Hi all, You can check my system here: http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=c03382032 I bought a XFX TS 550W 80+ BRONZE but some problems arose and I send it back cause it might be faulty but in the meantime I wanted to confirm if this PSU is compatible with my system or not and what BIOS configurations or downloads should or can I make. My current BIOS version is 7.11.I use HP support assistant for updates and no BIOS update appears there. Thx for your feedback !!!

It worked !!! I thought i had already reseted the bios but seems like using the menu didnt do it. The computer is now working as b4 thx god it isnt some damage on my hardware !!! Should I now access BIOS and save to default again ? I set the time manually in windows dont know if that is the best way to go around it anyways I am going to search about it. Btw the PSU is XFX the GPU is from MSI. How should i proceed now, should I keep with the RMA and make sure its not faulty or the problems that arose with it are all explained by problems in the BIOS and there is no reason to be afraid of the new PSU? Anyone have issues installing an XFX Radeon HD 5770 video card with the 890GXM-G65? Bought one and when I installed it, the fan was blowing but the card was extremely hot (smelled like something was melting). Also my monitor didn't recognize a signal so the screen was black. Returned that one, and although the second one was considerably cooler, nothing still appeared on screen. Is this a compatibility issue?

I am willing to bet that the current PSU in your computer would support the GPU you are wanting to install on the computer. That GPU is not as power-hungry as a top-end card, so won't utilize too much power.
I honestly would recommend installing the GPU first prior to spending money on a PSU you may not need. If the computer seems to not be working, you should be able to install the corsair 650w PSU into your computer without many complications -- however I would talk to a local Geek Squad Counter-intelligence agent prior to purchasing the product.

Mail app deleted and reinstall wont open, says not compatible with OSX

i accindetally deleted my mail app and emptied the trash, when I tried to reinstall from the startup disk, it installs but wont open, saying that the version of mail is not compatible with the version of OSX (10.5.8)

There is no downloadable version of Mail.app - it comes with the operating system i.e. on your install disks.

I have installed Firefox4 to find it is not compatible with my version of OSX how do I get version 3.6 back or do I just give up and use Safari?

I downloaded Version 4 and installed it. At no point did it say that it was not compatible with the version of OS X that I am running (10.4.11) now that it is installed it will not open but it has already up graded from 3.6 so I have lost the lot. I need to silently upgrade from 3.5 to 7 but get an error message after 7 install. Platform version 7.0 is not compatible with minVersion = 1.9.1

I'm trying to silently upgrade my environment to FF 7. I've gotten the silent install working great, it puts in my Proxy Server info, reassigns the home page and all that. But, the last version we pushed out was FF 3.5. If a user had that on their PC and they run the FF7 install, they get weird messages when clicking on the icon.

Do you have other virtualization or security software that might protect .ini and possibly other files in the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\) and prevent Firefox from updating them properly?
You need to do a clean reinstall.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

* Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version or you lose your bookmarks and other data in the profile folder.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

I want to add another management server to our existing SCOM environment. But whenever I run this setup on a new server I get stuck in the window for selecting the OperationsManager database. The database field stays blank and in the OpsMgrSetupWizard log
there are lines that the setup version is not compatible with the database version. But I use the same installer as when I installed the other management servers a year ago.
Maybe there is a newer setup installer? But I can't find it.

Apparently there was a newer version of SCOM setup in msdn and someone upgraded our existing SCOM environment. Downloaded the new setup, new report viewer controls and a System
CLR Types for Microsoft® SQL Server® 2012 and now it works!!

Sorry - may have posted in the wrong discussion, but here's trying!
Read some posts on this subject before, the suggestion is not, the iPod shows up as a removable drive in VISTA but iTunes won't sync - that was RC1 and not release versions. I'm looking to upgrade from XP Pro to VISTA on my home PC (I have the media and my PC is shown as compatible so just I'm itching to make the install!) but worried I'll lose connection to my iPod from iTunes. Anyone done this yet, what was your experience?

iTunes is not 100% compatible with Vista.
The filter driver for the burning component of iTunes does not function. If you install iTunes, you will need to remove it by going to Device Manager then View -> Show Hidden Devices.
Expand Non-Plug-and-Play devices, find PxHelp20. Right click that and select Uninstall.
You may have to restart. After this, iTunes will function except for the burning component.

Xbox 360 no longer compatible with my Ipod

I have been using my 4th gen Ipod with my 360 since January of this year...now everytime I pluged it in to my 360 it recognized it by it's name and I could choose any playlist I want with no problem...now from 2 days ago on, my 360 no longer see's the ipod by it's name but shows it as "audiobook" and I can not see any playlists on it what so ever...
If I unplug it from my 360 or plug it into my computer it's fine and works great, but when it's plugged into my 360 the name is changed and my playlists are not there.
I'm thinking it might be something in the last update 7.3 for Itunes which might not be compatible with the 360, which is the only thing that has changed in the last week.
Anyone else having the same problem with his/her Ipod/Xbox360? And is their any suggestions on how to fix this?

I got it working yesterday...you have to uninstall everything that has to do with Itunes and quicktime from your computer, even the mobile update...then search google for Itunes 7.2 (it's out there)reinstall 7.2 and turn off the automatic updates. plug your Ipod back into your computer open up Itunes...then when you eject it from your computer, plug it back into your 360 and it should be working just fine!
