I upgrade from an Auigy 2 Platinum for a PCI Express X-Fi Titanium Fatalty Pro Series. Now, I am unable to use 5. surround sound on my also Creative Labs speakers. The reason is that the card does not have an additional /8? mini jack to be use for the head set or 5. speakers. ?Apparently, none of the bright minds at Creative though of this potential problem.

?Of course, I?d always purchase the I/O dri've upgrade, but spending $80.00 on a front bay panel that does not even include a remote control is trully a waste of money in my opinion.

?I?ve been thinking in buying one of this ?link posted below- cable or something similar in order to get around this problem. Therefore, before making my purchasing decision, I?d like to know anyone else?s idea or whether or not this would work.

You are welcome. I looked to see what worked best on my system and went through many driver iterations. I downloaded Microsoft versions, Creative CDs, etc and found that nothing worked. I finally found the best blend that worked for my system which included the Dan K. driver pack plus the newest Creative driver overlaid on top of that. That worked best for me. Ask any other "super contributor" if I have not posted this dozens of time, dozens.......Get the Dan K. pack, use it on a freshly formatted system, Overlay the newest Creative driver. That is it. Why does mine work and yours does not? Because I dont come here and stomp my feet , expect somebody to guess what is inside my system or read my mind. I have posted and will do so again now......
I use Dan K. driver pack 2.0
Newest Creative x-fi Titanium driver (yes Titanium driver) and both my X-fi Titanium and X-fi PCI-regular Fatality Plantinum. ?
(I know the driver is for? a PCI express card but it works for PCI-regular)? I have posted this a dozen times too.

WebCenter 11g Ps3 Tutorial: need your input

I am starting a little new project. The idea is to build a hands on tutorial about webcenter ps3. In the tutorial you will build a complete webcenter portal from scratch. I will explain every single line of code we will write. We will start with a regular webcenter portal application and build from there on so no pre build application were we only do a few modification. Everything will be explained from scratch.
By the end of the tutorial you should be able to build a fully portal by yourself.
I have an outline ready for the tutorial but i also want your input. If you guys want a topic covered in the tutorial, please let me know and i can consider it adding it to the tutorial.

Desire to replace my hard drive... need your input!

I have an almost 3 year old Powerbook and I am in need of more space. My 100 gig hard drive is being stretched thin by work and I tire of carrying around mutliple 4gig-80gig externals.
So I would love to put in a 160 gig hard drive to help simplify things (not to mention I was told it's not a horrible idea to replace a HD after 3 years) and throw my 100 in an external case as backup.
So I looked on Newegg and found a Western Digital for about $110 then I called my local Apple Authorized retailer (Firsttech, who I have generally had good experiences) to check on prices if I didn't want to do it myself.
The quoted me:
$180 for the drive
$125 for transfering everthing to the new drive
$125 for labor to replace the drive
This all seems a little steep to me. Can I get your guys thoughts on this?
I saw the forum post about how to replace the hard drive yourself and it looks do-able, but I have never dug into my Powerbook any further than RAM replacement.
What do you guys think?

Then you'll have a clone which can be moved into your internal.

No. Not Possible in Standard SAP.

Just check in Account Group setting, if you can make the required fields mandatory. The SAP IMG path is as under:

You will have give the logic to Abaper to check if the the billing document is released to accounting, then it should be excluded in 'Z' report & only include Those billing documents which are not released to accounts.
There is a standrad report also with Transaction Code: VFX3 Check if this servers the purpose.

If you refer to Proforma Invoice WRT Order, it will pick by default all the items in sales Order. This is Standard SAP. I suppose that Abap development may also not be helpful, as what logic will you provide to select the required items.

DX2 or Bionic - HELP everyone....need your input!!

I need some advice. I recently got upgraded from a DX to the DX2. THis was due to adding a line for my step daughter. I took it and gave her the DX.
Here's my predicament. I have about 2 weeks to left on the reurn policy from BB. The bionic came out last week and I and I'm in a internal battle on keeping the DX2 or moving to the Bionic. The other factor is that my plan is due for an upgrade first of next year. II could keep the DX2 or exchange it for the Bionic. Then possible get a "new" phone first of next year,
What would you do??

I can't believe nobody has advised you to get the Bionic yet. If it was me, and I had to pick between the two, I would pick the Bionic without any doubt. I think anybody with the Bionic would tell you the same thing. It is without a doubt the better phone.
Personnally, I'm either going to wait for the Samsung Droid Prime (Nexus Prime) on Verizon, or switch to AT&T and get the Samsung Galaxy S2. I don't think the Bionic is worth signing a two year contract for.

