Is using only 'date taken' date an option I missed
Where do the absurd dates come from? As far as I'm concerned the only 'must have' date for a photo is the date it's taken. It may also be nice for some to know when they modified it or imported into there library.
What I find is that I see to what my mind is impossible dates. Things like 'date modified' having a date earlier than 'date created'.
Do I have the option to just seeing the EXIF data 'date taken' & if necessary suppressing the other dates & if so how is this done? I'm using Windows 7 64 bit & all my photographic devises record EXIF dates.

In Organizer to see only EXIF dates, you can hide other date time fields (that is hide 'General' section and 'File properties' section under EXIF').

I have an iphone 5 and I am trying to manage my cellular data usage,
When I go into Settings - Cellular and I look at the "use cellular data for" option, there are only 2 apps on the list Facetime and Passbook.
I have seen other posts online that show a long list of apps that you can toggle Cellular data on and off.
How can I see a longer list of apps.In Settings/General/Restrictions if you tap on Cellular Data Use there should be 2 options: Allow Changes or Don't Allow Changes. If you don't see these options is that where you see "Cellular data is turned off for 'Setting'?
Do you have a corporate MS Exchange email account on your phone? If so your administrator may have added an override on this setting. -
Under Settings Cellular "use cellular data for" apps are missing from Iphone 4
After updating to IOS 7, my wife's iPhone 4 under the "use cellular data for" only has Passbook and System Services. My son's iphone 4 and my iPhone 4s DO HAVE this option avl. and show all our Apps.
Any ideas out there?

When using "Reset Safari" - some of the options were missing?
When I am finished surfing the net BUT before closing Safari, I would always choose the "RESET SAFARI" option to clear and tracks I may have left behind and to ensure any data that I put in was not stored. This morning when I attempted to use the "Reset Safari" feature (Safari -> Reset Safari), I noticed that four of the options were missing. 'Remove all webpage preview images', 'Reset all website notification warnings', 'Remove saved names and passwords', and 'Remove other autofill form text'. Where did they go ? How do I now execute these functions ? Why where they removed ? I am running Safari (6.1)
You do not have to worry about other items that were there previously.
I am happy that reset "User names and passwords" was removed.
Users used to reset that option inadvertently, resulting in need to renter that data
when they visit those sites again.

Calculate Total in Forms Builder using only dates.
I am using Oracle 10g forms builder. I need to know how the total number of hours worked by students. In the current database, only the date is saved since everyone assumes that the students work for 2 hours each day. So if a date is present in the student's record, that means the student worked for 2 hours for that date.
However,I don't know how to calculate the total number of hours. I tried using the COUNT() function from SQL and assigning it to a variable but it keeps giving me errors.

Hi everybody. Does any one know of a good tutorial or article on how to use the data merge option in INdesign cs5? I am makeing business cards for a large company and am looking to use date merge to populate all the names, phone numbers and email address. I have had limited success with using data merge to make single record layouts with one card per page. However every time I try to use the multiple record layout I run into isuues. One of which being the whole document moves down and to the left. I am sure it is something simple I am doing wrong but I am having trouble finding any good information on the subject. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks.fwiw, I find designing multiple up leads to more complications than it's worth. Unless you're going to be doing the final press run, you're effectively trying to impose these cards to early.
Consider doing the merge to a business card size document -
You won't have to meddle with the multiple records per page dilemna .
You can send proofs of the cards as designed at actual size.
You'll eliminate redundant stories and graphics. (The logo stays on the master page in my bcd files. You will have 10 - 100 + instances of the logo in you file. Thinking about it, I'd leave it out of the merge source doc and drop it in the final merged document on a master page)
Future runs are not going to entail the exact qty's and persons (99% certain on this).
Occasionally, not all the persons in company are going to receive the same number of cards initially; Sales staff may receive double the qty as HR and the shipping clerk.
You're not going to have crops marks for these cards. (You could merge 2 wide by 5 down to a 7 x 10 document and print that with crops or add crops after the merge of course.)
It's been a long time, but I'm not fond of grouping and picking apart stories and graphics for cards from a final imposed document for reprints. Rather, I have BCD files that have one page per person, and the source file or pdf proofs get imposed as needed.
Just my thoughts, I manage many business card documents.
This forum can get you over a standard merge document or a mutliple records per page doc in half a day. -
Why navigation bar or Flash options are missing?

You should be able to see two different tabs when setting up the email if you go to Other > Add Mail Account. Once you enter in the email address and password, you should be at the next screen to provide more details about the email as far as incoming and outgoing servers and at the top there will be a blue section to add it in as a POP or IMAP email account. It may help to force close all open apps and reset your iPhone.

If you still can't enable mobile data for your various apps, the next step would be to reinstall iOS on your device by placing it in Recovery Mode, then choosing Update in iTunes.
Make sure that you have iTunes 12 or later on your computer.
Put your device in recovery mode.
When you get the option to restore or update, select Update. This will reinstall iOS without erasing your data.

I have an ipad 3 with wifi feature only, can I use the data plan 3G in another country??
No. You have no place for a sim card in the WiFi only iPad. You MAY be able to purchase a personal MIFI hotspot that will work with a data plan in another country. I have one here in the U.S. that I bought through Verizon, but I assume it will only work on the Verizon network here with my Verizon Data Plan. So you would need a data plan in the country in which you want to use the iPad if this option is available for you.

I bought new i phone 5 3 days back, after that asked for new update which is 6.1.4, after updating my iphone i am not able to use cellular data services. I called up data provider, they says its the problem with new software update. There is no option add APN. Now when i switch to safari its showing you are not subscribed for cellular data. But I am able to use data on other phone.
Will you please help me in this regard?

I just got a new 5S. I have installed and used maybe 15 or so apps, but when I go to
Settings -> Cellular -> "Use cellular data for"
it only shows 5 apps: Calendar, FaceTime, Find iPhone, Passbook, & Skype.
I would like to see all the apps so that I can control what is using cellular data. When I read other posts online, it seems like this should show all apps. Does anybody have any idea why I only see a few apps here or what I can do to display all apps?

I read somewhere that in order to save data usage, there is an option in Settings ->Cellular to enable/disable some apps from working with Cellular Data, so I went ahead and disabled several of my apps. However, when I check again (sometimes I go back to the home page of Settings and straight back into Cellular), all of the apps I disabled are enabled to use Cellular Data again. iTunes is saying that I have over 4.78 GB under the category of "other", making it so my iPhone 4 can't add any data (music, apps, pictures, etc.). I'm currently using only 1.3 GB of storage on my iPhone, and the rest is "other". How do I fix this?

If DVD Movies, Audio CD's and even burning CD and DVD's are not supported, what is the point of DVD & CD Sharing then? Wouldn't it just be better to remote in or use a thumb drive if it's only able to be used for data transfer?
Or am I missing the bigger picture?As long as you have a Superdrive or an external burner/drive, burning, watching, installing, etc. from CD or DVD will work just fine. And so will sharing.
