Is this a HUGE bug, or am I crazy?

Question

The following code generates a stackoverflowerror
using jsdk1.4 on windows, instead of printing "hello".
If it's not a bug, can anyone explain why this
happens?
public class SubClass extends SuperClass{
  public SubClass(){}
  public String toString(){
    return toString(0);
  public String toString(int i){
    return super.toString();
  public static void main(String[] args){
    SubClass s = new SubClass();
    System.out.println(s.toString());
class SuperClass{
  public SuperClass(){}
  public String toString(){
    return toString(0);
  public String toString(int i){
    return "HELLO";

It is very funny,
Never the super class's toString(int 0 ) method will be executed.It will cause a chaining between SubClass toString(int 0) mehtod and super class toString() mehtod.Since ur specifically caliing super.toString() SuperClass mehtod will execute, then it will call tostring(int 0) mehtod since the runtime object is of subclass the subclass,s toString(int 0) method will will be executed,it will cause a cyclic call then java.lang.StackOverflowError exception .
