Is this a real email from Apple and if yes what does it mean ?
I don't know by wich way I can send transmit this information to Apple, so I use this forum to do it. It's maybe a mistake but it is not clear on the Apple website where this kind of information can be found !
Thank you for your answer
Eric Weber

Someone with an Apple ID similar to yours mistyped his ID. Of course, his password didn't work, so he hit the I-forgot-my-password button. Since he was typing your ID, you get the e-mailed instructions.

what's the range of this new router from apple?

One, it would help to specifiy which specific model/device.
Two, reading the specs page for the device likely would answer the question.
Three, what in the heck does this have to do with iTunes for Windows, the forum to which this silly question was posted?

  • HT204088 I have purchases on my iTunes account that are not mine. Where could this be coming from?

I keep getting charged for purchases that are not mine. I don't know where they are coming from and I checked my childrens accounts. Where could they be coming from?

    Hello there duxmania,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!
I have a couple of recommendations for you here. First for the purchases that you did not authorize, I would reach out to the iTunes store support directly.
How to report an issue with your iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store, or iBooks Store purchase
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1933
Find the email receipt for your purchase.
Click Report a Problem under the app that is having the issue.
When prompted, enter the Apple ID and password you used to purchase the item, then click Report a Problem.
Click Report a Problem next to the item you are having an issue with.
From the Choose Problem dropdown menu, choose the appropriate issue.
Follow the onscreen instructions and—if prompted—type a description of the problem into the text field.
Click Submit to have your issue reviewed.
You may also want to change your Apple ID password.

  • Beep noise coming from apple tv

There is a semi-periodic beep sound coming from the apple tv while in operation. Does anyone have an idea of what could be causing this?

Aside from the fan, there should be no noises emanating from a retina MBP.  Your MBP comes with a warranty.  By all means take advantage of it and make an appointment at an Apple store genius bar.
    Ciao.

  • HT5622 How can I verify if an email is truly coming from Apple?

I'm receiving various emails which I think are not from Apple but they look like....the sender is: Apple@appleES_account.js.com and they ask to verify my account icloud because someone has tried to connect with another ip address... there is a link to a page in which I should insert my username, pwd, credit car number, etc..
Then I enter in icloud and I do not see anything strange, not alerts, nor invites to verify...
The look and feel of the email I'm receiving is quite strange...
How can I verify id Apple is really sending me the messages?
    Thanks,

    Welcome to the Apple Community.

  • I just bought my macbook and ever 15 minutes there like bubble sound coming from my macbook which is very annoying and I don't know where this sound coming from?

every once in a whiel, randomly, my macbook retnia display which I just purcheased will make a weird bubble sound. it's not the sound that it makes when you send a text message, it's some other sound.
but it happens randomly. i can't figure out what's triggering it. and nothing happens when it makes this sound. the screen doesn't turn back on, i get no notification, no text, no email, no messages from anything, nothing from any of my apps
i have no idea what this random sound is. does anyone have any idea what this is or what it means?

If you just purchaed it, you are still under warranty, (for 1 year) take it in and have it checked out. This is probably just a setting, but your desciption is difficult to follow.
You are still under warranty, take advantage of it!
Do you have any reminders set?

  • I get a repeated dialogue box saying that "Account expired, Renew prescription now to resume service," but nothing as to where this is coming from!

Every few days I get a small dialogue box saying "Account expired...Renew subscription now to resume service" and there is a Renew Subscription button. There is NOTHING noting what the account is or even the 3 buttons at the top left (Delete, Minimize or Expand). They come up and collect every 3 or 4 days and I have to move them off to the side. The only way to make them disappear altogether is to restart the computer.

    Hello,
'''Try Firefox Safe Mode''' to see if the problem goes away. Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.
''(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)''
    * You can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the '''Shift''' key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
    * Or open the Help menu and click on the '''Restart with Add-ons Disabled...''' menu item while Firefox is running.
''Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"''
'''''If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode''''', your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] article for that.
''To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.''

  • I bought an ipad 3 and at the back of the ipad got only the apple logo and no other information like serial number or where it was designed or manufactured.Could this still be from apple or fake

Many Ipad im seeing has the Apple logo and other informations at the back of the Ipad but mine comes with just the Apple logo at the center of the back and no other information given underneath.Could this still be a real one from Aple or fake because mine only have the Apple logo at the back

As fas as. I know, all iPads should have a serial number on the back of the device. Even refurbs that have a new or replaced back should have a serial and model number engraved on it. I would tend to think that you got a bootleg device.

  • So my iPod touch 4g 8gb cracked the other day. This is my SECOND iPod, receiving this one free from apple. I know there is no chance for gettin free again, but what does the repair price(100$ online) replace OR repair? Because i see some say 150$.

