Is this design attached possible in Flash?

Please take a look at this preliminary design for a video production studio and tell me if this is possible in Flash. Notes in magenta are on the sketch.
Any modification suggestions to make this possible are also welcome. If you are willing and able, I would be happy to give you the job of helping me make this go live.
Thank You!

I would say it is all doable in Flash, though the part that I'd be wary of would be animating the folks in the chairs... a smooth animation could be costly in file size, and I don't know what to recommend for creating that animation.  I haven't dealt much with video, but I know that you can interupt a currently playing video to play another based on a small project I did.

You know at the beginner, after the word 'table', you know how the entire sentence fliped to the left. This is what I would like to learn. What do you call that? Is it camera? Where can I find tutorial like that?

yes, that's possible in flash (and that's a rotation in flash).  i don't know what you call that in after effects.
there's not much to that but some basic text effects.  flash doesn't have any built-in effects so you'll have to create those yourself or find a component that may do some of that for you.
use google to search for a tutorial:  flash <your as version> text effects.

  • Installing Design Standard CS3 without Flash Player 9...?

    Hi,
I hope someone can advise me here?
I would love to be able to install Design Standard CS3 without the Flash Player 9 Plugins... Both Active X and Plug-In versions.
    Is this at all possible?
I have scanned through the various XML files on the install DVD and have seen entries for both Active X and Plugin versions of Flash Player 9 in the setup.xml file.
Removing these lines from the XML doesn't make any difference and Flash Player is still installed as part of the CS3 install.
I have also tried renaming the folders containing the Flash MSI's and the installation fails at the 'Shared Components' stage.
I'm obviously missing a trick here but hoped someone might know the answer?
    Many thanks,
    Gav

I'm sure there are deployment instructions and tools for CS3 somewhere in the Dev Center. If this is only for your own perusal, then don't bother. any isntall of a newer version of Flash Player will superceed the old one.

  • Source Attachment Settings in Flash Builder

    Hello everyone,
I am facing an issue with debugging. I don't want to step through the framework code in the debug mode. To avoid that, I removed the Source attachments, by selecting that node in the tree and clicking on remove. But it doesn't save the change settings. When I debug after saving these settings, it jumps to framework classes e.g. UIComponent etc. After looking at it again, I can again see the Source attachments. I tried looking at the entire checked out source, but not able to find out, how this Source attachment setting is working in Flash Builder. I don't want to jump through framework classes. Is it possible to do this ?
Note: After the experiments above, I removed the Flex SDK and then copied all the swc classes and put them in a separate folder, still Flash Builder is able to find out the source attachment. Any light on how it works
    Thank you

    Hi Chetan,
Please use the Labs forums for questions regarding the beta release, as the Builder team won't find your post here. These forums are used for discussing development on the Flex framework and other Flex open source related discussions.

I'm continually getting a "movie script error" in regards to
a looping interactive. The following message: "A script in this
movie is causing Adobe Flash Player 9 to run slowly. If it
continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you
wish to abort the script?" frustratingly comes up despite numerous
startups and taking off information from the server. It seemed to
occur slightly after uploading some content to the admin server
which delivers the info to flash upon rebooting. However this last
time it just cycles through a small portion frantically. How do I
find out where the problem is and fix it?
    any clues?
    thanks in advance, Patrick

Hi Patrick and welcome to our community
What product are you using? This is the forum for Adobe
RoboHelp. Your post seems to imply that you are using a Flash
output of some type. Is it FlashHelp? Or are you possibly dealing
with Adobe Captivate? Or maybe Flash itself?
    Cheers... Rick

                                             No     Yes"

    Hi,
Some "movies' are actually Flash files.
This means the Flash App will play them (possibly in a browser in some cases).
Depending where this item is and how it is playing it may be effected by other things
A web page can include javascript.
Apple uses javascript here to help with creating the posting box, the Edit options, Adding pics/smilies and the like.
Sometimes the javascript can be what is called a runaway process and gets sort of stuck in an endless loop.
If it is a free standing item then it might be triggered by AppleScript on the Mac. (or be modified in some way)
Again if the Script (normally written with a upper case S) is not perfect it can cause problems.

  • Receive error: "A script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player to run slowly..." Firefox problem? Adobe problem? Malware?

While browsing a variety of site, while running no movies at all, I receive the following message:"A script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?" I click "ok", error message disappears. minutes later, error message re-appears.
I've removed Adobe Flash, cleaned registry, rebooted, all to no avail.

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

You can check for problems with current Flash plugin versions and try these:
*disable a possible RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin extension for Firefox and update the RealPlayer if installed
*disable protected mode in Flash 11.3 and later
*disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

  • Why is this weird graph plaguing my Flash slideshows?

