Is there no help out there?
I purchased an Iphone 5, to use with the prepaid plan. Activated the phone on last Tuesday, and was told by customer service to wait to port my old # as they were going through system updates. I waited another day to port, and number ported quickly. Since then I have not been able to use my phone. I have spent 2 to 2 1/2 hrs a day on the phone with Verizon, made 2- 25( one way) mile trips to Verizon store,, with no answers other than they cannot activate my phone. This is the craziest thing I've ever experienced. I invested $400 on the phone, purchased a monthly plan for $45. and sit here trapped, not able to make one call or text. 5 days have gone by with no resolve. I am flabbergasted that the largest cell phone carrier cannot do better than this. I now have to go buy a sim card for my old phone (AT&T) have my # ported back to them, kiss my $45. good bye, but at least I will have a phone I can use. So much for service. Never, never went through anything like this with AT & T. Says alot....
Is it on one of these providers?

Creating a Purchase Order, is there any help out there?
I am creating a purchase order for our sales team that can be utilized on iOS. I have two issues:
1) Some of our sales will be exempt and will need to be toggled off. How do you go about doing this while not destroying the end total?
2) Our sales tax varies due to county's jurisdiction. Is there a way to change that once the form is ready to be filled out?

Maybe add another column with check-boxes for the exempt status. However,
implementing this in the calculation will require a custom-made script.
As for the sales tax, you can place that in a text field as well and use it
in your calculation directly. It's even possible to set it up so that a
selection in a county drop-down will automatically populate the Sales Tax
field with the correct value. -

i keep getting asked to download an update and when I hit the tab it continualy is "trying to access the site" yet it never happens. Also when I have upgraded and need to move 1 image inside the other to load it, that set of images never vanishes......way too complicated unless s0meone can tell me how to fix it. This is why it has always been just a "backup" browser for me

I downloaded and paid for iPohto 9-4-2 and lost a good number of pictures doing so.
When scrolling my files of pictures, many will disappear from sight to be replaced by an exclamation mark.
This is most frustrating. Even when the pictures are backed up and re-installed the same will happen. It seems to be totally at random.
Frank S.the ! indicaes that iPhoto has lost the connection to the original photo - if you have not deleted the original then Back up your iPhoto library, Depress and hold the option (alt) and command keys and launch iPhoto - rebuild your iPhoto library database

I'm trying to create a new movie. It tells me to name my movie, and the only event choice in the drop down menu is the last movie I made. IMovie Library is greyed out. I'm lost and I'm just starting. Not sure I like the new version. Any help out there?

If you want help you’ll need to give us more information. There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 8 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have. -

The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to 3 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?