We have a class for our Oracle connection and query so any developper can use it. Now we need to launch a function before each sql statement for that we use the BEGIN - END. There's an example :
$sql = "BEGIN
web.web_context.set_session_username('mboisson');
select * from sam_thematiques;
END;";
Before we append the BEGIN END the SELECT * statement work perfectly. But now, each time we have this error : "ORA-06550: line 1, column 58: PLS-00428: an INTO clause is expected in this SELECT statement"
Does we absolutely need bind variable with BEGIN END or there's a workaround ?

The problem here is not a PHP problem, it's a general PL/SQL programming problem. Contrary to the popular belief, SQL and PL/SQL
are different animals. Granted, PL/SQL can execute SQL but PL/SQL is a procedural language. Procedural languages do not like unbounded
and uncontrolled streams of data, like an output from a query. In other words, this will not work:
SQL> connect scott/tiger

SQL> begin
2 select * from emp;
3 end;
4 /
select * from emp;
ERROR at line 2:
ORA-06550: line 2, column 1:

If you want to do something like "select * from emp" in PL/SQL, this is one possible method:

In PL/SQL you absoultely need "begin" and "end" statements because it's the language syntax.
You can, however execute 2 SQL statements:

You might try resetting your PRAM as well. Reboot the machine, holding down Option-Command-P-R as it restarts. Wait until you hear the chime a second time.

I need to generate report, if PO payment term not matched to vendor default payment term.
PO related fields are available in this datasource 2LIS_02_ITM , So I can load the data into 0PUR_O01 ODS.
Vendor related fields are available in this info object 0VENDOR_ATTR.
Now my question is how to combine these two and generate the non matched list of PO payment terms?

Midi gurus need your input please

Hey guys,
My question seems quite simple, but I'm just making sure I'm not doing something that's gonna cause issues.
The setup.
MOTU 828MkII (has 1 in 1 out midi)
M-Audio 88es controller (just midi out)
Mackie Universal Controller (1 each)
Mackie Extender controller (1 each)
Mackie C6 (1 each)
considering the above setup, I need to get them all hooked up right to Logic. Do I simply get a MOTU MIDI Express XT USB, or ????
Can I just daisy chain them? (out the m-daudio, into the MUC, out that to MEC, out that to MC6, out that to 828 which is connected via firewire to Mac) If so is there a drawback?
I'm not too up and up on how to best get midi hooked and performing right, so any help would be greatly appreciated. I just got the Mackie stuff, so I am a bit baffled by what the best way to connect things is. Mackie recommends some kind of Midi 'patch bay', but before I drop another couple hundred bucks wanted to make sure I needed to and am doing it right.

If you can find a used Unitor 8mk2.. get it. maybe there is one on ebay.
They work really well with Logic.
I also have a motu midi timepiece that works well.
Both have SMPTE ins.
The other guys are correct, you need a separate port for each piece of control surface.
So a multi-port midi interface is what is needed. The models I mantion have smpte (LTC) as well.

Need your input on how to handle "Practice" items in Captivate module

HI, I currently have short lessons in Captivate. I am using the TOC. The lessons have an introduction, content, conclusion and practice. How have you been handling the practice items?
I'd like users to take the practice. then I want them to go back to the practice to retake it. but i also want to track the results. so far i have set captivate to track results for the lms. i also set the questions to 2 tries. i have also allowed captivate to go backward in the test. the problem is that after the user answers the practice quetions once, and they go back, they see their answers and cannot change them. in the toc, they can't move back and forth in the practice section. i don't know what design strategy to use. a practice a just a practice and not an assessment where they can't change their answers. however, i'd like the lms to track their practice.
Any ideas?

I'm growing increasingly frustrated with the Captivate Quiz feature. I wish I did not have to use it. I want the quiz to act as a "practice" section where users can navigate freeley between questions and to interactive screens within the Captivate module. Currently, i can't do that. once you take the "practice" and you go back to "other parts of the module" we can't get back to the practice. THERE MUST BE A WAY TO FIX THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HT201302 I have a 4S Iphone and wish to transfer my photoes to my Windows 7 PC, but It wont work. I go to "computer" click on "import pictures and videos" but a window opens stating " No pictures or videos were found on this device". Need your help please

Just to add that my iphone is connected to my PC, the "Autoplay" box is seen, but again when I click on "import pictures and videos, using Windows" a window opens saying "No pictures or videos were found on this device".
