Is there's a way (command, function...) to get the Region Source of a Page???? I woud like to assign a variable a query (but the query of the Region Source).

have a look at the APEX dictionary views. The one you are looking for is APEX_APPLICATION_PAGE_REGIONS.
In the Builder you can find all of them at "Application Builder" -> Tasks (Sidebar) -> Application Express Views.

It is usually impossible to get the MAC address of the maker of a HTTP request in any programming language or system.
At best, you can get the MAC of the closest intervening router, firewall, whatever.
Are you sure you mean the MAC address? MAC looks like this: 8:ab:f0:0:71:bb:90 (Ethernet), or 01-23-45-67-89-ab (Token Ring), etc, depending on your network type.
In contrast, an IP address looks like this: 209.249.116.195. If you want the IP address, check out the javadoc for HttpServletRequest and ServletRequest. Caveat: load balancers, web caches, proxy servers, etc will mask the "true" peer's address. Don't do anything silly like try to use the IP address for security or authentication.

Yes I did. It didn't seem to work when just extracted into my home directory. After looking at the two wrapper scripts (firefox and run-mozilla.sh) it looked like it needed to be in /usr/local/lib/firefox-3.6.23 which I did and which works. The problem is that the Help menu is the one for 3.5.9 (including Help > About Firefox says version 3.5.9). Even if I rename the two wrapper scripts and the executable for 3.5.9 I still get the 3.5.9 Help menu. FWIW, my 3.5.9 was packaged in FC11 and the 3.5.9 firefox script is in /usr/bin.
I'm sure I'm just overlooking something obvious but here is some debugging output:

What you are hearing is correct. There is currently no Mac app for iBooks, so no way to get them on the Mac.
You can use many of the other e-reader apps like Kindle on all of your devices and your Mac.

Missing Photographs - 5,000 in total - is there a programmatic way to get the complete file paths missing?

I accidentally moved linked files over the past few years, and just discovered (via "Missing Photos" view) that I have 5,000 missing photos.
I know the master photos are on my hard disk drive ... so, that is the good news.
BUT I do not want to have to click to re-link all 5,000 missing photos one at a time.
Is there a way to programmatically get the list of file paths of those 5,000 missing photos on my MacOSX system -- so that I can write an AppleScript to extract the unique image file name from the full file path extracted from LightRoom, locate the image in Finder, and move it back to the expected file path where Lightroom expects to find it?

If most of your reorganization consisted of moving whole folders rather than individual pics, you can quickly relink entire folders, or even folders of folders, rather than individual pics. In the Folders pane on the left, right-click the missing folder and select Find Missing Folder.
If you moved individual files rather than entire folders, then to get a list of the file paths of all the missing files, first do Library > Find All Missing Photos. Then use the ListView plugin to get a list of the photos' file paths into a text file.

There is a way to get the color information faster than double clicking the color box?

When I need to know, for example, the hexadecimal value of a color I need to double click in the color box in the tools palette. Okay, it's not a that hard but sometimes when I'm using the gradient tools I want to do something like hover the mouse pointer over my color I get some instant information somewhere. Try the info palette (click on arrows left of Info to expand). You will just need to click once to select target item, but will not have to constantly open and close the color picker window. Pretty much same solution as expanded color palette, but you can see stroke and fill together.

What is the best way to get the UID of any selected page item (frames, rectangle etc)?

I need UID of any selected item on page and also array of UID's in case multiple selection happens. How can I achieve it?
One way I know is to write an observer and attach it on every new page Item created, but that way the system might become slow and also
the behavior will be unpredictable in case of multiple selections.
Can some one suggest a better way to do it?

The selection subsystem hides most ideas of direct adressing (e.g. UID of page item(s) or story) into the concrete selection, while from the outside you only work on the suite interfaces of the abstract selection. So you don't ask whether the selection is some kind of page item and you don't peek at the actual items. Instead you ask about their capabilities and applied values.
Attaching observers to page items has nothing to do with the selection, because they only notify about changes on those page items - which could also be caused by scripts or anything else. Even then, the most relevant changes go thru the kDocBoss as single point to attach an observer, rather than thru all those page items.
Regarding speed - the selection has many optimizations, for example "lazy" notifications can be deferred until they become appropriate for an UI update, they might even become aggregated / optimized away.
One starting point into the selection when you come from nowhere would be ISelectionUtils. Your selection observer might also pass interesting parameters.

I am trying to get the text written into the text box in the AWTFrame.
I have tried the following:
