Is this creative suite or leopard causing my mac pro to freeze, quit and not sleep?

Question

I hav recently bought a high end mac pro and leopard and I am lucky if I get 30 minutes before the whole system freezes. Tried re-installing in a different hard drive on the pro - same problem. If I put the computer to sleep, 80% of the time when I return, it has shut down. Actions in CS3 are deleted. Everything is a bit random and I can not work it out. Running disk utility, from the computer and disk produces this:

Permissions repair complete
All software is up to date. I do have some plug-ins that are supposed to be cool with this system.
Can anyone help or do I have to return this computer?
