I am overseas, so cannot call a Mac support line. I posted a question a few weeks ago and didn't get any responses. How can I get help????
I am trying to use Iweb, but my website won't publish. It just loads and loads and then finally quits. I don't get any messages or anything.
I have a Macbook 10.4.8

See that the mandatory SICF setting are enabled or Active in the SICF Services. Follow the steps as below:-
Enter the TCode SICF
Execute the same for Hierarchy Type SICF.
Check the following SAP Note 1295006.
If every thing is Active then, the IC Agent role will open.
Still if it is not opening Let me know.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. It will be slow, but maybe not as slow as you describe. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Since it has always been very basic to backup your computer and all it's data, Apple provides no way for you to transfer music from your iPhone back to your computer. As you know, you can re-download all iTunes purchases, but music that you ripped yourself you'll have to just re-rip again.
You can try and find 3rd party applications that might help you. I'm sure you'll pay, however.
Let this be a very important lesson learned.

When did Adobe decide to market a product that manifestly doesn't work? It should be so simple, but it's made so difficult. Even the process of getting help is a nightmare. How do I get a PDF converted?

How does anyone get a point over to Adobe? Not everyone needs or wants a bewildering range of product permutations. I bought the product to do just what it should - convert PDF to word. It worked once, I had the 'Welcome' email, and from then on, it's failed in every possible way. How many others using this forum have a similar experience?

Thanks for the help. I have been really trying hard on this and appreciate your help. I know that I have put at least 40 hours in trying to get a simple connection to a database with a c# program with VS2005. Something funny must be going on because I am sure that it shouldn't be this difficult.

Hey guys got another question for you.little bit of background first.When I first started college I was going for Mechanical Engineering Technology. So I picked a school that was well known for its MET program. Not a big school but they have one hell of a MET program. But then I got an internship that helped me realize that I didn't want to go into MET. While still in that internship I started talking to and helping the IT guys whenever my boss did not have assignments for me to do. So after that I realized that I wanted to do something with computers. Now I am going for a degree in Computer Science.My question is though.For a degree like CS does it matter where you get it from like Engineering degrees or are the degrees just pretty standard across the board? I have also heard that the degree itself is not that important and that certs...

There is nothing against asking many questions, but we regularly reject duplicate posts (or attempts at disguising them) from you, and the unresolved history is a symptom of this.
If you pull up your socks, then I am sure people will notice this and be more willing to help you.
Personally, I do a bit of a check on people (like Rob did) before I answer (if I can). If the person has what appears to be an attitude of disrespect for the rules (also known as "the sanctity of the forum...") then I usually don't make much effort.

I'm frustrated with the bookmarks. I so long to be able to right click on any bookmark and choose to have them in alphabet order. Would also like for the little icons to go away. Never been able to figure out how to do this the MAC way. Help.

After the release of Firefox 29, several people noticed that after using the Customize feature, most items on the right-click menu for the Bookmarks menu on the menu bar became ''grayed out'' and unusable until you closed and started Firefox back up again. That seems to still be a problem for me in Firefox 36.0.4, so if you used Customize, that could be the explanation.
You still should be able to click and drag bookmarks around the menu even with the broken right-click context menu.
And if it's easier than restarting, the context menu still works in the Bookmarks Sidebar (Ctrl+b to open/close) and Library dialog (Ctrl+Shift+b or "Show All Bookmarks").

ya so as the topic summary states, i am having issues and not
sure if i should be posting this in AS2 or AS3 or here, but
regardless, here's the stump:
so i have a photo album that is a layout of draggable objects
which works quite well. problem is that i want to make the image
(object) zoom in on press as well so that the end result is a
draggable photo that zooms simultaneously. i've had no issue on a
creating a rollover zoom OR a draggable object but combining the
two seems to cause me some serious frustrations. any clues or
advice in this direction would be great!

One note of caution: I and others have had problems with using the "background" apps that come with the package. Both compressing and expanding have always been flawless for me. I consider Stuffit a must have on my machines and have had had it since the late 1980's.

As Jeff mentioned, unfortunately, the info provided is incorrect. Most external hard drives do not have the ability to act as a host device. Meaning, when you plug your camera into a computer, it generally mounts the camera as a drive (or provides similar functionality). You then use your computer to pull the information from the camera. If you simply connect an external drive directly to the camera (as this solution suggests), there is no way to get the data from the camera to the drive. You can generally daisy chain firewire connections... meaning you can connect your camera to a firewire drive and if the firewire drive has multiple firewire ports, you can then connect the second port to a computer with firewire. This is not an option for you as you already know there is no firewire on the MacBook. There is some misconception that for external drives with multiple interfaces (firewire and USB and or eSATA) that you can connect a camera to the drives firewire interface and then connect the drive to your computer using the USB connection. Unfortunately, you can't daisy chain across different interfaces, the drive can only support data throughput through one interface at a time.
Still an external drive is good to have for backups, etc... but it is not a solution for your problem.

Try going into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > select the account > account name , tap on SMTP (under the 'Outgoing Mail Server' heading) and then tap on your Primary Server and try entering your email account and password and see if it then works

I am quite new to web-dynpro,I sincere apology if this doesn't make sense.
when I login into portal I see two selection options ,
a) Create a Material
b) View pending approval materials.
Now I am looking at the DC, there are two DC ,
a)Part Add and b) Parts approve .
in Part Add DC i can see a View addpart , here I can the selection of create a material only,
in the next DC i.e. part approve , there is a view which has the second selection screenView Pending approval materials as well the table the shows the output of 2 selection screen -> view approval materials.
Now My question is there is some type of visibility which makes the output table to be viewed on click of secon selection screen.
now when i run this How these two selection screens from two different views are seen.
and Now that when I click on the View Pending approval materials , it shows the list when I have a check box to th e very material list I click and hit on approve tab it approves.
I checked the view it has a table feild called "SELECT" it is a checkbox, but when the application is run i am unable to view this check box.
Now I checked with the selection button and checked it does visibilty on and off for many buttons and tables,apart from visibilty action it doesn't do anything.
I searched the whole coding the datacustom controller and everything i couldn't figure out from where this list got populated.
Please help in on these two issues.

Create a short cut as follows
1) On the vf02, standard tool bar there is an 'shortcut generate' icon will be there, click on it. you will get the screen where under 'Application', give the following details
Type: system command
command: /h
and click ok then there is a short cut created at your desktop
2) drag and drop the shortcut before clicking on print preview then debugging will starts
then you can able to debug the smartform
