Hi there I Own a MSI 8800GT OC GFX Card I would like to know is this PSU enough to run my pc and GFX card I asked because all my games tend to stutter or jerk on Vista with all the driver versions ive tried so this is the PSU im currently using and the specs please let me know if its ok. If now recommend me a PSU from Coolermaster Range

I just ordered this PSU since my computer started doing strange stuff after I got a Geforce 4 card. It was doing random restarts, the mouse was freezing once in a while, my Lan card started working once, etc. I unhooked a hard drive and Cd player and all my fans and I seem ok till I get the PSU. You guys think this is a good power supply?

Exactly. I'm still using a 4 year old antec 300w psu (+3.3 14A, +5 30A, +12 8A) that is only 150w combined on 3.3/5. It's running a tbred XP1700@1791, Ultra2, 256MB samsung pc2700 at 170-aggressive, MSI ti4200 TD64@315/675, two 7200rpm harddrives (WD1600JB & Maxtor 54098U8), msi 48x16x48/ricoh 6x4x24 burners, 2 network cards, 4-80mm fans, and 1-60mm fan...along with the externals...2 game controllers(1 is usb), a steering wheel, joystick, wired optical mouse, natural keyboard, and a receiver to a wireless keyboard/mouse.
There has never been a single problem with it, and the psu never gets warm. Voltages are core:1.58-1.61(set to 1.6), 4.91-5.05, 11.96-12.04, and a steady 3.30. People make such a big deal out of wattage numbers. 420w "should" only be required if you plan on running like a bunch of extremely high power fans, a bunch of cold cathodes, 4 harddrives, etc... This system was unaffected when I was copying files over to a third harddrive.

I have recently purchased an MSI neo4 platinum SLI mobo with 3200+venice and OCZ rev2 platinum 2x512 DDR400 RAM with the sole purpose of getting a high OC with stock cooling.

this is a 500w PSU with 34A on the 12v rail, i have read many reviews that showed the PSU to be very good, the only probelm is that it has a 20pin ATX connector.
So do u think the mobo will have any problems running with a 20pin instead of 24pin connector? would using an adapter make a difference?
I havent recieved the parts yet, but i am getting worried that the 20pins would affect the OCing.
thxIf I were writing this review on sheer good looks the Ultra X-Connect would be a perfect 10, but we do have to factor in a few more things to add a bit of legitimacy to the whole thing. So let's start with the power supplies power capabilities, looking at one rail is all that is necessary and that is +12 @ 34A. This is enough horse power to operate any of the modern boards along with a top of the line video card and a few little extra tossed in for fun.
Now there is the stability factor, running two program for 30-minutes that both demanded 100% CPU utilization and the biggest swing in voltages was 0.17 volts. That is enough to convince me.
If there is one small area I would like to see addressed that is the inclusion of either 24-pin cable or including the 20-in to 24-pin jumper and not forcing the customer to purchase one since this can make for some very bad PR when someone comes home and finds out their new computer won't work without the proper cabling.
Otherwise...for that price...give it a go!!! -

Thanks in advanceStilup is right. Skimping on a power supply will only bring you more headaches than it's worth. Buy a Good brand name supply 400+ watts, and you will never run into tons of problems that others have, trying to run a hi power system with a $29.95 power supply. Every time you up the cpu ,you need more power. Bigger video card? more power. Add a drive? more power. If you buy a marginal supply in the beginning, you may get it to run your system, until you add something. I have seen hundreds of posts that when they finally divuge what the specs of thier supplys, it is painfully clear what the problem is. All my systems run at least a 400+watt supply with at least 220 combined watt. The exception to this rule, is True power supplys, that supply each single rail seperately ,so the combined thing doesn't apply. BD51

Sounds like it windows/PC. I have ran across that for the CDs that veterinarians provide for digital x-rays.

my laptop will not open iTunes, as it just says 'This version of iTunes has not been correctly localised for this language. Please run the English version'. I have not synconised my iPhone 5S or iPad 2 with iTunes for well over a year. I noticed the music which had previously been put into iTunes has dissappeared from my phone and iPad. I also want to remove some movies from my iPad and iPhone and there is no way I can do this without being able to manually sync with the Laptop which is running windows 7. Has anyone else come across this and please can you help? I am no expert in fact I know very little about the Laptop, it is my Husbands baby but he doesn't understand anything to do with Apple including iTunes. I will need any advise explained step by step please.

My Mail program is suddenly crashing and giving me the report-problem window. It did work great before this. I'm running 10.9 on a 13 inch Mac Airbook with 8 gb of ram and 1.8 Ghz chip. Any ideas what to do to get my mail program working again?

My iTunes will no longer download.
All of a sudden I get the message "This version of iTunes has not been correctly localized for this language. Please run the English version".
How do I fix this and run the English version again? .Start by trying to repair iTunes from the programs and features control panel.
Otherwise, for general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If you really want to roll back to 11.4 uninstall all iTunes/Apple components as described in the second box, restore the pre-upgrade version of the library as described in Empty/corrupt iTunes library after upgrade/crash, then download and install from one of these direct links:

I am trying to reinstall Windows (would not launch). I removed the partition and started over. I downloaded the support files and Windows 7 iso file to a USB drive. However, when I try to run the setup.exe program I get the message "this program cannot be run in DOS mode." I was successful before, what am I doing wrong this time?
Try a restart.
If that doesn't fix the problem, shut down the computer and then power it back up. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart by using the application unistaller. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don't do them all at once.

I have an Intel iMac running OSX 10.6.8. I would like to use Final Cut Pro 10.1. I know I need OSX 10.9 for this. Can I run both 10.6.8 and 10.9 on the iMac ? I do not want to convert completely to 10.9 because of my existing software. Thanks for any help
It would depend on how old your IMac is, how mush memory you have, it it can be upgraded by OWC, etc. I have a 2006 Macbook Pro and would NOT put Mavericks on it or espeacially FCP 10.1.1 on it because the most memory it can have is 4 GB. You need at least 8 GB to work with Final Cut Pro 10.1.1. IMHO.
I would try to find a copy of Final Cut Express perhaps.

I have iTunes running on my Windows8 desktop for some while with no problems. Yesterday I purchased a song, deleted a free game app. and upgraded to the most current version of iTunes. This morning I could not pull up iTunes, so I retored my iTunes to a setting two (2) days ago. Now, as soon as I try to start iTunes I get a message stating: This version of iTunes has not been correctly localized for this language. Please run the Enclish version OK. So I hit the OK button and nothing happens. Please help.

I upgraded the version of iTunes about a week ago but have not logged on since. when trying today I have received the following message -
"This version of iTunes has not been correctly localized for this language. Please run the English version".
I though I would try to update the version from the Apple site but to do so I have to log into iTunes which is the problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
