Is this an easy fix? Error message:\pre\Libraries\Asl\Foundation\Src\DirectoryRegistry.cpp-174
I have created a slideshow in PSE5 and exporting to Premiere Elements 3. As it was being exported, I received an error message as Premiere tried to open. The message is listed above in title. It has never happened before.
I have no idea what it means. Wondering if I should just replace with Version 9 but would this correct the problem?
All comments welcome. Thanks!
Hi Steve: Your questions were very helpful. I am now able to load Premiere
3!! In my travels over the last few days to see if I could fix the problem,
I also downloaded Premiere 9 but it would not let me access it. It now loads
properly too! I did a defragmentation and also ran the system program to
check for memory problems. The memory checker seemed to re-set my computer
back to the beginning and caused a few moments of panic but everything ok
now. So, thanks very much for taking the time to look at my query and
respond. Much appreciated!

I have CS2 (education version) and my Premier Pro 2.0 gives me the following error when i try to load it: \dev\stingray\Libraries\Asl\Foundation\Src\DirectoryRegistry.cpp-174
and will not load. All other CS2 applications are working. This program was working about a year ago so I'm not sure why or when it stopped. The only thing i can find on the web is a possible conflict with Matrox, which i do not have, and mention of possible conflict with some codex but no hint as to what kind or which ones or the like. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be very grateful. These similar errors might provide a solution:
Error:DirectoryRegistry.cpp-165
Error:DirectoryRegistry.cpp-283

Hi everybody!
I think that all the info needed is in the subject's name.. When I want to add now medias in Adobe Elements 3.0, I receive this error message...
So, my question is... What I have to do?
Please answer quickly, I have something to give to school tomorrow!
Thanks!
MiguelHi, Steve.
I know I didin't say a lot of things... in fact, I don't know a lot about my cpu. I'll try to answer the questions I can, hope it can be helpful!
I have Vista (Familial Premium), a T3400. I am on a 32-bit.
I dont know if it's the RAM, but I have 2.0 Go of memory.
And for the space in my CPU, it's not a problem. I have an external hard disc, with lots and lots of space in it!
And I didin't downloaded the patch yet. But the fact is the problem just occured a few days ago. Before, everything was always fine...
Thanks in advance! -
Hi
I work with Premierre pro CS4. When I export my media the adobe media encoder seems to be working fine when I push start queue, untill l get the error message [..\..\src\RemoteImporterModule.cpp-282] This only happens with one particular project, but with all sequences in this project. Can anyone tell me what it means, and what I should do to be able to export my movie. I have tried different formats, but none of them work.Dylan,
I agree with John T. on starting a new post. I almost did not even view this one, due to the course that it has run.
We might be able to get a poor, overworked MOD to "branch it," but then the title might not generate enough interest. In a forum, like this one, the post's title is sort of like a magazine's cover on the news stand - it needs to grab people, in hopes that they will at least look inside of it.
If you do create a new post/discussion, we can Copy John T's questions to it, but do not hesitate to incorporate those answers into your post. We can do that, as mere users, and do not need a MOD's console to do it.
The more info, that you can add, the fewer questions you will get, and the sooner people can get to work on your issue.
If I understand correctly, I do not recall reading of this. However, and predicated on the answers to John T's questions, there might be something else happening.
Good luck, and I will look for the new post.

On Windows Vista and tried several times to start up my iTunes, but keep getting 'application failed MSVCR80.dll error-7 (windows 126) is this an easy fix ...?
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

How does one fix error message "There is a problem with Adobe Acrobat/Reader.
If it is running, please exit and try again. (6:6)http://www.essexinfo.net/queens-road-residents-association/assets/documents/village-voices is one example but a whole lot of the material which has been uploaded as pdf files over the last four years is now unviewable - if you click on the link you just get a black page. The main site url is http://www.essexinfo.net and our site is the Queens Road Residents Association. I have just gone through every link on the site and a number of links when clicked on will not bring up the material. I tried going into Adobe 10 on my computer and disenabling protected mode as was suggested on your forum and at first when I went back into the essex info site it seemed to have worked when I clicked on a link that had only produced a black page. However when I went back to test all the other links I found that the problem was still re-occuring. This is really weird as the site and my connections to it which I sometimes make by directly accessing the site and sometime via a link from our QRRA blog have always worked perfectly with no problems up to now. I downloaded adobe 10.1 on 8 March 2011.
I contacted essexinfo separately but they said everything seemed to be OK at their end working from within the system.
If you can help I would appreciate it.

RonnyFirst, take a look at this thread, toward the end of the second page:

Your ansswer is there, somewhere.
Unfortunately, you've not provided enough system information to solve this.(The only info is that you use a MacBook Pro.) This issue may have been addressed in a prior version. Update your Support Communitees Profile to include your current hardware, system, and devices. -
>I am getting this error message "..\..\src\ppixHandleUtilities.cpp_114". I just started getting it in Adobe Premiere CS3 today. It occurs every time I start or stop the video in the timeline. I can not find an answer in the Help menu. Any suggestions?
Please provide 'these details' to help us help you.
'These details' is linked to the link - http://premierepro.wikia.com/wiki/Troubleshooting#WikiaArticle
Just for the benefit of all!
Btw, I've checked with the wonderful list you've provided on that link.
Sorry about my dumb questions below as I'm a victim of this error message as well...
OS - Windows XP
Software - Adobe Premiere CS3
Video type - Digital
Gear - Canon 5D Mark II
Files used -
1. .mov, shot with a Canon 17-40mm (wide-angle) and a Canon 50mm 1.4 (portrait) lenses.
2. Default stills.
Audio - One .mp3 track throughout
Video length - 6 minutes
Project frame size -
HD Anamorphic 1080, because of the wide-angle. The other Pixel Aspect ratios are cropping the existing clips
Export format -
Compressor - DV PAL
PAR: HD Anamorphic 1080
Tadaaa I get the error message stated above!
My question(s) -
Since I've shot clips with a wide-angle lens and a 50mm which is not wide at all, would these be conflicting with each other?
Should we use only one lens (mm) to shoot the entire video clippings?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Much appreciated! -

First, PrE wants to be installed competely on the C:\ and wants direct access to the My Documents folder. It also wants to be both installed and then launched from an Administrator account.
It is not designed (nor is the big-brother PrPro) to function in a fully networked environment. It will extract media, etc. from an NAS, or from a mapped networked drive, but it does not like to run under most networked environments.
It's my guess that there is something in this installation that it is not comfortable with. More details will likely help.
Good luck, and looking for the answers to the questions above.

Hello,

Debug Event:
Premiere Pro has encontered an error.
[.. \ .. \ Src \ PPixhandleUtilities.cpp-114]
2. =================================

your project and proceed with caution.

I've tried to reinstall Adobe Premiere of her, but the problem persists.
What should be done to solve this problem which paralyzes all my work? How to repair projects that get a "TickTime.cpp-290" error after opening a specific project.

Cosa faccio? GrazieHow to repair projects that get a "TickTime.cpp-290" error after opening a specific project.
