is there a downgrade that works for the iphone 4s from ios 6 to 5.1.1

I'm sorry, but Apple does not provide a downgrade path for iOS. Because downgrading is unsupported by Apple we cannot discuss it on these forums, but you can use Google to find information on how to install an older version of iOS on any iDevice.

  • Is there a Battery Doctor that works for iPad2?

I've tried two different "Battery Doctor" apps for my iPad 2 (iOS 6.1.3).  One free app from Chine (web site is in Chinese, so I can't read it for support), one from RTF Technologies ($3.00).   The problem is that neither one will register that a full charge cycle has occurred on my iPad2.  I've done it by the book numerous times (power down to <15%, plug in with the 'Doc' running).  All it registers is that I performed a "Normal" charge.  Is this a problem with the iPad2, or is there a reliable Battery Doctor out there someone can clue me int to?
The Chinese Battery Doctor does work on my iPhone 5, if that helps.
    Mike

I searched in iTunes Store for iPad apps with "battery" in the search and these were two of many.  So now I'm wondering if anyone out there has a battery doctor that works well (completely) for iPad 2, in that it registers every full charge you perform.

  • Any video stabilizer plugin out there that works for PPCS5 yet?

    Hello,
Mercalli and newbluefx don't have any plugins for CS5 yet.
Any other good video stabilizer plugins available yet for CS5?
Yes, I know it just came out but I am impatient.
    Simon

    LOL!
I like working in PP for things like video stabilizing without having to import an AE composition. But yes AE is an option.
I tried the BCC 7 optical stabilizer. Looks nice but was not too impressed with the performance. Maybe just need to practice it a bit more with it.
Hey Harm, could you get me the Epic from RED for me and then I won't be so impatient anymore.
    Thanks.

  • There's a hard case I like for the ipod, but would like to back it with a clear silicone case on top, Is there a clear case that would actually fit over an all ready covered iPod?

Double Layer Hybrid Hard Gel Case Cover for iPod Touch 5th Gen Built In Screen.  Plus, my thought was to find a great cover and keep it in my purse - i have a thick purse and don't hit people with it, so my ipod would be safe in there right?  I'm slightly concerned my screen would break as I don't know how easily breakable the screens are.  Input?  TIA

    Try here:
    iPod touch: Hardware troubleshooting
iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
To get the calender and contacts back if you can't get the iPod working is to restore the new iPod from the backup of the old one.

  • Is there a Corel Draw that works for Mac

Looking to use Corel Draw for my Rhinestone business and found a Corel Draw down load here... http://download.cnet.com/CorelDRAW/3000-2193_4-21005.html
Don't want to jack up my computer but I need this program...
    HELP!!

There is no native Mac OS X version of Corel Draw.
If you need this application you need to install a version of Windows on your iMac via OS X Boot Camp application and install Corel Draw through Windows and run it through Windows on your iMac.

  • Looking for a clear case that protects screen and click wheel

    Hi,
I've got a new 8GB Nano. I'm looking for a case to protect it from general dings and scratches. What I'm looking for is a clear case with screen and click wheel protection. Anyone know where I can find one? So far, all I've been able to find are clear cases that protect the screen but leave the click wheel unprotected. Or is click wheel protection not that that big of a thing?
    Thanks!

There don't seem to be many cases available yet for the new Nano. I ordered one from iSkins, a company in Canada. You can check their website.

  • Is there anyone here that works for itunes support?

is there anyone here that works for itunes support?
I have waited for 39 hours for a response from support team with no reply.  I can get any of my credit cards to be accepted with itunes.  Somthing is wrong on apples side of things..been to apple store and they could not help either.  this is crappy.  I am one of the biggest apple fans but this is one side of apple that really *****.  CAN'T TALK TO A LIVE HUMAN FROM ITUNES?  Give me a break.

I agree completely endive!  I've been fighting for days trying to get some help with a technical problem and apparently, you can't get help from Apple without paying out the nose.  The problem I'm having is due to an update they recommended which I installed and now have no sound in itunes!
I too love Apple products.  I hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, their customer service after the sale!  The are just as bad as Microsoft.

  • IPod classic error 50, 53, 69, etc solution that worked for me

Giving back to the community that I spent so long searching in for a solution to this problem--even though I ended up with my own solution that may or may not work for you.
I bought a 6th gen 160GB iPod classic and tried to sync it to my massive 14,000(+)-song library. The sucker would give me all sorts of errors (50, 53, 69) and never complete my sync. It said my files were corrupted or that an unknown error occurred yada yada. I looked on the forums for a solution and none of them worked. I sent that iPod back and got a 7th gen 160GB instead. SAME ISSUE. MY GOD. My only guess was that since both iPods came from a Mac computer there was some issue with it connecting to Windows--ever after reformatting it.
So, I knew about formatting my iPod and then restoring it to try and resolve the issue that turingtest2 often would point out in many threads similar to this: iPod Classic
What I never did was a full format. But more specifically, I never did a full format and waited for it to finish.
The fix that worked for me was this (and I'm giving my exact order, even if the steps were unnecessary--as the fact that it worked was like a dream come true):
    1) Go to My Computer, right click on Computer in the sidebar and click on Manage.
    2) After the window pops up, click on Device Manager and then Universal Serial Bus Controllers.
    3) Make sure your iPod is plugged in, and right click Apple Mobile Device USB Driver and uninstall it.
    4) Now go to Disk Management in the sidebar. Right click on the iPod and select Format
    5) For format options, select file system as NTFS (I know, I know--but it worked for me), and UNCHECK Quick Format.
    6) Format it, and WAIT for it to finish. It will take a really long time.
    7) After formatting, plug the iPod back in and wait for the driver to install. Open iTunes and restore the iPod.
    8) Wait for the iPod to restore and then sync the music!
If everything was done correctly it should work, possibly.
My hard drive specs before this were:
    Retracts: 34
    Reallocs: 9344
    Pending Sectors: 0
So, the specs were pretty bad, but it still worked for me.
I actually just got done doing another sync and it still seems to be working fine.
    Good luck!

