Is there setting to keep dock in backround?

My dock is blocking my icons. Isn't there a setting to keep it seperate instead of allowing it to overlay icons?
I still want my dock visible, I just don't want it blocking my icons whener I clean up my desktop.

The Dock has its own System Preference Pane. Open it and take a look at the options.
I "hide" my Dock. Nothing shows until I move my mouse over its location.

This has to do with the Time Zone Support selected in your phone. If you check in Settings>Mail, Contact, Calendars, there is a setting for Time Zone Support at the bottom of the page under Calendars. If that is turned to off, the calendar should support the local time. Because time is set to Automatic (since you say the time is correct on the iPhone), it is reflecting the local time. That information comes from the carrier, not the iPhone itself. You can check, however the iPhone says that if you turn off the Time Zone support, it should reflect in the local time. Do a test, if possible, and see if that will do what you are asking.

Hi. I recently discovered my iMac not shutting down and stalls. Everything seems to disappear except my wallpaper. If I Then go to setting on my Dock the apple sign at the top appears for me to shutdown the second time. I asked one technician’s what might be the problem. He said that maybe it is Flash Player that runs in the background and avoid the computer to shutdown. I uninstalled Flash Player and the problem was fixed. Now I can’t watch any YouTube videos. Is there something else I can do to use Flash Player again to avoid the shutdown problem?

Be advised though that Flash is used for other web stuff too.

You should take it to an Apple store or an AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) Carefully inspect the hinge joint and make sure there is no debris that you can see, you can try carefully sliding some sticky tape thru the joint to clear any loose stuff out. But this sounds like there might be more going on here, and the hinge is something that you do not want to fool with.

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
* Use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.

Is there anyway to keep the Lightning charger from breaking?

Is there anyway to keep the Lightning charger from breaking? I've gone through 8 of these in less than 5 months. When I take it apart it looks like where the wires are connected to the actual lightning plug it is a very flimsy soldering job. It looks like it was made by people who were told don't waste your time. We want them to buy lots.

Haven't had any problems with my lightning charger nor do I know of anyone else who has.
Are you pulling the connector out by the cord?

Is there a way to dock the object toolbar to the top menu bar?

I am trying to get as much screen real estate as I can. Is there a way to dock the object toolbar to the top dock areabar? Ideally i would like to place it under the main options bar.
I have tried everything I can think of to do this. It seems like I am missing something easy to make this happen.
Along the same lines it would be great if you could place the timeline across the entire bottom of the Captivate window with any of your other docks above it. I don't need that much room for the other dock, but a wider timeline bar would be fantabulous. Docking the timweline to the top would work as well.

Do you want the workspace to look in this way? :
You just need to drag the object toolbar, towards right and move that near to the toolbar.
Same goes for Timeline and other Pods.
I used classic workspace and just dragged and moved the pods to the desired positions, you can save that workspace after making changes.

Turned out that I had to delete the password first before I could change it.
That's the first time I ever had to do that.
In the past it would just accept the password that I entered when asked for it.

Anyone know whether there is a way to adjust playback volume when making a mixed playlist? Very annoying to have to always turn the volume up and down when listening.

iTunes has this feature called Sound Check. It basically puts all the music in similar volume so everything will have the same loudness. Go to iTunes>Preferences>Playback. Check "Sound Check."

Just curious about that how the custom CSS code works in your environment if put it in the “LstSetng.aspx” page.
In my environment, it hides the "Keep the following number of major versions" setting in the “LstSetng.aspx”
page after applying the custom CSS style there.
