I like how the subscription feature in these discussion boards e-mail the text of new messages, some other forum/discussion boards just e-mail you a link to the new post, so you have to click on that to visit the new post in your web browser.

To whom it may concern, This morning I purchased an album, on listening to it three of the tracks are not playing correctly. FYI on Apple Discussion Boards
I was on the apple discussion boards looking for an ical/entourage question. There are questions about BB's on there. I replied to one and sent the link for Mac's and BB's (this section). Mainly about syncing address book and iCal problems.
That's just something I thought I would post, not sure what you guys will do with it.

What Software Runs The Apple Discussion Boards?
I really like the way the Apple Discussion boards work. They've seemed a bit slow this weekend, but other than that, I like how the system operates. I recently was comparing a bunch of forum software:

I Have 1 Question About The Apple Discussion Message Boards?
I Think Apple.com & Apple Discussion Message Boards needs to come up with an Apple App for Apple iPhone & Apple iPod Touch 1 reason is cause I Try to go on The Apple Discussion Message Boards on My Safari on My Apple iPhone 4 32GB from Verizon Wireless & The Internet is very Slow on there so maybe if Apple.com & The Apple Discussion Message Boards had an App Specialty for The Apple Discussion Message Boards for Apple iPhone 4 & Apple iPod Touch maybe then The Apple Discussion Message Boards will Run more Faster cause My Apps for My Apple iPhone 4 32GB From Verizon Wireless are always faster then The Internet on My Apple iPhone 4 in Safari, I Hardly use My Safari in My Apple iPhone 4 cause it's always slow, Sometimes it's Fast but sometimes more it's Slow, so maybe I Thought we should make an Apple Discussion Message Boards iPhone App for Apple iPhone & Apple iPod Touch? it was just an Idea it was more a Suggestion to come up with an iDea of it & I Did not mean to post this in the wrong forum if I Did? Apple sells unlocked iphones now.
They can be used with any compatible/GSM carrier.
Iphones are not compatible at all with Sprint.
T-Mobile is currently being purchased by AT&T. -
Problem logging into Apple Discussions with valid AppleID
I have been a used of the Apple Discussions Board for some time. Recently, a problem developed. When I tried to log in using my AppleID, I started receiving the message that a needed to create a new Apple Discusssions Board account.
First, I did not understand why I needed to.
Second, when I tried to go ahead and create the new account. It says it has problems with my AppleID.
I noticed that after I login with that AppleID, it does not appear in the appropriate space on the Create User form. When I log in using another AppleID, I can create a new user account without a problem but my preferred Alias is already taken (I suspect by my old account).
Is there any way to get my old account and points back?

This seems to indicate that the actual login attempt was succesful even though I'm still stuck on the logon screen.

I tried that already and it didn't work. I just tried it again just to make sure and it still doesn't work

I've made the entry in the sapum.properties and restarted the portal but to no avail, it still doesn't work.
It's gotten even weirder: if I use the IP address of the portal in the URL (http://10.2.30.2:5000/irj) then I get the same behaviour as when I use the fully qualified domain name....I'm stuck on the logon screen again. It seems like the only URL that works correctly is http://nebula:5000/irj.

Contacting Other Apple Discussions Members Who Have No E-mail Address
Hello All;
How do we contact other Apple Discussions members who have no e-mail address or contact information in their public profile listing? Some years ago, I was able to do this in the Apple Discussion Boards. There used to be a 'send e-mail to this person' icon in the profiles listings.

I don't think that works any more, nor does using "DOT" in place of the symbol. It is better to create a graphic of "name at site dot domain" and then just paste that in where you want to put your email address. Of course, it is easier to do that on a web page then it is to do it here. -

(As I read in some other discussions that some people asked for solution from apple support and they told them to reset the device or so.. You may need to make your statement clear that it's appearing both on iTunes and iPhone )

After updating to Mavericks and trying to updates for my apps I get : This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled. My apple id has always been .mac but after the update I used .me. Are these not synonymous?

Cannot post - Apple Discussion temporarily not available

I have been trying to post a message since about a week ago. I keep getting the message that Apple Discussion is temporarily not available and to visit Apple Support.
But, I noticed there are messages being posted by others during this period. I am posting from Asia. Is this problem in Asia only ..??
Appreciate some heads up to what I can do to resolve this issue.
Thanks.If this was happening to me, I would try the Open DNS numbers.
So go up to the Apple icon on the top left corner of your screen.
Double click and move your cursor down to "System Preferences."
Then go down to "Network."
Click on Advanced button down in the lower right.
In the resulting box, click on the top menu > DNS.
Then, write down the two (probably) addresses in the left pane (DNS Servers).
(This is in case this doesn't work, and you can simply put the old ones back in easily)
Then erase those old numbers and replace with 208.67.222.222 (top one)
and 208.67.220.220 (lower one). The order is just to make things clearer to you.
It really doesn't matter.
Then when the new numbers are in there, go down to the lower right corner of that pane,
and click the OK button.
Restart Safari, and test again.

This error message will appear erraneously, if you skipped the update to Mavericks and iPhoto 9.5.1 and went straight from an earlier MacOS X version to Yosemite, without first updating to iPhoto 9.5.1 and associating iPhoto to your AppleID.
Try first to buy iPhoto with your AppleID instead of updating. Delete iPhoto from Applications, but don't empty the Trash, then go to the main page of the App Store and search for iPhoto. If you are lucky, it will show as free and you can buy it directly.
If iPhoto is not showing as free, there is no help but contacting the App Store Support: Ask for a redemption code. You will need to provide a prove of purchase for your mac with iPhoto preinstalled.
