Is there program for precise measuring of web traffic in/out my Mac?

Some ISPs have their proprietary web traffic/usage indicators but they are crude, of no use for precise measurements.
Widgets are of no hellp either.
Is there a program which can display the internet traffic in/out of a computer at any given moment and display it instantly ?
Ideally , able to display live (or by manual update) what the traffic is to/from websites visited , email in/out data flow and creating a log, so I can have a record what exactly the web usage is, for example, for last 1 hour/ 1day/1 week.
Is there such a program?

I've been using SurplusMeter waiting for AT&T U-verse to get their usage meter going (3 months of waiting) due to the caps they (supposedly) imposed on May 2, 2011. They still haven't gotten their meter working and it's not clear the caps are being imposed (250 GB/month). But I wanted to get a idea of how much I was using so I decided on SurplusMeter.
SurplusMeter has a number of nice features. But without any other measurement tool to cooralate it with I have no idea how accurate it is. One thing I do know howerver is that in the case of U-verse, where all traffic goes through a U-verse provided router (they call it the "resident gateway") I can only measue the traffic in and out of my computer, not in and out of the router (no, there no separate info in the router to give me this info or I wouldn't have needed SurplusMeter).
FWIW, there are other utilities that can give you some of this info or present it in different ways. Here's a few others I looked at before choosing SurplusMeter:

you can also just encode to H.264 with the proper audio settings, and change the extension to .flv. Flash video players from version 9 up (if there is an up...) handle H.264 and AAC audio.

Muse, is there code for different devices in web page?

When designing in muse, can you build desktop, tablet and phone all together with one website? Make where people who have phones goes to the phone site and people with tablets go to the tablet site. Desktop users go to desktop. If this is possible is there any code I need to put in my web pages for visitors to go that have different devices? If so please tell me where I can find it. Thanks!

Is there support for syncing Android phone contact lists, calendar etc with Mac Mail?

HI, I have a Sony Z2 and I need to sync calendar, activity and contact data with with Mavericks Mail, can you suggest how this could be done? I have looked and there are a couple of utilities (including SyncMate ?) some of which have mixed reviews. I have seen you can use a gmail account but as I have more than one at the moment I want to avoid adding another one if this if possible.

I am a very happy T-Mobile subscriber, but T-Mobile offers virtually no handsets compatible with iSync. You would be far better off examining one or more of these handsets or smartphones available from Cingular:

It seems likely that both Cingular and T-Mobile will offer the next-generation Palm Treo 700p when a GSM version is available. The only such units available now are both CDMA smartphones - one intended for use on the Sprint network, the other on the Verizon network.
You can also use a Windows Mobile device, though a release version of a third party package required to support it with iSync is not currently available. Lawson program for scheduling through my work isn't compatible with Macs, is this fixable on my end?

Is there someway I can make my MAC compatible with an inferior program like lawson? My work place decided to go with a program that is not "compatible" with MACS. 75% of the people habe MACS and are struggling to schedule. This making life harder...HELP!

I know there is a way to add a user to a paid membership subcription using the web form. There is a video on BCGuru that shows how to do it. Is there also a way to use web form for the user to terminate his paid membership? Or does it always have to be done manually by the Admin?

Is there a Replacement Program for 2009 iMacs with MXM Graphics Cards?

I have an iMac 24" Early 2009 with the Nvidia GeForce GT 120 256MB MXM graphics card that is freezing and crashing over-and-over, especially when I'm away and it's not connected to my 2nd display! Odd. I've done the usual (cleaned the iMac inside, run fsck, SMC reset, PRAM reset, repair permissions from boot USB, disconnected all peripherals, changed mice and keyboards, changed the HD, reinstalled the OS, run Onyx and so on) and finally decided that it's a faulty graphics card that only a replacement will fix. When I'm home it's more stable when connected via a Displayport DVI adapter to DVI cable to a 24" Dell display. When standalone (like when traveling with my iMac for long stints out of town) it's unusable. It won't run for longer than 30 minutes, often not even 10 minutes, then I get screen artifacts and freezes and then have to fsck to repair the drive before running it again. Only running it in Safe Mode will allow it to run reliably.
However, I believe that I found a stopgap solution. I installed a program which I downloaded after installing XCode called Quartz Debug which has apparently allowed me to disable Quartz Extreme, 2D Acceleration and Quartz GL.
Turning off all Quartz graphics enhancements makes this machine stable if not exactly completely "mac-like" in its performance, but it's at least usable under most conditions for long periods of time. I know of people who have replaced the MXM graphics card on this machine with good effect, but it's an expensive proposition and these cards are apparently few and far between. Has anyone done this?
Based on the large number of nearly identical complaints about this model, both here and elsewhere, it seems like this MXM graphics card is defective or Apple's drivers are defective . . . well maybe, but it very, very predictably crashes when the computer gets hotter and not even _extremely_ hot, but well within what would be normal operating temps for other machines.
I've disassembled and completely cleaned the inside and have replaced the HD with an SSD and removed the optical drive entirely so if anything I've reduced heat-producing devices from the interior of the device installed a fan control and keep the graphics card features mostly turned off.
I've looked for but have yet to see a recall or warranty replacement program for this device and no, I don't have Applecare. I've owned several Apple products in the last two decades and with the issues with Apple products in recent years, it seems like Applecare must be figured as part of any Apple purchase if reliability and ongoing support is desired.
Ironically, I have an Apple IIc and a Power Computing Power Tower 166 that still work just fine, thank you!

This cropped up on my wife's late 2009 model 27" iMac, too. Random freezes were encountered, unable to identify cause for months, then one day it started to become unable to complete a normal boot. Tech Tool Deluxe was the only direct indication as far as diagnostics are concerned. I've NEVER been abvle to get Apple's hardware diagnostic to run from the cloud, and we fianlly got it on a Techs' bench, AHT showed nothing wrong. As you said, Safe boot is the only way to get into the system, and performance under 10.8.5 is glacial.
Now the kicker - we DID have AppleCare, and this phase of the MXM graphics demise hit within 4 or 5 months of AppleCare expiration. There's no longer a flat-rate repair option, Apple doesn't have any stock of the video board to sell as a replacement part (was $169, or $179 w/no exchange) and even refurbs of this paltry (512MB VRAM) board can hit $300. I know Mac users have become 2nd-class citizens in Apple's business universe, but we're now looking at sub-42 month lifespans for hardware? At $2k for a machine that lacks touchscreen option, that's out of line.

It is not like the old days where you build a site in Front Page and you assume it will only be seen on a desktop computer. If you build it yourself with a web page program, do you have the knowledge to make a site that works on all of the different web browsers and mobile devices, and is friendly to search engines and social media? If you don't have those skills, working with a website company can be a lot better, faster, and more reliable than trying to hammer all of that out yourself using code in some app.

That is a very good warning provided by the Download Statusbar extension. Something like that should been built into Firefox. I filed this Bug report a couple of years ago, about the lack of a warning like that.

You might want to ask the developer of the Download Statusbar extension about it. He might know which AV programs are compatible with the Windows API that Firefox uses for the download scan.

I believe that Apple will take them for you, but there are a number of other places that will recycle batteries no matter the source. Staples, for example... I just recently took them a box of 4 laptop computers, with batteries, one of them a smashed-up MacBook Pro (), and it was very easy. They recycle not just the batteries but the whole computer too. Call around to local office supply businesses and see who will take them.