  • Yosemite is a SHAME coming from Apple

I've been a long user of apple products since 2010. Always have enjoyed the stabilities on those devices where i do not need to care about losing files, getting viruses, and lately do not even fear anymore about losing my device should that ever happen because of the interesting feature of "find my phone or mac whatever".
Lately i've been very busy with work, and i couldn't try the beta version of yosemite, but i would read about the evolution of this so call "most advanced os on earth" (the most advanced shame on earth actually) from time to time. When the OSX went live a couple of days ago, i trusted that popular phrase "IT JUST WORKS" only to figure out after a painful installation that "it just break". ****, i installed the new osx on my main drive right from the app store, the next thing i notice was auto cad crashing right after opening. That's fine, certainly, autocad is not yet updated for yosemite, but what about finder? it seems like it's created to freez whenever computer is on more than 2h. What about the wifi? suddenly, my macbook pro won't connect anymore to the wifi it used to get connected to for years. What about that out of nowhere heating making the fan speeding with no end? Some times, the computer freez and the only thing to do is to force reboot the entire computer causing me to loose whatever i was working on. When i though i leaved those nightmares behind me by leaving the windows boat years ago, Apple has proved me wrong these days and this is an insult not to me alone but to every other having hard time with their devices.
Apple, i would sue you for the damage your new osx has caused to me recently, you should be feel lucky that i can't because i don't have money to get into suing you. I deeply regretted ever installed that new osx of yours, i should never have done that, at least not at this early age of that osx. months ago it was ios 8, today is osx, what's your next plan to frustrate me again?
Why do you make os free for user only to lower the quality of the os? what have went wrong with you since? I'm willing to send money to purchase os that work stay out of those old fears windows gave, but if you decide to make os free, make sure that the quality of the os is as much as advance and stable, it's very important for me to know i can count on my computer and not fear an app or computer freez when doing ppt i've being doing with my computer for years.
You know what Apple... you are just like every other companies out there, you really have changed a lot and have join the crap boat to feed us with crap. What a pity.
I deserve you to introduce an update very soon to fix up all these bugs on my computer. Consider yourself lucky that i can't sue, i beleive some one out there will take that initiative soon so you will understand that you have no right to feed us with stabilities for years only to start destroying our hard wired enjoyment over those stabilities.
    Sincerely Ariel Babalao.

    Through your rant, I can honestly say that it sounds like you;
    1. Installed a brand new OS without investigating on whether or not it was compatible with your software. Upgrading to  new OS as soon as it comes out should never happen to machines in a professional productions setting. Wait at LEAST until the first update.
    2. Your Mac heating up more (Yosemite uses some more resources) and eventually freezing sounds like you have some issues that need to be taken care of. Things that threats of suing will certainly never fix...
    3. Apple is the only major computer company that I now of that offers free face to face support for their products in their stores. Make an appointment with an Apple Genius?
    4. How old is your computer? Have you put new RAM in it recently (bad RAM)? What happens exactly when it "freezes"? etc, etc, etc...
You spent many paragraphs ranting without presenting any sort of information for which anyone could use to help you.

  • What is icloudzip ?coming from apple?mac osX 10.9.5,i am asking to remove certain apps from Icloud

...what the difference with <I cloud> and <I cloudzip>?(this last one appears without my will)

Glad to help. And keep in mind, nobody is born knowing this stuff.
Although the file was probably opened in Preview (which is the default), if you want Adobe Reader to always open pdf files instead of having Preview as the default, you can right click on a pdf file, Get Info, and in the middle of the panel is Open with: Choose Adobe Reader and then a "Change All..." button will appear. Click that and Reader will automatically open when you double click on a pdf file.
There are advantages to staying with Preview, and a few disadvantages too, but that's another story.

  • Spam from Apple??

Where can I report spam that 'appears' to be coming from Apple but obviously isn't.  They appear to have hijacked the Apple España email address and are using it to send me spam.  I'm sure Apple would like to know about this, and so I would like to know where I can forward these emails so that they are 'dealt' with..  Or at the very least so that Apple are aware.
    Thanks

  • Outlook 2010 Terminal Services; Error when sending mail "Content within this application coming... "About:Internet"

    Hi All,
We have Outlook 2010 running on Terminal Services for one of our clients. Frequently users experience an error when trying to send mail.  A message pops up stating the follow (sorry I cannot post pictures or links yet which would make this much easier)
"Content within this application coming from the website listed below is being blocked by Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration."    About:Internet
If I try to add this to the Trusted Sites zone it tells me that I have already done so.  All users are experiencing this issue. Not sure what can be done from our end to alleviate this problem.  Any advice?

Either remove this "About:Internet" or disable Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration on the terminal server:
To disable IE ESC for all users
Close all instances of Internet Explorer.
Click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click
    Server Manager.
If a User Account Control dialog box appears, click Continue.
Under Security Summary, click Configure IE ESC.
    Under Administrators, click Off (Recommended).
    Under Users, click Off (Recommended).
    Click OK.
    Worked for me. Thanks!

  • I changed my ID due to an email accessibility issue and I lost access to all my purchased music for the last few years.  Been browsing through the support area and it seems like everyone is saying I will have to rebuy everything.  Is this really true?

I changed my ID due to an email accessibility issue and I lost access to all my purchased music for the last few years.  Been browsing through the support area and it seems like everyone is saying I will have to rebuy everything.  Is this really true?
Apple has to be more user friendly than to let something like this happen, right?

Did you change the ID, or did you create a new Apple ID? If you had simply changed the ID then what I suggested above should work as the ID itself is the same (even though the name of the ID - the address - has changed).
However if you created a new ID, logged in with that, and purchased items on it, then you have two separate IDs each with purchased associated with them. You say that you can't log in to the original account with the 'alternate' email - have you tried logging in with the original email address? It doesn't matter if it doesn't actually work to receive mail, as far as logging in is concerned it's just a text string.
