Is this a bug? Resizing content box problems with opacity.

I was wondering if this is a bug? I've been trying to get a box set behind a text box to resize depending on the amount of content that's within a textbox above it. It works fine when the box underneath the text box is set to 100% opacity. However when I adjust the box below to less than 100% opacity the box stops resizing with the text box. My questions are is this a bug or intended and if it is a bug is there a work-around or will it be fixed soon?

Thank you for bringing this up. We were able to reproduce the issue and it has been logged as a Bug.
It seems to be an issue when opacity is reduced from the toolbar at the top.
However, as a workaround, I would like to suggest you to use the opacity option under the Fill Panel.
For this you need to select the rectangle in the background and then click on Fill Panel which comes up on the right hand side. And you can change the value of opacity from there.
Please have a look at the screenshot below which might help :
When the value of opacity is changed from this Fill Panel, the property of rectangle to resize with text is kept.
We have logged a bug for the issue and hopefully it will be fixed in future releases of Adobe Muse.

You'll need to find your iTunes folder. It's usually located on your main hard disk under My Documents/My Music/iTunes. Copy this whole folder to another hard drive (if possible) or burn it on a CD (probably will take more than one--depending upon how large your library is) or DVD. Once you have a good backup of your library, try downloading and reinstalling iTunes.

Error while opening pdf in reader in windows 8:Can't open this file. There's a problem with file format

I have a problem with a pdf file which does not open with reader in windows 8 but it opens properly with adobe pdf reader. All other pdf can be opened in reader.But when i open a pdf(see this link for pdf for which i got error http://incometaxsoft.com/temp/Form.pdf)
it gives error as "Can't open this file. There's a problem with file format".
The same file opens properly in adobe pdf reader.You can check the pdf file which i have mentioned in the link above.But the reader which comes with windows 8 can open some other pdf in the same PC.What may be the error causing this??

This has turned out to be an enormous issue for me as I sell PDF files as ebooks. I have done a fair amount of investigating this for my system.
My files have to be compatible not just across readers but across operating systems.
To date, I have over 200 PDFs that have functioned flawlessly across Mac, PC (Windows 7 and below), Android, iPhone/iPad, Linux.
I personally test my PDFs using a variety of readers and PDF editors including
PDF XChange (my favorite)
Foxit (runner up for me and I recommend for most people)
Adobe (the bloated monster)
Nitro 9 (great for moving graphical elements around)
ABBYY
And the Nuance PDF Create toolsets
Those are off the top of my head. There are a bunch on Android that I test with too.
I am running the Windows 10 Pro Tech Preview and I have this same problem so I know it isn't fixed yet in any kind of pre-release way (-sigh-)
Here is what I've learned for my situation
The PDFs I created using NUANCE'S PDF CREATE PROFESSIONAL VERSION 8
all fail using the built-in Windows 8/10 PDF reader.
When I look at the PDF properties for these Nuance created files, the underlying engine used to write them is called "ImageToPDF". Using ABBYY it indicates their own engine as does everyone else that I've tried. It is easy for you to check to see
what created your PDF by doing a "Control D" (look at the document properties). Perhaps there's a common engine causing issues.
If I use the exact same source files to create a PDF using any of my other tools I have no issues. I checked the PDF versions made by the tools and they are all set to 1.5.
A customer mentioned being able to convert them in a way they worked by saving them without having to do any kind of extraction, but I have not been able to duplicate that. Perhaps he did a "print" which seems like it could work.
In summary, the workaround everyone is talking about, using an alternate reader, of course works. But not everyone wants to change.
The culprit I have found is my Nuance PDF Creation tools that are using the ImageToPDF engine.
I hope it gets FIXED as I really don't want to have to regenerate all of my PDF files.

Is this a Bug? List Box do not scrollbar: Magic number 2461

In my case I am populating list box from database using script. I noticed strange behavior with List Box being populated more than 2461 list items. At run time List box do not display scrollbar if the list items are more than 2461. Looks like 2461 is the Magic number. I wonder if some one already noticed this behavior. I want to see the scrollbar irrespective of number of list items. In my case I need to load approximately 5000 list items. Any one has suggestions? Is it designed to behave like this or is this a Bug?

