Is Verity supported by Peopletools 8.53.08 again?

I just installed peoplesoft HCM 9.2(PT8.53.08).
I found it uses verity as search engine again.
Is it possible to use verity as search engine for PT8.53.04?

I believe there is some confusion on this subject.
Verity can still be used on the PeopleTools 8.53 layer.
PeopleSoft Applications 9.2 though uses SES technology for searches.
So I would stated that is still supported on the PeopleTools layer, but not used by the Application layer.

    Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
    (If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
    Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?
    If instead you get an error message during the install (or uninstall), let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

  • OEM10gR3 PeopleSoft Management agent support for PeopleTools 8.49?

    We migrated our PeopleSoft environment from PeopleTools 8.48 to PeopleSoft 8.49. We've successfuly installed OEM10gR3 on a Windows 2003 box and successfully installed the management agent on a RHEL 4.4 box running PeopleTools 8.49 and then installed the PeopleSoft Management Agent for OEM without error.
    When we try to "discover" the PeopleTools installation via the OEM console it comes back and says it has found a PeopleSoft installation, however, it will not add it to the console because it states the PeopleTools / PeopleSoft 8.49 is not supported. It looks like the the OEM PeopleSoft Management agent is supports PeopleTools up to v8.48.
    Is anybody aware of workaround / patch / solution to this issue?

    Almost the same problem here. Our PT is at 8.48, running on AIX. OEM10gR3 agent installed. When we try to run the discovery we get no PS_HOMEs found. We opened a support case with Oracle but have not gotten an answer yet.

    Are there any options for defining additional supported file types
    in Verity?

    After drive failure, I decided to install photoshopcc on my home pc.
    when I try to start it, I get the message "already installed on 2 devices"
    I need to remove it from one of those devices.

    On one of your older PCs, Start Photoshop, go to the  Help menu > Deactivate...

    Why is it that after all these years Verity support in
    Coldfusion is still a black art when it comes to its errors and
    support. I have asked numerous places with regards to what Error
    (-1705), (-1703) and the dubious General Error(2) mean when
    searching or indexing a collection, but know one in the community
    or in these forums seems to have the answer. Does Anyone know where
    I can find this information. Even the Verity Error reference does
    not list these or tell us what any of the errors means other than
    it was an error. This is very frustrating and we are now looking at
    going to either a google search appliance or rewriting the whole
    thing using Lucene.

    Check for a symbolic link from '_ssol26' directory to
    '_solaris' directory. They should both be pointing to the same
    directory so check the path.

  • Total conquest? Worst customer support ever!

    I been trying to play total conquest game for a while now and I seem to be contacting their customer support team more often than I actually play the game. Its full of bugs and issues. Two weeks ago I got banned for no apparent reason and tried to contact support yet again, I got the usual automated reply saying i am very important to them and so on and that a reply would come in up to 3 days. HAH! I got a reply after 6 days asking me to show proof of purchase. I didn't buy anything and answered right away. Waited another 6 to 7 days for another reply from a girl called Elena saying they made a mistake and have unbanned me. Well it's now over 21 days and I am still banned! The very nice customer support team seem to have vanished again! Bloody useless bunch of people there. Now, my question here is, where can I file a complaint on stuff like this?

  • Created an app not able to see it on iPhone Apple Support is REALLY POOR

    My company created an iPhone application about 2-3 months ago. It has been accepted by Apple Online (where you submit it) but it is not viewable in any iPhone. When you ask apple support they just send you a reply back with a link that does NOT help.
    You will not believe I have sent approximately 20 emails to ALL of Apple's support email and even rang them a couple of times but there is no one who knows what they are doing. No one helps, everyone replies back with that link in the email. Even if you tell them what you have done and ask them for what else is requored as the link is not able to help us they will still reply you back wit the same email.
    I was hoping that with such a big company like Apple they would have hired some educated people who know what they are doing or at least reply you back with some helpful solutions.
    For the past 2 months they have given me a run around and no help at all. Does anyone know where I can complaint about Apple? Or does anyone know who can help me out with this type of a problem. I mean come on, the application was developed by my professional IT team who has been in IT for over 10 years and have developed numerous applications.
    Please someone help me out on this one. This is very important. I am very tired of emailing Apple over and over again and getting EXACTLY the same reply back all the time. I mean do they even read your emails or do they just send you back like a ROBOT what is already in the system i.e. Automatically Set Emails.
    I am sorry If I am rude but even the director of the company had a good run around because of this. Is this really professional of apple support team?
    I am asking again please help me out check our account all the codes are absolutely perfect we have checked over 100 times or at least tell us what else we can do to improve this. It's urgent now!
