Is Xcode 4.1 still downloadable from someplace? How to expunge Xcode 4.2.1?

1) It seems that at the App Store only Xcode 4.2.1 is currently available. Does anyone know from where Xcode 4.1 might still be downloadable?
2) I have also read in several threads that if one wishes to install Xcode 4.1 after Xcode 4.2 is in place, then one is best advised to expunge Xcode 4.2 first. This has been done successfully by several people using "sudo /Developer/Library/uninstall-devtools -mode=all". Unfortunately, this did not work for me. It seems that there is no /Developer directory or folder for sudo to access ..... yet, the Xcode 4.2 C compiler that was installed (somewhere unknown) is still accessible to my engineering software. Bottom line, Xcode 4.2 stuff still exists on my machine, but I cannot find or erase it.
Any recommendations?

Thanks very much K T. Unfortunately, I need Xcode 4.1 because it has a compiler required by MathWorks SIMULINK dynamic model simulation software. I tried to use the compiler in Xcode 4.2.1 and the compilation aborted. MathWorks explained to me that they do not support the newer compiler.
I believe that I could install 4.1 I would be in good shape. However, in reading various threads, I am concerned that I should not attempt to install 4.1 without getting rid of 4.2.1
Would there be a better way?

Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

If at all possible, copy your entire iTunes folder from your old computer to your new one (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4527). Otherwise, you will lose and music that was not purchased from the iTune store unless you use 3rd party software such as Touch Copy to transfer it to your new computer. 1) A .ipa file is an app for IOS (iPhone, iPad..) and will NOT run on Mac OS X. Apps for your Mac can be found for example on the Mac App Store (you can find a link to it in the Apple menu on your menu bar).

Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content & Settings. This will bring you back to the initial setup screens, and allow you to choose Restore from iCloud Backup (see image below). Be sure you are connected to wifi and your charger as restoring may take some time to finish.

Your only way is if you have the version that was compatible on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case delete the current version that is in your iTunes App library and replace it with the older version. Then sync.

On your iPad tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account - that should give you a payments link on your account's page. Or on your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should also be a payment link.

The movie had gotten to the point that I could watch it all the way through but it still said processing and got stuck at that point and when I turned off the wifi to try to restart it, it deleted its-self but did not free up any of the storage It was taking up
Restarting my iPad does not help
Some thing similar also happened to my old laptop when trying to download the iOS 5 update to my laptop when it came out. It kept getting disconnected and every time it would try to start over and act like what had already been downloaded was not there though it was still taking up the storage space.
And it continued repeating until it took up all of my storage space. The data file would not show up anywhere so I had to restore my laptop to the factory settings and that worked for awhile but I eventually had to get a new laptop.

The entire DVD containing Quick Time movies (Final CutExpress project) and slideshow was done in iPhoto. The Final Cut project was rendered prior to export to QT, the slideshow was sent to iDVD withoutrendering. The slideshow with most of the pictures from my still camera incombination with stills from movie clips and some downloaded from the Internet.After burning, the movie playback is perfect but the slideshow is not. The slideshow containing 3 differentkinds of pictures; those from my still camera looks OK; the stills from themovie clips and from the Internet are not. I don’t have much knowledge in this game, but I think NTSCwith frame size 720x480, and the downloaded picture Item Property shows most ofthem are between 400 to 500 x 300 to 600, may be both of them are not suitablefor TV screen while the stills from my still camera looks OK because they are2048x1536. Please enlightenme. Once again, thank you so much,I really appreciate the time you offered.