I noticed it too !
I have several lists, some oh theme have more than 2460 items and don't have the scroll bar.
An other problem relative to scrollBar in listBox appeared : with Reader 8, i can't use the scroll bar (even if i have less than 2460 items); it appears but i can't scroll.
I see tthe french adobe team about these 2 problems next week. If we find something new, i'll tell you.

File XML Content Conversion: Problem with special characters

in a file sender cc content conversion is used to transform a flat structure to XML. What we experiencecd is that the message mapping failed due to a character that was not allowed in XML:
I was assuming that the file content conversion just creates XML messages with allowed characters. Is there any way to configure content conversion to remove control characters which are not allowed in XML? Unfortunately the sender system cannot be modified.

Please remove spaces between characters within double quotes. I have added them because otherwise you can't see this code properly. Please check this below link , please replace the characters with proper values as the display is causing a problem here

Bug or my setting problem with konsole fonts

I have problem with my konsole after update. It seems like font offset is wrong. Fonts are rendered too low.

Here you can see there should be text _qij on the konsole but as you can see the bottom rows of the font is missing. This happens in every font that I have tried. I wonder if i have some setting wrong or is there a bug?

The workaround to "Enable Bi-Directional text rendering" works for me in konsole.

My iPhone 5 is connected to Wi-Fi but cannot load Safari, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Is this because of iOS7 craze or problem with phone itself?

I have an iPhone 5 with Sprint. The problem started yesterday when the iOS7 update was available for download. My phone shows that I am connected to our Wi-Fi but Safari pages won't load, apps will not open, and social site's newsfeeds wont update. If I turn off then turn on the Wi-FI, it will work for a few seconds but then lose connection. Same thing happens if I turn on/off the phone and if I switch it to airplane mode and back. We have televisions that work with Wi-Fi and they seem to be doing just fine. Is there anyone else experiencing this? Is it happenig because of the iOS 7 update craze or does it sound like a problem with the phone itself? PLEASE HELP.

If all your files are missing
You may have logged in as a different user, such as Guest. Open the Users & Groups pane in System Preferences. Your name should be at the top of the user list, under Current User. See also this support article.
If files are missing from one folder
Change the Finder view mode; for example, from icon view to list view, or vice versa.
If files are present, but seem outdated
You may have started up from a different volume (disk.) Open the Startup Disk preference pane and check the selection.

Authoring problem with DVD-ROM content, Authoring problem with DVD-ROM content

Out of nowhere, I can't seem to add DVD-ROM content to my latest DVD. The folder is about 1100 photos and weighs in at 1.6GB. The content is accepted, the DVD burns and all seems right until you try to access the DVD folders. The video plays beautifully. The folder structure displays but I can't even get the VIDEO_TS folder to display detail consistently. This isn't my first time to the fair, I've been authoring with DVDSP for 8-9 years.
I went back and reviewed the the procedure step-by-step, I even re-named all the photos to comply with ISO 9660 naming conventions... no joy. I've
burned it with and without the Joliet Extension Support, no difference.
I'm on an (early 2008) 8x3.2GHz Mac Pro running Snow Leopard (10.6.8) and FCS3.
Anyone ever seen this? I'm stumped.

Michael, thanks for the response. It turns out it's both the size and quantity of photos.
I feel stupid for not solving this earlier, but it took a trip to one of my back-up systems to see the problem:
The SuperDrive simply doesn't have the bandwidth to quickly transfer sufficient info to display these additional folders. I tried the same DVD on one of my souped up G5 dualies (with new 16X burner) and it seemed to incrementally display the folders. That's when I realized that a DVD with a couple of GB of video on it is a poor display system. LOL
I'll re-organize the data into more, smaller folders and instruct the recipients to be patient or drag the folders to their desktop.
