Is Version 2 Still Available?
I am currently using Adobe Captivate Version 1 and now see
that version 3 is available.
My question is whether version 2 is still available for
download as a dmeo. I am curious to view version 2 before making
any decisions are version 3.

Yes, normally once Adobe makes a new version available, the
last version is no longer available for upgrade or purchase. So to
the best of my knowledge, 3 is what they have presently and that's
all you will be able to find.
Just as an FYI, here are the features that I can think of
that 2 brought to the plate:
In no particular order...
* Zoom Areas
* A "color picker" tool (eyedropper) for selecting colors
* Changes to text caption dialogs (ability to apply bullets,
numbering, insert symbols, background color, etc.)
* Skins and Closed Captioning
* Enhanced navigation by choosing an action to occur when
slides end
* A new tab in the main application that shows Branching
* A new toolbar called the "Stage" toolbar. Sits between the
Timeline and Edit area
* A new panel called the "Library" that lists assets such as
Background images, Images, Flash content.
* Ability to insert Flash Video files (.FLV format)
* A new dialog called "Advanced Interaction" that shows you a
listing of all scorable objects in the movie.
There may be more that I missed. Version 3 brings all those
features and even more. Just to name a few...
* Rollover Slidelets
* Ability to Copy, Paste, Import/Export Question slides
* Ability to Randomize Question Slides
* Ability to Shuffle Answers in Question Slides
* Ability to use Image buttons in Question Slides
* New Caption types
* New Button types
* New Stock Animations
* Consolidated Preferences dialog
Again, there may be a few I'm overlooking. But those come to
mind.

I've updated to the most recent version of iTunes and I can no longer see any of my old music on my mac. All the music is still available on my ipad. How can i download the music on my mac?
First, are you positive it is really not there? Have you looked in your iTunes folder in your Music folder, and in the media folders there? Do you see your media files?
If your media are gone it is a lot easier to restore from a proper computer backup. Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.

I'm running LR 4.4. Just picked up a Sony RX100 M3 cam. It's RAW files are not supported within my version. Is there a free update still available for my version or do I need to purchase an upgrade to LR 5?

The Sony RX100 III was first supported in Lightroom 5.5.
There will be no updates for older versions.
So your choices:
Upgrade to Lightroom 5, or
Download the free Adobe DNG converter, convert all Raw files from the RX100 III to DNG format then edit the DNGs in Lightroom 4.4

Apple only sells current versions of Aperture. What version are you looking for and have you looked on sources such as E-Bay for legacy licenses?

got notification that new Itunes version is available, once i installed it I'm no longer able to open Itunes, I get the error message, Not installed properly. Reinstall itunes. Error 7(Windows error127), I tried repairing itunes, Apple Aplication support, apple mobile device support, bonjour and I even uninstalled and reinstalled Itunes and still problem exist, any solution?
I have windows 8I got this message today too. I understand that my music is stored on my computer, however I want to be certain that if I re-install iTunes, it won't erase my library....playlists, playcounts, checked songs, etc.

"A newer version is available" error
A little background: I have a SharePoint farm with 2 web front ends load balanced, a application server and a database server, serving content to over 600 users.
I've started experiencing some issues with users on shared accounts. For ease of use (though I don't like it) a number of staff at certain locations all login with the same user account. We use roaming profiles to maintain consistency between the computers and these shared profiles are mandatory. The internet explorer temp files are not redirected and are stored locally.
These staff members regularly have to update a specific excel spreadsheet in a document library in SharePoint. The shared accounts are not allowed access to SharePoint for tracking and security reasons. So users log into SharePoint using their own credentials.
Lately I've been having an issue of when they open a document and check it out to make edits they get a bar at the top that says "A newer version is available. To modify this workbook, open the latest version or save a copy."
I've verified that it's not been checked out and had the user attempt to check this document out and they still get this error. It seems to be random and possibly per different computers.
I first suspected it was an internet explorer caching issue and adjusted setting to clear the cache on close and to check for a new content on every visit to the page. That didn't seem to make a difference.
We're in the process of rolling out IE 7 and I suspected maybe that would solve this issue, but we're still having the problem. I've also tried repairing and reinstalling office 2007 to no avail. I have the latest service packs and hot fixes on Office 2007 and Windows XP. I haven't upgraded SharePoint to service pack 2 yet but I do have the latest infrastructure updates on it.
I’ve seen a little information from searching around on Google but nothing specifically similar to this that has more of an answer then “reinstall office”. Does anyone have any insight into these errors and how I can go about solving them? Thanks!I’m not clear from the 2 posts what should be deleted.

