evenin all,
me and a group of fellow students are setting up an online java tutorial (coz its never been done B4) but i was wondering if, on the web site i could have a blank text box where students write the code in the tutorial, and at the bottom there was a button that said compile, the text field would compile the code and give you back the errors if there is any.
in other words can i have the javac comant writen in to a webpage?
i only want to know if its possiable i don't want to waste my time trying to do something that is impossibable.

Snow Leopard is back on the online Apple Store, at least in some countries. In the US:

If they no longer have it available, you'll need to look to private sellers, and the prices are rising quickly. If you buy from a private seller, make sure you get the retail disk set (white label with a picture of a Snow Leopard), not the system disks from another model of Mac (grey label).
Once you get the disk, install the OS and run Software Update to get to the latest version of 10.6 and iTunes. You should then be able to sync.

I am a coach and are wanting to make sharing videos with my coaches easy. Can i create an icloud account and attach 4 coaches to that i cloud accout so they recive the uploaded video to thier phones also?

We are all iphone and ipad users and would like to share videos over icloud. Idealy i would like to create a team icloud account and giver permission to the coaching staff and players. I could upload game film to the cloud and it would share to thier devices. Is this possiable with the icloud?

iCloud video sharing is limited to 5 minute clips, there are better ways of sharing longer clips, such as YouTube or DropBox.

Possiable to burn a MP3 CD of I-Tunes?

I am getting a boombox that will play MP3 cds along with regular cds. And Im wanting to make a MP3 cd of songs that I got in itunes.I have a couple already that I made from cds that I own.But would like to try to make one of songs that I bought from itunes.Is this possiable? I do have them all backed up on cds and dvds.Thank-You

I found a way but its kind of a pain as I have to type the Name of the song and artist in my self. I used Musicmatch jukebox and put in one of my audio cds that I burned off itunes that had songs that I bought from itunes. Its kinda slow but it will do.Afterwards I had to go find them in my music folder and moved them .

720p vs 1080

I have various qt's some in 720p some in 1080i , I have to edit them on one timeline and deliver to the broadcaster for transmission, would...
a. is this possiable on one timeline (do i open a 1920 x 1080 timeline and then edit the 720 in that ?) would somehow the timeline resize the 720 to 1080 ? or is it not possiable? or should I tell all producers to dleiver in either 720 or 1080?
b. I then have to deliver it as a qt to the broadcaster from them to play off avid , what would be the best qt to deliver for avid?

What is the broadcaster asking for RDA? 720 or 1080, interlaced or progressive (or SD)? If interlaced delivery then my personal preference is not to intercut progressive footage in an otherwise interlaced edit ... better to work all progressive. Or if your 720p footage is double frame rate (ie 50/60p) then you can use the free JES Deinterlacer app to create good 1080i (50/60i) from your 720 source which would cut well with the native 1080i footage.
To answer your specific questions tho:
a) Yes, technically you can throw it all on one timeline and FCP will handle any resizing needed accordingly. 1080i in a 720p timeline will need to be deinterlaced tho, and 720p in a 1080i timeline will look progressive regardless.
b) Use ProRes 422.

The example you have above is two strings, not one.

reference of forein key idsI can only guess that you want to retrieve the primary key from the first insertion and use it in the second insertion. Some databases allow that. The syntax depends on your database. You can use the gui tool that comes with your database along with the documentation for your database to determine how to do that.

Prior to the release of the G5 iMac with iSight model, previous models/versions of the G5 iMac were VESA compliant and you could buy an VESA mount adapter to hang it on a wall. That part according to apples website is not compatible with the G5 with iSight, so I would have to assume that it is not compatible with the new intel version of the iMac, which mimics the design of the G5 with iSight.
Since earlier versions could be hung on the wall, the stand was removable. Not sure what that says about the current versions.

I have just finished implementating the service desk for a large company. This company has 5 operating divisions and each division has their own support personal. I have also implemented workcenters. I am now trying to setup the service desk in such a way that each opertaing division can only view the messages that are created for their systems. They must not be able to see the messages from all the other divisions. I would also like to specify some sort of access control for projects as well. Where by each operating division can only see the projects for their division. Is this possiable and if so can someone please explain how one goes about doing this.

