Is this bug fixed in Logic 8?
Hello-
I use the 8 core with Logic, and have noticed and read that there has been a bug regarding Intel macs and SMPTE getting messed up in Logic when moving tempo maps around. I have been experiencing this myself and it is a major PITA. I am wondering if anyone out there is using Logic 8 with an Intel mac under these circumstances. I myself am slaving Logic to an other computer(with protools) via MTC, which has been giving me the issues. I actually have Logic 8 in my possession now, but can't install at this time because I am in the middle of a series of projects for picture.
Any experience with this would be appreciated. (I would ask mac tech support, but they don't have an answer for this situation)

No, this "bug" is not fixed in LP8 - so you still have to wait for long delays and reverbs to decay - have a cup of tea in the meantime or wipe the dust off your Monitor...

Still on Logic 8 in OSX10.5.8 over here.

I enter the UPC code for the CD I'm authoring.
I click OK.

It's not there.

It works ok for me in Logic 9. Don't remember if it worked for me in Logic 8 or not.

When we look at our JRE installation version executing this command : java -version, we have this :
java version "1.6.0_16"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_16-b01)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 14.2-b01, mixed mode)
We cannot find which JRE 6 version embeds this bug fix. Is the "b27" info in the bug fix is related to the -bNN info of the JavaHotSpot build info or is related to the update info (here _16) as it appears in the artifact name : jre-6u16-windows-i586.exe for example.
We also look in the release notes of all JRE 6 without founding any reference on this bug. Does it really embeded in any JRE ?

Those are the versions. Where 1.4 comes before 1.6.

Java 6 was released on 12/11/2006. 2006 is of course after 2005. About 2 years after that.

Java 6 has been end of lifed for quite some time now. So you really need to get off of it.

Hey im trying to implement this bug fix i found in the forum, but i get errors at the (pos+1) line of code.

Hi if you will notice the files are arranged by types...
on the first two left lanes its working good.. sorted by PDF Documents, DOcumnets, Movies etc... on the right lane... it's sorted but if you will notice..
it shows up as Folders.. and it's not looking the same as the other two left lanes..
With the name and then a line under to make it look nice..

Flicker appears solely the fault of Premiere Pro CC 2014.2. Tested on different computers. Used as nVidia Quadro and GeForce GTX770. Drivers were different. Everywhere equally evident flicker. Incidentally, it defies logic and may occur at different film pieces. If re-render that flicker may occur on another spot in the video.
It can occur even in the parts without filters !!! But no all time.

Is this a brand new project or one you updated from an earlier version? What kind of footage are you exporting? Which preset are you using?

If I can repeat the case here with the same hardware, GPU, and drivers, that would be easier to fix the bug. Currently, I cannot recreate the bug. If you or anyone else can provide me with steps to recreate the bug, that would help immensely. It sounds like this will be the difficult thing.

Im using intel macbook pro 13" and since I'm using the new OSX Lion, the keyboard backlit won't turn off and it's eating up my precious battery. Im always mobile so this is very important. Apple doing something to fix this bug immediately?

Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.

Apple, please fix this bug. Sending scanned images to "Pictures" is not what I want nor what I was able to do in every previous operation system. I want to save all scanned items in a specific folder - NOT "PICTURES" Please fix this bug NOW!
I only use Image Capture, so I can't speak for other software.

From what i understand i see that - Cookies are not transferred between your website and your webapp when installing the icon on the home screen (for authentication purposes for example). It was working until 6.1 and now it’s not working anymore.

Hi. Whenever I go through one of the menus in firefox, the links remain highlighted after my mouse passes over them. Is there a bug fix for this or is there something wrong with my computer? I am running windows 7 if that helps. This problem started ever since I upgraded to version 5.
I have downloaded and used the iPod Reset Utility, alot that did. My current state is iTunes on my XP Home with SP3 sees the iPod. When I drag a song to the iPod, the Sync message appears for about 5 minutes, then the Apple symbol appears. But no song has been transferred to the iPod.
I tried to tap into the XP iTunes database from my iBook, but although it acted like it would add the XP library to the iBook library, it did not. I've got 19 Gs of songs on the XP. If I have to load each song from its original CD to get it on my iBook I'm going to start looking for some other app or device so that I can listen to my music.
It is a shame, in the old days, Apple techs use to look at what was going on, now it appears they don't, so they never know they have problems until Apple's profits fall.