I deleted my ibooks author file but the preview is still available on my ipad, can I get the ibook back into ibooks author to continue to edit? I have not published anything, just previewed on my ipad but the file seems to be deleted from my imac which is what I was using ibooks author on. Any help is welcome!

Work up from whatever version you have.
Any work you value should be backed up....period. That backup should be used and tested regularly. Consider this a lesson learned, perhaps. Good luck in the future. -
Is the flag still available in iPhoto '11?
I have looked at all the infomation available on iPhoto '11 and can't verify that the flag is still available. If it is not included in this version, how does a person move a photo from 1 event to another?
Flagging is still an option in iPhoto '11.

When Creative Cloud updated a few days ago (Win7) it reported I had no installed apps.
In Lightroom I keep getting messages that a new version is available. Installed it from CC and it installed without error, CC shows I installed it, but it simply fails to run.
How do I get CC to find apps installed under the previous version?
And how do I get Lightroom CC to run?
PeterI still don't know how to get CC to find that I have Photoshop CC installed, but running Creative Cloud, going to Preferences and signing out, then signing in again got Lightroom CC to work.
Since Photoshop CC is still working despite apparently not being installed things are now OK, at least for the moment. But I'm not feeling at all happy with Adobe. -
The solution tabs on my email page(i.e.-"delete","check mail","compose",etc.)have disappeared on Firefox. They are still available on Internet Explorer, but I'd like to use Firefox!@ How can I get them back on Firefox? Earstwhile ISA still available in ECC 6.0?

Earlier R/3 versions (Till 4.7) had Internet Sales Application (ISA) component which was supposed to be used for B2B and B2C scenarios.
Is this component still available in ECC 6.0? If yes, any enhancements done to the earstwhile functionalities?
If the client is using earstwhile ISA in say R/3 4.0 and would like to use the same in ECC 6.0, will they be able to do it OR does it require some additional software piece/ component?
If ISA is withdrawan from ECC 6.0, what would be the best way for clients to get the functionality of B2B and B2C selling in ECC 6.0? Do they necessarily have to go for CRM?

In SAP FI you can pinpoint the report which are new in ECC6 as compared to previous version by the nomenclature defined. Reports ending with letter N are new and modified reports as compared to the previous versions. E.g FBL5N,FBL1N e.t.c -
CS6 trial downloads still available?
Can I still download/install a trial version of say Photoshop CS6 without joining creative cloud? If so does anyone have a link and know if they will install without joining CC. My goal is to evaluate each program for 30 days each, I was under the impression that if I join free cloud membership I can get 30day trials of all CC programs and try them out separately as time permits, but apparently with cloud that means more like only a 30 day evaluation period of all apps simultaneously, according to 3 different chat adobe reps. Anybody know if the trials for CS 6 are any different and still available. Or if the rep is mistaken (from your experience with free membership cloud free trials) in regards to having 30 days to evaluate all programs at once? I am afraid to install/test one software in CC as that will mean I will have to get started on evaluating all softwares at once.

The installer will give the option to run as a Trial license or a purchased license.
As far as CC membership, registering, even for the Free plan, will have no bearing on the 30 day evaluation period for any of the individual applications. Each application will start the 30 day period after the first launch and explicit action of click ing a button to start Trial.

I aim to create an app for iPad and android tablets which would be updated twice yearly with revised content.
I understand that in order to achieve this I would need at least a 'Professional' DPS subscription.
My intentions were to subscribe to 'Professional' in order to publish the app then cancel the subscription once approved and available for download. Then repeat for each update.
As the multi-folio app would be hosted by Adobe, what happens once a subscription is cancelled?
Would the latest version of the app still available for download or would it be removed from the app stores?
Thanks in advance for any advice.So, the app simply acts as the folder for the content and once unsubscribed this content is pulled from the app? In essence it would then become an empty folder until a subscription was renewed?
My original intent was to create a built-in single issue app but as that is not possible for Android I am obliged to create a multi-folio app, hence requiring an expensive subscription for 'Adobe DPS Professional'. Is there no easier/cost effective solution to be able to cater to both platforms in this case?