    Hi there,
I have a variety of slideshows that are operated by Adobe Flash featured on my Smugmug website, which in turn feature my photo galleries.  A few days ago, this weird moving graph showed up on my gallery slideshows and apparently it remains unseen to all except me on my Mac.  I've asked for help in the Smugmug forum, run virus scans, uninstalled & reinstalled the latest version of Adobe Flash, and it still shows up.  If someone could please take a look at the attached screen capture, that'd be wonderful.  If you'd like to check out the original site, you can at: http://www.jlauren.smugmug.com/gallery/7588520_2K2xt

I just finished downloading ClamXav from the App store.  I have a separate box dealing with FlashPlayerInstallManager.log!   Why is this app trying to install Flash Player on my Mac?
It is not trying to install Flash Player. Since you haven't described exactly what you were doing when you observed this "separate box" I'll guess that you had used either the Open Scan Log or Open Update Log, both of which open the appropriate log file in the Console app and that for whatever reason an old log associated with FlashPlayerInstallManager was already open. You can verify this by checking to see what appliccation is in the foreground indicated by the menu immediately to the left of the Apple menu. If it says Console, then that explains that. The window with the mystery log file should have two columns. The right column contains the contents of the log. There will probably be dates included which will tell you when that took place. The left column should have the name of the log highlighted. If there is no left column, click the button at the top of the window that says "Show Log List."
Flash Player itself is spyware and malware.
No it isn't, it's buggy plug-in software for your web browser from Adobe. You should only download it from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ or allow it to update itself. A new update was just released a day or two ago and Apple blocked the use of any older versions yesterday. There were Trojans disquised as FlashPlayer installers over a year ago, so perhaps that is what you are thinking about.
For faster, more efficient help with ClamXav in the future I recommend you come to the ClamXav Forum.

  • Would it be possible to flash an nvidia geforce 8800 gtx

I know a flashed 7800 gtx is available for a late g5, but wondering if an 8800 gtx can be flashed to do the same.

Not possible to flash because there's no open firmware image to flash with. You'd have to write the FCode from scratch. And since the 8800 is a different generation from the 7800 for which a rom image is available, the changes in the rom will very likely be non-trivial (i.e. not just changing some ids).
However, I've recently read that the hackintosh folks are using so called Injectors in order to use normal PC cards without EFI firmware. As far as I understand, the situation is very similar to using a PC card in a g5. You'd lose the OF screens, but once the OS X driver gets control, it should be business as usual. I'd be interested in hearing whether anyone has pursued this strategy on the ppc macs?

  • Why am I and my Flash app users continuously bombared with "A script in this movie is causing Macromedia Flash Player-"

I'm experiencing a severe backlash from users of Flash
applications due to the frustration generated from encountering a
continuous bombardment of messages during the intialization of
    Flash applications that reads:
"A script in this movie is causing Macromedia Flash Player 8
to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become
unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?"
What's worse is there are only two, very limited options for
users. The first is to continue on and the second is to simply
abandon the app and apparently forget about trying to accomplish
whatever it was you were accessing the application for. I'm going
to continue scouring Live Docs, Google, etc and hopefully I'll be
able to post my own answer soon. In the meantime, any input on the
    matter would be VERY welcome.
Can anyone shed some light on this please?

You're saying "users of Flash applications." Do you mean
    *all* Flash
    applications? Or just one?

You don't have to scour very far. This message occurs when
    something
inside a given SWF file is poorly written -- perhaps an
    infinitely recursing
function, perhaps some other un-optimized looping or an
    incredible amount of
unchecked math operations. But this certainly isn't something
    that just
    happens.
Can you nail this to one particular file? If so, the
    developer of that
file needs to start troubleshooting her/her own code.

i connected my laptop to the tv and it has worked before. this time only the laptop flashes the blue screen and the tv is saying no signal. when i tried to check the dispaly arrangement it says this:The Arrangement tab of Displays preferences is hidden because you only have a single display attached to this computer.

It is not properly connected to the network.
Make sure location is set correctly
DNS should be on auto (settings - general - network)
    Try ethernet
Signal strength on device won't account for issues, you would need a network report from istumbler, netstumbler or similar. This will show accurate signal strength along with noise and nearby networks

    Micky,
The iTunes Store sells songs in AAC format.  Most Android phones can play AACs.  Just sync them to your phone per the instructions with the phone.
If by any chance your phone does require MP3 format, you can use iTunes to convert the files, per this guide:
iTunes: How to convert a song to a different file format - Apple Support
(This conversion does not require burning.)
For future reference, note that the iTunes Store is really optimized for people using Apple devices.  You might find it more convenient to buy music in Mp3 format from Amazon Digital Music or Google Play Music.