Hi Santaosh,
Access to projects can be controlled through roles. There is an object for project names. I've seen it done where each divisions projects will start with a certain letter and the object value is for example A*. Then the user can see all projects that start with the letter A. You can also just have a role for each project and assign that role to users when a new project is created. This requires a bit work everytime a project is created, but it is more flexible.
For support messages you create a display variant where the support team field is set to a certain team value. Then you assign a transaction to this display variant. To see there queue they go to the custom transaction and you take away access to CRM_DNO_MONITOR. This way they only see their messages in the queue. I think they can still open the other support teams messages if they entered the support ticket number in directly. This may be able to be controlled with roles as well, but it would need some investigating.

If ctzapxx.exe method didn't work either for you, have you tried 'forced' driver installation yet? If not here is what you can do.
NOTE: THIS METHOD DOES NOT WORK W/ ALL DRIVER PACKAGES, BECAUSE OF THE USED INSTALLER IS NOT THE SAME (ctcomp.dat is not available on those)

The reason i said this should be a sticky is that these boards move so fast that its impossiable for new comers to keep up with threads that have AWESOME tips that may or may not help but how many of us have accually gone through every post in the last 60 days to try and find a fix? I know I have not, but in the end you need to try everything you can.
Something like this is not on the Creative FAQ data base so the only people to know about this possiable fix are the few who catch it in time.
In my experience there is ALWAYS more than way to do things and 0 ways to get it to work with 20 other methods to run it. Thats a lot of ways to do the one thing. So unless we have a huge data base with every possiable fix,method or forceiable way to do something then more and more people will get really upset that Creative offer no help.
Take the way Creative say to un-install drivers, man, this for the most part never works, so something like this may be the only way to get it to work for some people.
What I do is though, I copy a thread like this one and will pass it on to others if need be. Ofcause with all credit to the original poster and I never pass it off as my fix and/work.
I I like to cover every possiable aspect to do something. Ya know what i mean

Yes it's possible to sync music back from a iPod back into iTunes that (I assume) wasn't purchased on the iTunes Store.
Apple allows iTunes Store purchases on devices to be reversed back into iTunes, just not cd rips and stuff like that. For that it's a one way trip to the device from iTunes.
I likely can't suggest such software here, but if you visit iLounge you can ask what is the latest software that works for your platform.
Really it only takes a mere few minutes to backup your iTunes Library and stick in a few cd/dvd's or a external drive. iTunes even has a menu command for it to make it oh so simple. Please use it and backup all your data.
Hard drives fail, computers burn up, thieves steal, stuff gets forgotten. Plan for something happening because it will.

Not sure what you are trying to do here, but char is a primitive not an object. You need to build a string from you privlege array to go there.

Snow Leopard Server with Lion Server for APNS

Hello Everyone,
I'm wanting to keep my Snow Leopard Server (Xserve) setup in place its working great, and cant afford to have any down time on the company network. What I would like to do is setup up an additional Mac Mini with Lion server to handel just the APNS. Is this possiable.
I would be running all of the services, mail, OD, addressbook, caladar, on the Snow leopard server but want to use Lion Server to push out and manage some Lion clients, and iPhone with a second server has anyone done this, can this setup work?

Apart from making sure DNS is configured correctly - as always - there's not much else you need to know. Server has to be configured as an OD Master. It does work with the default self-signed certificate although Apple do recommend you purchase one from a CA such as Verisign. I mention Verisign because it's trusted by the US Government. Once you've got your push notification certificate from Apple, enable the relevant option in the Server App. From there create the enrolment profile and key in the relevant url in your IOS device. The rest is fairly obvious. If DNS is not properly configured for your network this part probably will fail.

AFAIK Server Admin is not involved with APNS.

This was on a publicly accessible server that was its own OD Master. Provided things are configured correctly I can't see why it can't work with an environment that's behind NAT.

Apart from making sure DNS is configured properly as well as the tip regarding trusted certificates I can't think of anything else? From what I've seen MDM in Lion Server is very good and what's more quick on the devices I tested. I only tested IOS devices and testing was done 'over the air.' You can still use the ICPU assuming you kept a copy of the download?
