Is this person invisable and what is ths arrow on chat? Anyone know?
This friend of mine is invisable on chat, what is this arrow to the right of the name? And why can i still click it and open itunes of he is invisible.

I cannot say.
I have 197 Buddies in my main List, including the On-Line and Off-Line Buddies.
Of these at this moment only one is showing the arrow.
This is also linked to the Message they have up which in fact is a web Address and not an iTunes Song thing.
I have seen it against a Name before when they were showing no Status Message or even iTunes info as the Message.
Clicking it at the time did launch iTunes and took me to an artist of the same surname.
That Buddy is Off Line at present - In fact I cannot precisely recall when I did see them On line last.
They do not show the Arrow at the moment.
The Link does work for the URL that is the only active arrow I have at the moment.
None of My Off-Line Buddies show me an Arrow of any sort.
IF you mouse over a Buddy you normally get a bigger version of their Buddy pic and info showing their Screen Name.
With Away Buddies (red Blobs) you can see how long they have been Idle which does not normally show up in iChat
On this particular Buddy do you see any other info ?
You normally only get Screen Name as extra in with Off-Line Buddies.

The app store always gives you the option to use a previous version of the app IF it is available for your device.

Dear Apple team,
I recently bought an iphone3GS from USA and jail broke it. Since I heard the there are lots of disadvantages I thought to unlock it officially through the original owner (in copy). He assisted me and confirmed that he unlocked it with AT& T (See the attachment). According to the instructions I restored the phone. But it is not activating with “Activation server is currently not available, please try again or try with iTunes”
When I try with iTunes , it says “you haven’t inserted a SIM” even though I insert the original AT&T SIM.
My current location is Sri Lanka ,so don’t have any apple support.
Please help me to be a good fan of apple. -
The drop down view by menu (Song, album, etc) at the right side of the iTunes window is like a ghost. It flashes into view for a millisecond once in awhile but never lets me click on it. Anyone know what this is about and what to do?
Short answer:
Click Hide Song(s), it is what you wanted to do...
Long answer:
iTunes in the Cloud is a feature of your iTunes store account that allows you to redownload or stream your past purchases. When you delete a purchased track that is downloaded to your computer (like the first one shown here) you are asked if you also want to hide the song from iCloud. This would remove it from the computer and also stop it showing up with the iCloud symbol as the other tracks from that album (which are not downloaded) do.
If a track shows with the cloud symbol you can play (stream) it by double-clicking the title, or click the cloud symbol to download a local copy to your library. If you try to delete one of these tracks you get a slightly different message confirming that you want to hide the track. Clicking hide will remove the listing from the library and any other device that shows your past purchases.
Should you want to retrieve any item hidden in this way at a later date use Store > View My Account > iTunes in the Cloud > Hidden Purchases > Manage.
To hide all your previous purchases that are not downloaded to your computer use Edit > Preferences > Store and untick Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases.

I have purchased two audiobooks from iTunes. They play perfectly for about 13 minutes and then abruptly stop. I have purchased other audiobooks and have not had a problem. Please, any ideas on why this is happening and what can I do to fix it. Thanks!
As long as you use your computer like King Penguin stated for Report a Problem, you should be fine. If you can't get to your computer, are not using your computer, or your computer is not longer in the mix since you have been using your iPad, email iTunes support about the problem.

I have what looked like a small bug that ran up and down the screen and then sudenly stopped in center upper half of screen and now appears to be burned in to the inside of the screen, anyone had this probelm before and what can be done about it?
Thanks for the suggestion, the next step was to call Apple, who gave me a claim number, which I discovered you must have to get anything done with them. They refered me to a Apple store or repair center, after some reseach took it to the Computer Store in Mobile, Alabama and they were excellent. They took pictures of the screen with bug submitted it to Apple who denied the claim but they kept kicking it up to the next level and finally Apple agreed to sent new cover. The Computer Store had the cover the next day, they changed it out and now I am bug free. If your in the area of Mobile Alabama you can feel good about getting help from the Computer Store. For the two folks that responded to my note, Thank You, good comments and good advice.

Normally an Elements license is valid for both Windows and Mac systems. So you might only need to download the Mac versions of the applications and use your serial number to activate them.

The iPhone has a hardware problem - with the battery or something else.
The iPhone includes a one year warranty. If purchased new in October of 2012, it remains under warranty. Call AppleCare or make an appointment at an Apple Store if there is one nearby. -

It sounds like your PC or Mac's internal HD is full. You need to delete some data or move it to an external hard drive or storage device of some sort before you'll be able to successfully complete the restore.

The ios8 update is causing innumerable problems with my ipad. The info from my calendar just disappeared, I am typing blind with the keyboard most of the time, and I cannot upload pics or paste to FB. When will this be fixed and what can I do in the Meantime?
