Hello, i am willing to buy Adobe photoshop cs5 extended and i came across a website that selling the product for usd 79,95. I am not sure if it is legal. and i wonder if buying and using this product is legal. I dont need the latest version of the program. it is important for me to pay a program for 1 time. Can't comment on that site. However, if at all, you want to pay for the product just once, would recommend you to go for PS CS6 that you can still get easily from Adobe.com Creative Suite 6

I found this website...
It seems too good to be true. The software is very cheap (download only) they claim it is all legal. Also they bare the Adobe Certified retailer logo on their website.
However when you call them it just goes to a voice mail of a woman , who sounds Chinese, saying all representatives are busy.
Seems fishy...but I have not found anything else about this company when doing basic google searchs. I am a poor movie maker and was thinking about purchasing software here as the discount is extreme.
Wanted to know what you all think?

Title includes "cheap oem software" which means that even IF the activation number you are given is legal, the software is supposed to be included with a computer and you will therefore most likely not receive any support
And, since I am not aware of Adobe doing OEM software for Premiere (could be and I just don't know) I do not think this site is selling legal software

Photoshop CS5 extended question

IS photoshop CS5 a program on its own... with 'extended' as a sort of.. add on to it?
so i mean like.. if you don't have CS5 standard, and you buy CS5-extended, will you be able to use it, or will u have to buy the standard version with it?
if not, then why is it that many sites are selling photoshop extended and such low prices.. around 1-400 pounds?

The Extended version has more features.

Wish I'd Seen This Site Before Buying

Wish I had seen this site before buying my laptop. Purchased it on Jan. 4 and sent it in for repairs on Feb. 2. Had had 3 different problems--2 with CD drive and the third and final was when the display backlight blew. HP has now extended the delivery date for the 3rd time and when you talk to the 1-800 service number, you get an "I don't know" attitude and we'll see what we can do. HP has had my laptop longer than I have and I think they should just send me a NEW (not reconditioned) laptop. They don't seem to have any parts on hand to fix my computer---probably are getting their paperwork together to file Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. You can bet I won't EVER buy another HP product. Thanks for letting me vent my anger!!!!

Got the card working 5 minutes ago and logged onto the server to play BF242. After less than 5 minutes the thing raped my ears again with another high pitched squeal. As I'm typing this I have proper tinitus.
I have removed the card and I'm getting a refund tomorrow. I'm also downloading the realtek drivers and going back to onboard sound. Might not be particularly good, but it works and doesn't make my ears bleed when it decides not to.

I buy adobe creative suite for teachers and students about one year ago but now i'm not longer a student. Can I still use this programs legally for commercial purposes or do I have to buy some upgrades or something like this? Please help

Wifi is wifi (generally) and you should be able to take your american bought device (presuming that's what you mean) to europe and get it online.
The biggest issue you may face is to make sure you have a plug adapter. Your power brick is rated for world wide power variances you'll just need an adapter to make the plug fit eurpoean plugs.

Have you had the opportunity to visit the store again? If so, were they able to rectify the $200 gift card problem, and unlock your phone? I completely agree with you, while it's great that the sales associate was helpful, the manager should have overseen the transaction to make things move along faster. HELP! Photoshop CS5 to CS5 Extended Install PROBLEM!

I had photoshop CS2 and Illustrator CS2 since they came out. I just recently (November of 2011)upgraded to Photoshop CS5 and Illustrator CS5, those installs went OK, I did forget my login info but a call to Adobe got that all figured out.
Now I only "Play" in photoshop and illustrator at home for my own entertainment, and really barely used the CS2, so I am still just a newbie playing around in photoshop and illustrator.
Anyways, after watching a bunch of Photoshop CS5 Videos, I realized that Photoshop had an "Extended" version with 3D I was unaware of. So I wanted the Extended version, I called Adobe and he said I was 37 days out on my Photoshop CS5, so all I could do now was Buy the Extended version or buy the Upgrade Extended version, since my CS2 was already used for the initial photoshop CS5 upgrade. But since I upgraded my Illustrator CS2 to CS5 a week later he said I could Return that if I wanted.
He brought that up in the convo, not I.
So I Bit the Bullet, AGAIN, and bought the Photoshop CS5 Extended Upgrade to Upgrade the Photoshop CS5 I had just upgraded too.
Let me say this, ALL are Legal Copies ALL Legit. (Before someone says anything about that.) CS5 Photoshop and CS5 Illustrator were bought from Amazon, by Amazon Not one of there outside sellers, and so was the Photoshop CS5 Extended Upgrade.
My Problem is, I cannot Install the Photoshop CS5 Extended? As I am installing it asks for the code, I type it in, then if has two photoshop things listed, one 64 bit and one 32 I believe. But also above them says "Already Installed" with a >! in a white dot. Hovering my mouse over it it says "If you select any of the below to install again it will be installed it the current file location."
I go through the Install and I still have the Regular Photoshop CS5 NOT the Extended Version???
Box and top of the DVD says Photoshop CS5 Extended on them. But the offered install files that are offered on it that say "Already Installed" above them in the installer , Neither one says anything about Extended just ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS5.1 ??
I went to Adobe and talked to a live chat guy but after he took my email and ALL of my serial #'s for ALL of my Photoshop products, had me try installing it again, and then just said I had to Call Adobe Tech. (That was Useless, they should just CLOSE the live chat thing if they can't do anything.)
Anyways, with NO Photoshop CS5 Extended getting installed on my PC Win7 64 bit I3 cpu with 8 gigs of ram, my Adobe Account on my "View Product Registration" Page it now Lists the serial # and info as of 1-1-2012 as having Registered my Photoshop Extended Version 12.0 with all my other registered Adobe software.
So HOW can I get the Extended to actually Install? I Opened the files on the DVD and really don't see anything that even says Extended on any?
I had Amazon OVERNIGHT this Photoshop CS5 Extended Upgrade to me so I could as Bert Monroy says, "Play, just Play it's the best way to Learn Photoshop." over the new years weekend, now I sit here frustrated instead.
Maybe I will email him, maybe he knows what to do, he has always replied to my emails and has Signed my Photoshop books authored by him. (Nice guy very helpful.)

