Yes, OtterBox is a good brand. I can't speak to that specific model case, but overall OtterBox cases are some of the most protective.

HashMap - Is this code any good ?

I am fetching some records from the database. They are in this format:
DAY|BUDGET|TO BUY
Records:
MON|19.95|GET DVD
MON|19.95|GET HEADPHONE
TUE|100.99|GET STEREO
TUE|100.99|GET MORE DVDS
So, for each day, the budget is same, but I have list of things to buy.
I have a jsp that gets this data through EJB.
On the JSP, I would like to display this data like this:
MON: 19.95
GET DVD
GET HEADPHONE
TUE:100.99
GET STEREO
GET MORE DVDS
To make this work, I am using a HashMap of HashMap of List.
The first HashMap will have the days.
For each day, another HashMap is stored with two keys "price", "items".
For items key, there is a List that includes all the items.
So if we take MON: it will be like this
itemList = new ArrayList();
itemList.add("GET DVD");
itemList.add("GET HEADPHONE");
//Actually I use a value object for each record and add those to the List.
priceMap.put("price","19.95");
priceMap.put("items",itemList);
dayMap.put("MON",priceMap);
My question is: Is this good way of implementing it or is there any better way ?

Think "objects." For each day, the value in the map can be an object of type Budget (or whatever you want to call it). Inside each Budget object is a map or other data structure describing prices and items. Perhaps at some point you'll want an Item or Task object to store more detail about those things. A design like that tends to be much easier to work with.

Anyone else noticed the 'Refurbished' on it? It only has a 90 warrenty and no possibility of getting extended warrenty through Best Buy. I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole, honestly - the warrenty really means so much!

Im planning to buy the one with 4gb, but i havent seen any reviews. I want it to last for at least 4 years. Can you tell me what you think about this laptop, how is it? Im planning on dual booting vista and ubuntu also.

It is not "necessary" , but will indeed help with the ventilaion. If you are looking for something to help with "venting" your MBP while using a secondary monitor, I would suggest you buy the rain design mStand for macbooks.

Have a look to this site for more detailed info and hints about a DVD writer (http://www.anandtech.com/printarticle.aspx?i=2260). As they say, "setting a booktype (bitsetting) is just the process of telling your burner to convert a DVD+R disc "virtually" into a DVD-ROM instead. This feature is important for some people who have older set-top DVD players that cannot recognize the "bit" that determines what type of DVD media is sitting in the drive". Many just don't care, but if movies are your first goal, well, maybe you'll find it an interesting option.
And yes, you're right: much better not to mess with firmwares. Anyway, don't worry too much: I can burn and play my favourite movies even with my not-so-up-to-date DRA-8.

I have a domain with 2 DCs (both virtual machines) in 2 different Hyper-V Hosts, and one of the perform as a PDC Emulator.
Dose this case make any influence on the time sync?
i.e. Both of the VMs sync with Hyper-V host, instead the other host should sync with the PDC Emulator?
I run w32tm command and get the following result:

It looks like your PDC is successfully pulling time from an external source. DC8 is not longer pulling from Hyper-V so that is good.
When you set a client to pull from a source ( and in this case DC8 is pulling from NT5DS, which tells it to pull from the PDC), and it CAN'T pull from that source, it will default to Local CMOS Clock. This is likely an easy fix.
First, check connectivity:
- Method one- Download Portqry and run this command: portqry -n HPVZH05 -p both -e 123 and see if the results say listening, or
- Method two- Run this command from DC8: w32tm /stripchart /computer:HPVZH05
If you get any kind of error using method two, it's a connectivity issue. (Maybe you have a firewall that's blocking access?)
The other cause of this, and probably more likely in your case, is that your PDC isn't properly advertising as a reliable time source, so DC8 isn't 'allowed' to pull from it.
Try running this command on your PDC: w32tm /config /reliable:yes
Then go restart time on your PDC, THEN DC8 again. (net stop w32time & net start w32time)

Sorry i correct myself i had been an iPhone user for about 3 years. My last Apple iPhone was an iPhone 5. I am getting used to things with the Samsung but really think the extra features such as smart stay and scroll are coverting humans into robots. The configuration of the features is also difficult as it detects your eye movement so if the movement is out of place even the slightest the feature will not function. I think the ios user interface is simple in comparison to the android user interface. Any views are appreciated? I have many friends also using HTC and prefer it in comparison to the iPhone and Galaxy but as raymond73 mentioned choice is a wonderful thing.

Does any one use the SPIGEN iphone case? if so, can you tell me the difference between the ultra fit, ultra fit a, ultra fit s, and ultra hybrid? also does this case get in the way of the camera flash? i ask because the camera opening seems so small.

The Ultra Fit A has a cutout on back to display the Apple logo. The Ultra Fit and Ultra Fit S do not. And the Ultra Fit and Ultra Fit A are a soft matte finish all over, while the Ultra Fit S has a brushed finish in its midsection.
The Ultra Hybrid is a bumper, with back protection. (1) It's made of TPU (for anti-shock) vs. the all polycarbonate (for anti-slip) Ultra Fit/A/S.
(2) It also has power and volume buttons overlaying Apple's, which the Ultra Fits do not. (3) Lastly, it covers all four sides, whereas the Ultra Fits cover the left and right sides and wrap around the four corners, leaving the top and bottom exposed (which is good if you want to connect some models of headphones or adapters that require more space there).
They're all properly designed for the 5/5S flash, including the black around that cutout (you don't want to buy a case that doesn't have a black rim there).
IMO Spigen's slim cases are better made/more durable than other third-party cases (of which I've bought aplenty). I love mine!
