Is there NO way to select multiple songs to go into a Music Playlist at once, vs doing it one by one?!

Argh. So irritating how something that should be very simple and intuitive results in useless calls to Sprint (my carrier) and BB. with endless holds, transfers, pasing the buck,and still no results. Then I'm suggested to go to the Forums...you know...where other paying BB customers can try tp provide the IT support that BB apparetnly could care less to do for its paying customers?
Anyway, I want to have multiple playlists in my BB Music so that when I host parties, I can play a particular type of music by selecting one of the playlists. I was able to move songs to my BB but they only seem to move to the general Music Library (All Songs). I was able to create Playlists, but it seems you can only move songs to the Playlist ONE AT A TIME. There is apparently no way to select multiple songs to go to a playlist? No way to move an entire folder of music from my PC to my BB songs, as its own separate sub-folder (i.e., Playlist)?
I know I've been able to do this with other devices in the past.
Otherwise the BB Music Playlist options seems totally pointless.

You can try to delete the files extensions.* (e.g. extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini, extensions.cache) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox profile folder to reset the extensions registry.

New files will be created when required.
If you see disabled, not compatible, extensions in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the Tools button at the left side of the Search Bar (or click the "Find Updates" button in older Firefox versions) to check if there is a compatibility update available.

Welcome to the world of digital media. Your can't really transfer it. I don't know what the rules are about transferring to your spouse but I do know that in some cases when you die, your heirs cannot inherit your digital media. This is why there is still an advantage to buying the CD since the usage rights belong to whomever holds the physical media.
A possible workaround is to burn the songs to a music CD with yout account (tracks only without song titles) and then having your wife upload it as a regular music CD onto her account. It's been a while since i've done this so I'm not sure if it would work now.
Please note that I'm not advocating copyright and/or TOS violations. I'm only suggesting ways to copy music for your own personal use which has traditonally been permitted. I only did this because I wanted to convert iTunes songs to mp3 files so I could burn them onto a data CD for use in my car. It would make sense that since married couples are a joint entity, this would be personal use.
Also, I'm not a lawyer so don't take this as legal advice.

You could use Automator to do this - take a look at the article at http://www.wikihow.com/Batch-Rename-Files-in-Mac-OS-X-Using-Automator to see how this might be done.

To select consecutive images click and drag the cursor over multiple thumbnails to select all at once.
To select multiple images that are randomly located hold down the Command(⌘) key and click on those images you want to select.
Or to select consecutive images from a list of images that are together hold down the Shift key and and click on the first photo you want to select and the on the last photo you want in the list.

Is there a way to download whole albums with full size photos from picasa to iPhoto without doing it one by one?

A number of people have sent me albums of photos in picasa. There doesn't seem to be a way to import the entire album into iphoto other than doing each photo one by one. Also, when I do each photo, it doesn't appear that I can copy it into a full size photo.
These are all albums with hundreds of photos. I think in the old iphoto you could subscribe to an RSS feed to get the whole album into iphoto but I am not sure you can do this anymore. Can you?
And if not, is there a way to copy whole albums in? It would be so time consuming to do them one by one!

You need to
1. Download the images to a folder on the desktop.
It may be possible to download an entire album at a time, but that's a question for a Picasa forum
2. Then import the folder to iPhoto.

You should definitely be able to upload multiple files by Shift-clicking or Ctrl-clicking the files you want to upload. Just to make sure you don't have an old version of the service cached, please clear the browser cache and then log in to https://cloud.acrobat.com/files. After clicking the File Upload icon in the upper-right corner, you should be able so select multiple files for upload.

Is there a way to select multiple track sections from different tracks and join them to make the chorus on iPhone?

I am currently using the iPhone to record my vocals on top of professional beats, or riddims as they are called in the dancehall world. Is there a way for me to select multipe voice sections from different tracks, copy them and then paste them later in the project. I don't want to record the chorus more than once. Normally what I do is sync the project to my wife MacBook Air and then from there edit it but I would like to avoid this. Also, I use the earpods microphone to record my voice and of course it doesn't come out professional quality but it is decent. Do you recommend a microphone that plugs to the iPhone or should I get an interface? Thanks for the help.

You can either copy and paste single regions or duplicate sections, if you want to copy regions
from different tracks in parallel.

Adjust the length of your sections in a way, that the regions you want to copy from different tracks are together in a section of your song.
Add a copy of a section:
Open the song section controls, choose the section you want to copy, then tap Duplicate.The copy is added after the last section.
Tap Done to close the song section controls.
After copying the section, move the new section to the end of the song:
Change the order of sections:
Open the song section controls, then tap Edit.
Drag a section up or down in the list by the handle on its right edge.
When you are finished, tap Done.
Tap Done to close the song section controls.

