Is this a current feature?

This is me hoping I can exlain what I am looking for in the right way...
Often I work with images that I am trying to edit. What I am wonder is if Photoshop CS4 has a feature to where you can select a certain area of the image/layer and make it a "no edit zone". Further explaination, this "no edit zone" would make any kind of editing done over this zone not appear on the image. In case you don't follow, I often work with images where I'm modifying the color/texture by hand and end up painting outside of areas on the image that I want to modify, forcing me to take the erase tool, zoom in and carefully erase out the areas I colored in that I didn't want to modify. So simply, this feature would take out the extra time of going back and erasing and just not let you edit over the selected area that you chose as a "no edit zone".
I'm crossing my fingers hoping that there is a feature like this on Photoshop CS4?

Yes. You can use a selection or a mask to constrain your edits.

That doesnt work for me. I removed itunes through the windows cleaner method as shown in other posts and re-installed itunes. Now im getting this error

I know it was working with numbers like "15:30" but i never seen before to work with phrases? (a simple "tomorrow" won't work.)

Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (The results from mydigitallife and Major Geeks are worth checking.)
After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp. Restart the PC, and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

I have a DVD containing numerous PDF files, most in folders. I am working from my home business computer. One file exclusive of a folder has many hyperlinks that are intended to take the reader to the folders or in some case specific files in the folders. The hyperlinks work when they link to a specific file and don't work when they link to a folder. The message I receive is " This file is set to be launched by the PDF File. This is currently disallowed by you system administrator."
I don't know what to do this with this problem and hope someone can provide some guidance.

As for the original question, there is not really enough information about what is being done. Are the links to other PDF files or different types of files? Are the related applications available on the system? Are the links absolute or relative? Those are only a few of the questions to help us answer your questions.

The ability to do Wi-Fi syncing of devices was introduced some time ago. Perhaps it was recently enabled for your devices by accident. When connected to iTunes you should see an option on the summary tab for the device to Sync this <device> over Wi-Fi. Untick that option if desired.

The change between Firefox 3.6.* and Firefox 4 is how location bar search works. In Firefox 3.6 it uses Google "Browse by name" search. With the browse by name search, it performs a Google search and if there is a clear match it will take you to the site, otherwise it shows the Google search result. With Firefox 4 it just performs a Google search if you type something which is not recognised as a URL.
To get the Firefox 3.6 behaviour on Firefox 4 you need to change a hidden preference.

I can only guess about the reason... Firefox works with many websites' "rich text" editors, but ones that haven't been updated for five years may assume that Firefox is the old Netscape browser and use scripting techniques that don't work in Firefox.
If Verizon has a different "basic" or HTML editor that you can tolerate using, you could try that. It might not be subject to the same incompatibilities.
If I someday get a Verizon account, I will surely be looking into this further, but for now, it's hard to suggest anything else.

PSE12 Destroys Create Date of JPG when editing occurs. Is this a desirable feature?

It appears as thought PSE has been destroying the file create date whenever a save/replace occurs since PSE8. Is this a desirable feature or should PSE be revised to preserve the create date in the JPG?

Lightroom does not support comments (except for some web publishing services...).
I wrote CustomMetadata to fill this void, but I'm sure John Beardy would want you to know about Big Note too.
Or you can just bastardize some obscure IPTC field if you prefer...

To Reset Firefox do the following:

Why is it that people think they have all these "rights"? There is a difference between a "right" and a "privilege". It is painfully obvious that most people who say that have a "right" to do something don?t know what their rights are at all.
First and foremost, moderating a privately owned forum is not a violation of anyone's "rights". Before someone complains about their "right to free speech" being violated because of a forum moderator, you need to understand about the right to "free speech" in "America" (Actually you should say in the U.S. because Cuba is part of "America" as well and they don't have a constitutionally guaranteed "right to free speech" ) applies to CONGRESS and what CONGRESS can't do. Basically, it restricts the government, not private citizens and private forums.
And even though you may have the "right" to say something, it doesn't mean that anyone here has to listen to you...and that includes the moderators and forum owner. In other words, they can tell you to shut up by locking or deleting a topic. If you want to practice your ?right? beyond that, open your door and shout at the top of your lungs?and when the police show up, you can'tell them?all about your ?rights?

I need to make a change to RFKKRLWP program to have business partner and customer name shown in the same grid. What's the best way to display the extended internal table in this grid and at the same time preserve all its features. That is, double click on the row to display the dialog box as it's currently doing?
I don't want to make a big change to it. Currently, I'm having problems with extending the field catalog unless a big change is made.

Which particular .msi file (or files) does the message (or messages) go on to say cannot be found? (Several different .msi files might be mentioned in this context: itunes.msi, bonjour.msi, AppleSoftwareUpdate.msi, etc.)

Is this a current feature?