In Help I clicked Deactivate and then see a pop up box with 2 choices, Suspend Activation or Deactivate Permanently.
I hit the Cancel button at the bottom for now.
If this don't work I will Call Adobe on Monday and hopefully get it all worked out, or I will be packing up Both CS5 Upgrades I just bought and send them both back to Amazon for a full Refund.
This should NOT be such a P.I.T.A. just because a few kids hack and use photoshop without actually paying for it.
I am 50 years old BTW, and Paid for my Legit copys, but I gotta jump through Hoops as punishment for a few who don't pay.
Myleniums answer sure sounds like a big pain in the a** to go through and I'd just Return the CS5 stuff, Including the CS5 Illustrator I just upgraded as well. As a Amazon Prime Member they will take it all back and refund me my cash.
As a rare user, just for myself at home, I only Upgraded because I knew Adobe only allowed you to get 3 versions behind before you had to rebuy the full install software all over again so I waited until I thought it was getting close to CS6 coming out and I would Not be able to upgrade at the upgrade pricing. And the CS6 Licensing I read about coming up does NOT appeal to me.
So CS2 or CS5 will be it for me and Adobe. As a Hobbiest I cant afford to do upgrades for each new version. /i heard starting with CS6 you will be Required to upgrade when the very next one comes out, not able to skip a version. Or even some silly monthly fee type thing, Never will I pay a Monthly fee for software use.

CS5 Extended Student/Teacher Trade?

I purchased the CS5 Extended Student/Teacher Version of Photoshop before the new release came out this year. I was never able to get it to work and very shortly after purchasing it, I lost the software box. I just recently recovered it and found that I bought the Windows version instead of Mac. (Big, huge slap to the forehead.)
Although the software has been opened, it has never been used, nor was it licensed (at least as far as I can recall). I was never able to get past the Photoshop folder when I attempted to download it. I purchased it from Amazon and have exceeded my return date. Is there ANY way that I can sell or trade it for the Mac version of the same software? Money is tight and I'd really hate to have to trash a perfectly good version. Any pointers?

You could buy the commercial upgrade to CS6, then sell that combined with your "qualifying" S&T CS5 version. That's pretty much the only legal way (things being that you would transfer a perfectly valid commercial CS6 license). Everything else would have to fall into a "friends & family" category, meaning if you were to give this to some nice or cousin it would probably also be okay. Under no circumstances, though, should you try to sell just the S&T version on eBay or whatever. It's only gonna end up in trouble for everyone.

CS5 turned into CS5 Extended?

I am trying to download the trial software for photoshop cs5, however, when I click on TRY, it directs me to the download page for photoshop cs5 extended. I tried downloading that anyway, but it said in the installation that i need to download photoshop cs5 first. I've tried again and again to download the photoshop cs5 but it's always directing me to the extended version! This is really bugging me and I can't wait to get going with photoshop. Please can someone help!?

I now use LR 3 and PSE 9 but think I want up grade to full CS 5 ... Checked the NAPP site, says go to Adobe.com and click try under CS 5.
I did, got extended afte having a wrestling match with logging in. The Akami thing seems to work and the download begins(1.4 G) but says PS 5 extended. I DO NOT WANT TO TRY OR BUY EXTENDED.

I've been working with an evaluation copy of Photoshop CS5 Extended. I decided to buy it; so I started researching prices. I went to Buy.com, where they advertise the product for $399 (Adobe Photoshop CS5 v.12.0 Extended, Complete Product, Standard, 1 User, Retail, PC, Universal English Brand New Factory Sealed Full Retail Version). Note: This is the complete product, not the upgrade. The seller, dealsaleonline.com is highly rated on StoreRatings.org. Compare that price to $895 or $825 from Amazon. I'm reminded that if something seems too good to be true, it probably isn't true. Does anyone know about "deals" on PS? Is there anything to watch out for? Any info would be much appreciated.

couple things to mention.
Those 100% Guaranteed things. Have you ever tried to make them honor one or even search on how easy it is, they can take weeks or even months to get your money back. All the while you are out your money and still don't have your software.
You can be mad as Chris all you want, the fact remains that if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is. I know first hand, twice when trying to buy my software i looked at better then expected deals from reputable site and reputable venders with good ratings, i was lucky and they did not fight me and returned my money.
There is a massive massive piracy operation of CS5 in china. They are boxed sealed have all the expected internal documentation inside the boxes but they are 100% fake copies.
they will install and they will work till you try to register them and then you find out they are fake. Then you will find out that the install is actually adding things to your computer to prevent you from connecting to adobe's site via the web, who knows if they added other tidbits into your PC as well.
Just know its your money, you want to take that risk then go for it, if you see it being shipped from China.. worry.

Installing Photoshop CS5 Extended Student & Teacher

I've just ordered Photosop CS5 Extended Student & Teacher, I want to know how many times I can install from the one cd because I'm worried that my laptop may "die" and then I'll have to buy a whole new copy of Photoshop.
