Is Universal Crossgrade Still Available?

Does anyone know? I've been meaning to upgrade my PowerPC copies of Motion and DVDSP... I tried the crossgrade link and it doesn't seem to work anymore... I hope my procrastination didn't cost me...

Is the FCP crossgrade still available?

We just upgraded one of our systems to a Mac Pro from an older G4 setup. I looked all over the Apple site and can't find a place to buy the FCS1 crossgrade for Intel Macs. Is it sill available, or do I need to go all the way with FCS2?

The 2006 Crossgrade was excellent value, which wasn't all that obvious at the time to everyone, as not only did it allow the app to run on Intel, it also allowed a cheaper upgrade path beyond FCP 5.0.4. < </div>
Not to argue with you, buddy, I just think the importance of the crossgrade offer was obvious, well-publicized, thoroughly discussed everywhere that has any FCP relevance and a superb value, too. The fact that the offer was extended indicated the head-in-the-sand isolation of tens of thousands of pathetic go-it-alone FCP users.
I don't think the crossgrade offer reflected poorly upon Apple in the slightest.

FCP Universal Crossgrade - still waiting

I sent mine crossgrade form out 5 days ago, so I'm hoping they will come in soon. I tried to check the status of my crossgrade online but I don't appear to be in their systems yet.
Anyone have a number that I can reach a "person" to ask about the status? Opposed to the automated number on the form that has general information not concerning the Crossgrade.
It's not easy being left in the dark with my FCP cd's out there and my new MacBook Pro coming in next week. I need my disks!

Mine took awhile to be updated in their system and I sent the form and disc out via overnight service. I checked the tracking (shipment) information and saw that it had been received, but I was not on the website yet. It took about 3 days for my info to show up on the website, so you have to allow them sometime.
If you sent out your form and disc via standard service (5-7 days), add an additional 3 days for your info to post. Then another week after your status changes to shipped. It took about 2 weeks for me to get my discs from the day I sent the form to the day I received the package.

FCP Universal Crossgrade

DEEPLY unhappy. I own a Macbook Pro, live in the UK and want to get a universal version of FCP. I look on the website and get the only crossgrade form has a US address. We phone Apple UK to ask if there is a UK address. Answer; "no, you have to send it to the US." So we bundle up all our master disks and send them registered mail to the US. Three weeks later we get them back with a note saying "this offer is only available within the 50 United States"
erm...sorry? What the ****? Not very universal is it....

First, are you positive it is really not there? Have you looked in your iTunes folder in your Music folder, and in the media folders there? Do you see your media files?
If your media are gone it is a lot easier to restore from a proper computer backup. Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.

The problem is from all the 9 songs I've paid for, only 7 are still available from this list on my iPhone. There is no possibility to download the other 2 without paying for them. I've spoke to the lady from Mississippi on the phone 2 days ago from about 2 hours calling from Belgium but unfortunately she couldn't help me. It's the 3rd time I complain about this. How many time shall I pay for the same songs?? If you can access my music list and my past receipts payment you will be able to find out what I mean. I went back on iTunes I've found the the songs I already downloaded in October that should be on my playlist but if I click on them it will charge me again 0,99 cents. It's been 3 years I've been using the same apple ID with my iPhones. I just wand to get my songs back without having to pay them twice or 3 times

1. iTunes won't offer cloud downloads for songs that it "thinks" are in your library, even if it "knows" the files are missing. If you've exhaustively searched for the missing files and there is no prospect of repair by restoring to them to their original locations, or connecting to new ones, then delete that tracks that display both the missing exclamation mark and are of media kind Purchased/Protected AAC audio file. Don't hide from iTunes in the cloud when asked, close iTunes, then reopen. You can download from the cloud links or iTunes Store > Quicklinks > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer > All songs > Download all.
2. Why? Not sure, perhaps 3rd party tools or accidental key presses combined with previously hidden warning messages when trying to organize the library. There is a hint that using the feature to downsample media as it is synced to a device may also be involved, though I've not replicated it. Whatever the reason a backup would protect your media.

Unfortunately, not much to go on here. There are any of twenty different reasons why backups are not occurring, and no shortcuts that I know of to find out why.

It's not a 'process' at all.
If it was easy/straightforward, people would be turning store versions into iBA versions left/right and all **** would break loose. It's not and that's a good thing, sorry
Work up from whatever version you have.
Any work you value should be backed up....period. That backup should be used and tested regularly. Consider this a lesson learned, perhaps. Good luck in the future.

is the Resource Manager in Cloud Control 12c still available? The Resource Manager could be found in Grid Control 10g under the tab Database -> Administration.

Yes, in EM 12c you can navigate to the "Getting Started with Database Resource Manager" page by selecting Resource Manager from the Administration drop-down list in a database homepage. I believe, in EM 10g the Resource Manager link is in the Server tab.

The Sony RX100 III was first supported in Lightroom 5.5.
There will be no updates for older versions.
So your choices:
Upgrade to Lightroom 5, or
Download the free Adobe DNG converter, convert all Raw files from the RX100 III to DNG format then edit the DNGs in Lightroom 4.4