Is there a way to select multiple clips in FCP 7 and make all of them stereo pair at the same time?

I know,.... I'm still using FCP 7, but since there are no forums for this aaplication anymore, I figured I ask it here.
I want to select multiple clips on the timeline and make them all stereo pair. I pressed "Option L", but that does not work. Is there a way to do this?

If you are in Windows, you can try this...
Close iTunes.
Go to the folder that contains your music. Select TOOLS then FOLDER OPTIONS from the menu at the top. Pick the VIEW tab. Change the appropriate opttion to "SHOW HIDDEN FILES". Click apply and close...
Now scroll down through your music and you should see files named "Album Art.....". Drag all of them to the trash or some other folder. If you are not sure about all this, just don't empty the trash.
When you run iTunes again, it should not be able to find the artwork. I'm not sure what you would do next but this gives you a start!

Is there a way to select multiple sequences and batch export them using the same settings in CS6?

I am a current Final Cut Pro7 user and looking to switch over to Premiere Pro CS6. We edit approx. 100 short (15 sec.) videos daily, and then select them all at the end of the day and batch export them over night using the same export recipe for all. I have having trouble finding an easy way to do this in Premiere pro CS6, as command +E is grayed out if i select more than one sequence at a time.
so far, it appears that i have to select each video individually and manually set encoding recipe and export location for each.... Not only would this be terribly time consuming, but it leaves a lot of room for error and missed videos. I thought i would be able to send all of the sequences to Adobe Media Encoder, but i dont see that option either.

Open Media Encoder and add your Sequences:
File > Add Premiere Pro Sequence
Navigate to your Premiere Project and select it in the list.
You can then select multiple Sequences from the Project (Ctrl+Click)
and load them all at once into Media Encoder and apply
the same encoding preset to all Sequences at the same time.

HT5517 Is there a way to select multiple speakers from my ATV3?

I have ATV3, an iPad2, a Sony Vaio laptop and another audio system connected to my WiFi network via an Airport Express.
Via ATV I can only select one speaker / output at a time (i.e. EITHER Airport Express OR ATV). When I have a party in the house (for example) I'd like to be able to select both to play the same music.
I know you I can select multiple speakers if I fire up the laptop and run iTunes (I then actually use the "Remote" app on the iPad, select my music library as the source and I can select mulitple speakers) but it doesn't seem possible with just ATV. Why not? I can see both outputs on ATV, I just want the option to be able to select both.
If my wife takes the laptop with her somewhere, I can't listen to my music throughout the whole house.
Seems a pretty big oversight - surely it'd be dead easy for Apple to do?

I beleive multi speaker output is strictly a function of iTunes. ATV1 was the hobby or beta environment and was a mix of OSX 10.4 (iTunes) and their developement of iOS. The multi speaker out was not a part of the further or current developement of iOS.
Still have an original atv out in the studio serving up music to the rest of the house... including the new appleTV2 in the living room

I selected multiple tracks, pressed "option L" but was not able to make multiple clips stereo pair at the same time.

If I remember correctly it is not possible modify a group of selected clips on the timeline with the Stereo Pair command - unless all the selected clips have exactly the same properties - such as being linked to video clips, etc. So you have to manually go through and select the dual mono tracks you want to pair individually or in smaller groups to be able to apply the Stereo Pair command.
If you select a bunch (a couple) of clips, and go to the menu Modify, you will see if Stereo Pair is grayed out or not. If it is grayed out, then you can't apply it to those clips as a group, but you probably will be able to apply it if you make smaller selections of clips.

I would like to prevent the same song from ending up in two different playlists that i create without having to to a physical check of other playlists.

There isn't a mechanism to do what you want.
One way to approach it would be to put all the playlists that you want to be mutually exclusive into a playlist folder, let's call it Exclusive, and create a smart playlist matching all the rules Playlist is Music, and Playlist is not Exclusive. Call this playlist Selection, for example. When you want to add content to one of the Exclusive playlists add it from Selection and you won't add the same track twice. It requires a little discipline but is probably the best that can be achieved with the tools hand.

Selecting iTunes "Song" to put into a Music Library on PC

I may be wrong but I thought if I bought iTunes music I would be able to use it on my PC computer, specifically, at the moment, in a photo album program that plays music along with slideshows. When browsing to the iTunes selection I want, it's impossible to select the file and pop it into the Music Library for the Photo Album program. Am I wrong in thinking I could use iTunes music selections I've bought in this way???? Thanks for any help or advice!

Aha, thanks for the information -- this is a whole new world to me and I don't have an iPod or many of the other devices, just trying to catch up!! :>) I hadn't realized I couldn't use the downloads except on an iPod or just to play from the desktop, which I guess is about it.