I have had success with this method also, but it is not full-proof. Try the movie "The Incredibles". The audio will be about 10-seconds out-of-sync. (BTW, I own this movie).

  • Is there a flash player that works on the ipad

is there a flash player that works on the ipad

    Re: Flash player for Ipad
Aug 14, 2011 2:22 AM (in response to phaisto)
Folks, here's the sad truth, according to Engadget:
"After nearly 4 years of the iOS platform, Adobe is still having difficulty being able to get Flash Player on Apple’s mobile platform. Many sided with Adobe on this one a couple of years ago calling this exclusion unreasonable, but the latest failures for Android Honeycomb to deliver decent Flash performance justifies Apple's decision. Even the Frash hacks bogged down the 1st generation iPad and the PlayBook had problems bring Flash to their Blackberry Tablet."
Some months ago, before I really researched this issue, I was determined to "get around Steve Jobs obvious hidden personal and business greed agendas" and run Flash on a tablet. So I bought an ASUS Transformer Tablet just to be able to run flash (a $400 "app")! OK, just a wee bit over the top. But, I can now personally testify to the surprisingly disappointing performance of Flash on Android.
Based on that confirmation, and on numerous reports from those running Flash on jailbroken iPads, either Adobe has lost all of it top notch programmers to Google, Facebook, -- and likely even Apple! -- or it never has been serious about porting Flash to iOS (I suppose this could have been intentional, thinking that the absence of Flash would do serious harm to the platform once folks found out).
But whatever. I am finally over my Flash of "brilliance" and resigned to just skip over the web sites that require Flash, and wait till I am at my iMac or PC to do those that are really necessary. And, despite that the ASUS Tablet does technically run Flash, it does it so poorly that I preferred to use my Mac or PC.
I gave the minty new ASUS Tablet which is otherwise a nicely done, but still "work in progress" (unlike my Android phone) to my med school daughter. She loves it -- and now calls me all the time to talk, usually about how to get stuff to work on it (but any excuse to talk to her is good by me ;-).

  • IOS 6 Wi-Fi fix that worked for me.

I just downloaded IOS 6 and my Wi-fi was not working correctly, everytime I tried to connect to Wi-Fi it took my to an apple page and never loaded wi-fi up.  Here's what I did to fix it.  Click on settings>Wi-Fi>Click blue arrow next to network trying to connect too>change auto-connect to on>scroll down and change HTTP Proxy to Auto.
That worked for me to connect to Wi-Fi.  Hope this helps everyone, I know there's a lot of frustration out there

What iPad update through itunes are you referring to please? I just synched and it says 3.2 is the latest update software for the ipad.

  • IWeb CPU usage, fix that worked for me

On my MacBook Pro having iWeb open and idling with my relatively simple site would cause my CPU usage to hover between 35% and 50%. Pretty disconcerting since I have a 2.66 i7 model and 8 gigs of RAM. Some pages on my blog have a decent amount of text and pictures and typing became a one letter at a time event since the program would just drag. Very annoying.
I did a lot of searching and finally found something today that worked for my situation. Since it took a bunch of time to locate a solution I figured I'd share it.
My problem ended up being a font issue. I opened up Font Book and saw several errors with duplicate fonts. Since there were a few I just did a select all and then selected resolve duplicates from the menu. To be safe I rebooted but that may not have been necessary.
Now iWeb idles between 5% and 10% which is much more reasonable. Not to mention now I can work on my site and have my battery last longer than an hour and a half!
Anyway, I hope this helps someone.

If doing so improved the situation, this confirms that one of Safari's database files has become corrupt and is causing the crashing, and this shows up in your crash log as Thread 3 having crashed.
The blacklists from Google’s Safe Browsing Initiative (where Safari checks for 'fraudulent websites') are contained in a database cache file called SafeBrowsing.db - the file was created when you first launched Safari 3.2, and if you have the browser open, the file is modified approximately every 30 minutes.
As an alternative to turning off 'Warn when visiting a fraudulent website', which will lose you that important security feature, you should delete that database file, (but first close Safari):
    Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari (this is a folder)/SafeBrowsing.db
It will be recreated next time you open Safari, and will then start again collecting details of dodgy websites.

These are the ones I have for this website:
