Is Verizon aware their credit card processing is messed up ?

Yesterday and today I tried to add money to my pay-as-you-go balance. Both times I got this error in a popup:
You cannot access this page.
This may be due to one of two reasons:
1. The FI you are trying to access is deactivated
2. The access to the FI is restricted for specific IP addresses, and your address is not one of them.
That's a credit card reject. I'm using the same card I started the account with. A screen cap of the error is attached. Anyone else seen this ?

This is funny. I posted the error message I got because of Verizon's online credit card processing being screwed up, but it was removed - even though it contained NO personal info. It just showed the weird error, which would help others.
Terms of Service say my recourse is to ask the forum admin about this via private message. But Verizon's private messaging prevents me from contacting Admin Moderator because I'm not connected to them !
(removed)
And to top it off, Verizon called me, but the reception was so bad I couldn't understand them. I checked voice mail, but its reception was bad too.
What a day I'm having.

  • Handling Credit Card processing- need solution

    Hello SAP Gurus'
I need a solution in accepting credit card for payment against an invoice.  My client here in the US has a CCC headquatered in Europe.  They tell my client to input the credit card number and expiration date in the text field under customer open items and input request in assingment field.  They in turn somehow process the credit card number and associate the payment with the invoice.  They haven't provided a test of this yet.  I don't believe it can happen.  At any rate, I am NOT a proponent of having customer credit card info on the text field.
I understand there is a solution is changing the payment method to prompt the transaction thereby processing the credit card someone against the open receivable or balance on account.  I am not sure how that part works.
Can anyone help me with the solution?

    Try this link:
    http://www.sap-img.com/sap-sd/set-up-for-credit-card-payment-processing.htm
This gives detailed steps in setting up credit card processing for SAP.
I would definately NOT recommend holding Credit Card numbers in a plain text field!  Speak to your Internal Control to get their backing for this!

  • Php credit card processing

My merchant account company is raising my rates and making me buy new software. I am looking for a different solution and anyone familiar with credit card processing may be able to give me some good advice.
Up until now, I used software that I installed on my computer that would enable me to process transactions over the Internet. My question is: When someone gives me a credit card number, can I process credit cards using a secure page coded with php? I have a dedicated IP, I can get an SSL certificate, and I can sign up with a credit card gateway like Authorize.net. Why would I need a merchant account (who will charge me a percentage of everything I make)?
There are a number of good php credit card processing scripts available. Can I bypass the merchant account company using a php page that will process my credit cards?

    Hi John
The php code and the process are tightly related when it comes to processing your own credit card transactions and then passing them on for payment authorisation.
All the items must be done on secure server section of site, and will depend on if you wish to create a user account or not, this is for the non-user account
Customer fills in Their details on order form, (Name address, credit card info, etc.)
Details stored in temp database for such transactions via a php back-end script, using encryption for credit card details.
Customer is then shown a confirm page, with the details of the order, only the last four digits of the credit card number are shown.
If the user clicks 'place order' another back-end php script transfers the details to a permanent database and send the details for transaction conformation to your credit card authorization gateway.
Payment status sent to another back-end processing script for completion of transaction, this is often done via ipn or similar system.
Confirm payment and details are displayed to the customer, along with your transaction number, (this one may be omitted) and customer order no.
That's basically the procedure, the scripts can be on the same page using functions, or separate scripts if using procedural code. There are obviously many variations on this procedure but this one is probably the most common.
The use of  'secure pay' adds another two steps to this procedure in that the customer is sent to their card providers site for a second step to the authentication. There they must give a user name and password, (previously agreed and confirmed, if not it gets more complicated) in order to confirm that they are the card holder, before the actual card transaction can continue. To give you some idea of the complexity of the 'secure pay' set-up, the general extra cost can range anywhere between $1000 and $3000, (depending if done within web site development budget, or as an extra) converting from U/K £ to $.
BTW, The secure pay is normally used by bank card processing, these used to be know as 'Merchant Accounts', but paypal and others started using this term for their accounts which complicated the issue, the bank processing is what I am referring to with this term, and the fact that visa and mastercard use a different processing procedure is why I say, 'avoid'.
(Sorry if this explanation is a little long, but once you go outside the standard card processing, it does get more complex).
I came across a web site (hotscripts.com) and found some PHP scripts
    that
    process credit cards.
Unless you are happy adding extra security checks to the code to validate your site is the one using it, try to avoid any scripts that are 'in the public domain'. This is not said with any prejudice or doubt regarding the code, more that once you process your own credit cards you become completely responsible, (legally) for any fraud or misuse that results from your scripts/site.
One other item is that I would recommend using PHP:PDO with MySQL transactions and bound-parameters/stored procedures for this, mainly because they adds extra levels of security and redundancy to the procedure, which is not possible using the standard php/mysql code.
Hope this clears a few details up.

  • MYOB/Firewall/Credit Card Processing

After six well meaning customer service people and a very nice apple technician and I am still unable to process credit cards through my MYOB software. Is it my firewall? It is off. Is it that the processor is not recognizing my computer? I am on high speed internet, running firefox browser, is it the browser? Does MYOB even support mac 10.3.9 for their processing function within the software?. I am able to log onto the processor site independent of MYOB. Everyone sent me a help viewer article on servers but I am on a computer not a server. MYOB is a great accounting software, I have had it about two months coming from Quickbooks I really like many of the e-features including the credit card processing if I can just figure out how to solve the problem.

    Isaiah...
    Try this...
    Launch iTunes on your computer.
From the iTunes menu bar click iTunes / Preferences then select the Advanced tab.
Click: Reset warnings and Reset cache
    Click OK.
    Restart your computer, launch iTunes.
Go to the iTunes menu bar click Store > Sign In then View My Account.
Make sure your billing information is correct including credit or debit card numbers, expiration date and make sure the Security code is available then click Done.

  • Has anyone integrated with PaymentTech for credit-card processing?

My client would like to capture credit-card payments using PaymentTech payment processor. We are using Oracles Apps 11i. I am aware that AR is integrated with iPayment for credit-card processing. However iPayment uses Cybercash as the payment system and it does not currently support voiceauth (i.e. ability to capture/settle payments based on an authorization not obtained via iPayment).
Has any one done any custom development to integrate directly to PaymentTech (or to a
3rd party application which integrates with PaymentTech)? I would appreciate if you can provide any directions.
    Thanks.

P.S.: If possible, please also cc your response to my internet email addr [email protected] which i can more easily access from the client site.

Authorize.net is a supported payment gateway, take a look here - Supported payment gateway providers and here - Authorize.net for the steps to configure it.

  • Mobile Credit card Processing

Does anyone have experience with mobile credit card processing apps (GOPAYMENT, SQUARE, PAYANYWHERE, etc) On a Droid Razor Maxx HD.  Many of the app providers say their card readers and encryption protocols are compatible with the Droid Razor Maxx but questions re: the Razor Max HD get a firm "I dunna know".  Would like to hear successes and failures, since I really like my new phone, but will be bummed if it won't let me run a credit card scanner.
    Thank you for any help.

I have tried all these systems it really depends on the features you want and your business structure.  If you have low dollar amount transactions the flat rate is the best, but they have limited customer support for any help.
I have not tried these with the razor or MaxxHD but look forward to hearing if they work.
FYI the biggest issue we faced is the readers did NOT plug into our audio headphone jack because of the cases we were using.  If you take the case off it worked but who wants to do that.  To solve this we purchased some audio extension cables from 8 different places and they never worked. The only ones that worked were from CellPay https://cellpayaccessories.com/affiliate/38/node/882

  • My credit card processing in my web form isn't working!

In the credit card processing section of my web form, the credit card expiration date ranges on my live page are 2007-2015.  I have customers complaining because their cards expire in 2016 and they can't purchase our products.  When I go into business catalyst to edit the web form, the credit card expiration date ranges are 2009 - 2020.  In BC the date ranges say one thing but they won't translate onto the live page.  Please help!

    Hello JonathanMLeatherMilk,
Is it possible to get a link to the page with the problem?
With the web form, are you editing/looking it within the Web Forms section or in the Registration - Buy layout withing the Online Shops Module Layouts?  A little more info would help on getting this resolved for you.

  • Argh...iphone4s - credit card processing temporarily unavailable!?

ok I really dont like my iphone 4s right now...
ever since I got it I have been having problems with not being able to call or send sms:es....ok I can....but I basically have to restart the phone...and then I have like 20 seconds to connect the call or it will not work and I have to restart the phone again....but this is a known issue by now I believe....(even though apple sure isnt rushing to solve this issue....which is a bit strange considering its their new flagship and all....)
Today I got a new problem......now for some reason credit card processing is not working....I get "credit card processing  is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later"......earlier today I got that it was denied and I should use a different payment method.......but I double checked that I had money in my account...and tried a few times with the same result....after a few tries I got the "credit card processing is temporarily...." error...
so now my situation with my iphone4s is.....invalid sim, no network, and now credit card processing is temporarily unavailable?
ok...it seems that my iphone 4s has just been reduced to an overpriced camera!
has this happened to anyone else? and if so...does anyone of you know a solution?
I live in Sweden and my carrier is Tele2...

With the first part of that problem, the SIM not recognised, you may want to check for an update.  The 5.0.1 update itself was updated for certain people with the iPhone 4S with that problem. Apple did actually solve it (although I am not sure it fixed this for all).
For which service was the credit card declined?  If it was iTunes, you may need to re accept the conditions in the iTunes store -- that should have happened with the iPhone connection, though.
In any case, you might try a reset of the iPhone: hold both home and off buttons down until after the slider appeard and the apple icon comes on the screen.
You might also ask your carrier or at an Apple store (if there is one convenient to you).

  • Airport Extreme ver. g Failed security check for my credit card processing!

Hope this hasn't just been addressed here but I signed up for a new credit card processing service and they have a company called securitymetrics that checks the level of safety for your cc processing setup.
I failed the check due to Airport Extreme settings and don't know how to fix it.
    Short version:
failure 1:Your computer is answering ping requests. Hackers use Ping to scan the Internet to see if computers will answer. If your computer answers then a hacker will know your computer exists and your computer could become a hacker target. You should install a firewall or turn off Ping requests.
failure 2:It is possible to gather information about the remote base station (such as its connection type or connection time) by sending packets to UDP port 192. An attacker connected to this network may also use this protocol to force the base station to disconnect from the network if it is using PPPoE, thus causing a denial of service for the other users. Solution: Filter incoming traffic to this port and make sure only authorized hosts can connect to the wireless network this base station listens on.
Anyone know how to address these? I looked at the settings on Airport Utility and couldn't find anything.

You would enter 192 in both the Public & Private UDP/TCP entries. The Private IP Address would be an address of a non-existent device. For example, if the DHCP range is 10.0.1.2 - 10.0.1.200, enter 10.0.1.201 for this entry. (This, of course, would mean you do not have a client assigned this IP.)

  • "Credit Card Processing Is Temporarily Unavailable. Please Try Again Later".

    Hi guys.
I have been browsing for hours no with no avail to this problem I have been having.
I am trying to create a new account to use with the iTunes store - an account in my country, rather than using my US account to buy stuff from there.
My country (Bolivia) is new to the iTunes store, and as soon as I heard the store became available yesterday, I have been trying to register a new account. But everytime I get to the payment page and submit the info, I get the error "Credit Card Processing Is Temporarily Unavailable. Please Try Again Later".
Again, I have googled for this for hours with no avails. Common possible solutions were:
A lot of people mistyped the security code. But I have checked mine a thousand times, I'm completely certain I am getting it right, but I keep getting that message.
Some people mistyped the actual CC number. Another piece of info I retyped a couple of times so I'm sure I'm getting it right.
What are the chances the system is actually unavailable? A lot of people solved this problem and the issue wasn't related to a system being down at all. Could it be the fact my country is new to the iTunes store?
It's been like 6 hours since I tried to make the new account. That doesn't fit my definition of "Temporarily". I guess I will wait a day or two and see what happens, but in the meantime I would like to hear possible problems and/or solutions.
Oh, I almost forgot. If it matters, I am using an iTunes Beta on my MacBook Pro.

    Leonnears
I have the same problem, but being as you have had your account for 5 days by the time of this writing, I had mine for about a year. Recently, the security code showed up blank for the credit card I was using, and even when I used the correct security code, iTunes figured that it wasn't valid.
Thankfully, (go shopsafe!) it was easy to get another credit card for a dollar or two (I just want to update my free software for free...), yet this didn't work, for it again said that the security code was invalid.
Then, after a few tries, it said "Credit card processing is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."
Judging by other Apple forums, when this sort of thing happens, it's a problem on Apple's side, rather than my computer.
I came to this conclusion when I came to a forum that had a bunch of different people complaining that they can't buy music on iTunes. However, that forum was dated in 2008.
If someone finds contradictory information, feel free to reply to my post and tell me how I, too, could fix this.
And in case it matters, I am using a MacBook Air with OS X 10.6.8 and have iTunes 10.4.

  • Credit card processing?

I tried to purchase a movie and was informed I needed to update my credit card information. I logged into my account, updated the information, and it keeps telling me "credit card processing temporarily unavaible, please try again later".
This has been the message I've gotten for the last 24 hours. What is going on? Anyone else having this problem?

nobody else is having any purchasing via credit card issue?

  • Credit card processing unavailable???

    Hi,
I am trying to purchase Logic X on the app store using my Paypal account (which is set up properly). But I keep getting an error which is then followed by an alert saying that 'credit card processing is unavailable at this time...please try again later'.
How do I resolve this issue? I live in the U.S. and it's 3 am. I can't call anyone can I?
    Thanks.

I'm having the same problems. It started a couple of days ago when I was unable to download songs from my shopping cart. When I pressed the 'Buy Now' button, I received a 502 error. iTunes did not download my music so I tried again...then again...and again. Still nothing! I was concerned but figured there was a temporary problem. Later, I checked my email and I was astonished to find several PayPal receipts for my purchases at the iTunes store!! What a mess! Apparently when I pressed the 'Buy Now' button I was actually purchasing the songs even though I was never able to download them! I contacted support and they kindly refunded everything (which totalled over $50) without an explanation as to what happened or what an error 502 was! Tonight I tried again (thinking it was just a fluke) and received the 'credit card orders cannot be processed now...' error. Not sure what's going on. I never had this problem before. I hope they correct this soon.

  • Credit card processing temporarily unavailable?

I keep trying to buy some music under my account. my card expired so I need to sign up a new one. when I do it says credit card processing temporarily unavailable and to try again later. its been like this for a few days now. is there something wrong with my settings?

This message can be related to the address format you use or your bank's verifing system. When you put your credit card information into your iTunes Store account, this information is sent to your bank for verification. If the billing address you use does not match the bank's records exactly, and/or is not in standard USPS format, then this could result in the message you are seeing.
I would ensure that your bank's records are correct and if you still experience the error, just use another credit card or an iTunes Store GIft Card.
    Hope that helps!

    hi team,
We are trying to implement credit card processing through oracle istore in r12.
currently we are using istore on external tier of Application server and we are looking for how wecan integrate credit card processing with external server based pages.do we need to do any addtional deployment for external tier apart from creating custom Payment System, Payment System Account and Payee and calling payment gateway via custom built servlet call in ipayments.

    Hi,
thanks for your reply. We dnt have cybersource configured for other modules.Do we need to contact cybersource for related deployment information?Any prerequisite setups needs to be done in EBS for this integration?
