engine to eliminate these drawbacks.
When I use ADF controller as my page flow engine, if I have to pass ui model reference, initialize binding container, get binding container, get application module and refresh binding container, ... manually in my event handler codes just like the BasicDataAction class does in "ADF data binding primer (http://www.geocities.com/smuench/adfprimer/)"?
Is there any document that cover this information or any suggestions?

else.I'm not sure about the tree component - I'll try to find out whether that is/will be supported. Once your data controls are available in the Data Control Palette, you can bind them to components in your UIX page by:
1. Selecting the data control that you want to bind.
2. Selecting a component type from the "Drop As" choice.
3. Dragging the data control onto the UIX page.
This process is illustrated in the tutorial above.

Create ADF applications for GlassFish runtime not possible?

I am running Eclipse with OEPE 12.1.1.2 and want to build an ADF Essentials application for GlassFish.
I have GlassFish installed into Eclipse (GlassFish Server Open Source Edition 3 (Java EE 6)) and running.
I have installed ADF Essentials as instructed in FMW Admin Guide 11.1.2.3 appendix C (copied jars to lib directory of domain, set JVM parameters).
Now when I try to create an ADF Application in Eclipse, I cannot create a GlassFish target runtime. The only options I see are WebLogic 10.3.4, 10.3.5 and 10.3.6.
The "Download additional server adapters" link doesn't give me any GlassFish options.
How do I set up a GlassFish ADF Essentials runtime environment in Eclipse? Any pointers appreciated.

The version of OEPE you are using supports ADF 11g applications that can be deplyed to Weblogic Server. It doesn't support deployment of ADF applications to GlassFish and also doen't support the ADF Essentials version of ADF. These are planned for an upcoming release of OEPE.
Is the ADF application you would like to build/deploy a pure ADF Faces application or does it include ADF TaskFlow, ADF DataControls and ADF Binding?
