Is Volume Shaw Copy useful for a WRITE only System ?

Hi,
We are considering setting up Volume Shadow Copy for a Windows Volume that contains Records Management System documents.
More than 99% time, we only WRITE to that volume.  Only a few will be retrived and re-written (with later version of RM).  We
We guess adding new records will fill up the VSS soon and wonder whether it is a good idea to turn on VSS on that Disk Volume ?

Correctly performing backup and restore operations requires close coordination between the backup applications, the line-of-business applications that are being backed up, and the storage management hardware and software. The Volume Shadow Copy Service
(VSS), which was introduced in Windows Server® 2003, facilitates the conversation between these components to allow them to work better together. When all the components support VSS, you can use them to back up your application data without taking the applications
offline.
So I recommend you to enable Volume Shaw Copy Service, the shadow copy is not created every time a file is changed, you can configure a schedule to created it automatically once per day, or manually when triggered by the backup utility or installer applications
which create a restore point.
