thanks mrhelper sounds great, but I don't see this as an option under features. maybe it's not false advertising, but if they really want to offer the service to ensure loyalty it either needs to be easier to find and/or they need to provide some direction. Better yet, why isn't it automatic? The irony is that I'd actually be a more satisfied customer if I'd never received the e-mail at all. feeling frustrated.

Since no one here works for Apple and we all volunteer our time, yes, this is a forum for genuine Mac supporters. However, it is hosted by Apple and we have to adhere to their rules. Your post was not a technical support question that anyone here could answer. It may have been deleted before you saw my reply, but I suggested you write a letter directly to Apple. It's extremely unlikely anyone who could address your issues would be reading this forum.

My Windows XP software recently had an automatic update and now when I open iTunes, I receive the message "This copy of iTunes is corrupted or is not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes."
I have not used iTunes for several weeks so the issue may not be related to the last Windows XP automatic upgrade. I have never had problems with iTunes in the past. Is this a real message or perhaps a virus?
Before I reinstall iTunes, any thoughts?

Let's try a repair install of iTunes.
Restart the PC first.
If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "iTunes" and then click "Repair".
If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "iTunes", and click "Change". Select "Repair" and click "Next" as per the following screenshot:

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the broken tracks from your iTunes library, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

I'm going to look tomorrow to a laptop, the seller say it's an HP Elitebook 840 G1
He never used it and once turned it on, but than he had to registrate and thought it was better not to do that and leave that the person who buy the laptop.
I asked him what model it is, because there are several models, but he can't find it.
He said it has:

and that the hard disc is 360 and the strange thing is that I can't find a HP Elitebook 840 G1 with a hard disc from 360
He bought it in Canada.
He did send me some pictures with the stickers which are on the laptop, but I don't know where to look for to check this is real or not.

It is a scam. Forward a copy of the email to both your internet service provider and your email service provider and explain that it is likely a phishing scam. DO not visit the site of the survey or any other link in the email. Delete the email.
