Is YouTube app going to be able to share straight to Facebook soon?
I've been waiting to see if the built in YouTube app is going to be able to share straight on Facebook and not just on Twitter
Built in youtube app is gone in ios 6.
Google eventually will come out with an ipad app.

Not able to share location on facebook thorough my Nokia C7. Though im connected all the time on phone through widgets. I have 3 G connection.rest of the stuff works absolutely fine however whenever i try to share the location through ovi maps it givens me error" temporary network problem try again later". I have got the same issue. I've tried it from several places: at home (over wireless), outside over 3G, at work over Wireless. Always the same error message.
I have got the message for all the social networks. With the fourquare app it worked one time but afterwards the application and phone crashed.
Software 014.002 is installed as firmware on my C7.
I would like to see this issue solved. -
Everytime I go to share, it acts like it's going to facebook then goes right back to the selected/choose page. Please help. Have already deleted app and reinstalled. Still not working!!
Some other users here have had to delete the new Facebook.app from their iPhone then log in to Facebook through the iPhoto.app and then reinstall the Facebook.app. It seems that iPhoto and the new Facebook.app are not cooperating.

I had to reset my iPhone because forgotten pass code, I am trying to back up my iPhone to a previous date so I do t lose all my pictures, contacts, apps ect. I have done this before but never had this much trouble. Is this something I'm going to b able to do an restore all my things bag to my phone
What problem are you having when attempting to restore?
Are you using iCloud or iTunes to restore?

If you've updated to iOS 6 then the YouTube app is no longer included - you will either need to try one of the YouTube apps from the store (there is an iPhone optimised app from google, and other people have said that they are working on an iPad version), or try accessing the mobile version via Safari : http://m.youtube.com (you can create a home screen shortcut for the site)
If you are on iOS 5 and you can't find it on any of your homescreens or app folders and you've tried searching for it via the spotlight search screen (swipe your first homescreen to the righ), then is it hidden via Settings > General > Restrictions > YouTubebeing 'off' ? -
Why I can not open youtube apps in my iPad air? Anyone can help?
first thing happened was I can not open the youtube apps here in my iPad air. Then I try to delete it then install again but same thing happens. Then I try to refresh my iPad but still same thing happen again I can't open. Then I figure it out that maybe I need to update my software device from ISO 7 to ios 8 but worst thing happened. I can't open the YouTube apps again and my movie box apps I can't open also. And my iCloud settings i can't access also beacause they said need to check my email and verify my iCloud settings. But worst thing happen is I forgot my password in my email.. god! Can anyone help me pls of what I'm going to do? To fix this problem? Thank you!
You do NOT need to restore your iPad.
I believe that the problem is that there is a disconnect with your iTunes account and your iPad. What you are experiencing is a somewhat common issue after you sync your iPad, update your device - it could be a number of reasons that are causing it. the recommended fix is to download another app in order to "reconnect" your ID and iTunes account to the iPad.
You can read more about it here. You will need a WiFi internet connection in order to fix it - or you have to be able to sync with your own iTunes library.

3. Install another app from the App Store
If none of your user-installed apps will launch, there could be an issue with Apple ID authorization. Download and install a free (or paid) app that isn't already installed on your device to reset this information. Note: If you have installed apps using multiple Apple ID accounts, you may need to perform this step for each account. -
YouTube Built-in app on iPad 2 doesn't allow sharing to Facebook?
When I purchased my iPad 2, it was to use this for Facebook, YouTube, and twitter.
On the appe website it says, "When you find a YouTube video your friends just have to see, tap Share on any YouTube video detail page. iPad creates an email with the video link, ready to send. Post it to your Facebook following. Tweet about it." The apple page even shows a logo of Facebook next to paragraph.
Under the "Share" option, I only see the ability to send an email with a video link or to post to your twitter account. There is no post option for Facebook.
I have tried unsuccessfully to find a way to share my YouTube videos with my Facebook friends. When I search this forum, I see posts going back to 2009, where lots of people are having this same issue, and similarly referenced apples site saying this was able to be done.
What's going on here? I mean even obsolete web forums and older iPhone YouTube apps have a one-click ability to share YouTube videos on Facebook.Have you tried logging out of your account on your iPad by tapping on your id in Settngs > iTunes & App Store and then logging back in and seeing if they show in the Purchased tab for redownloading ?
When you backed up your iPad on your computer's iTunes, did you also trasnfer your downloads over to your computer via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases ? The apps themselves aren't included in a backup, just their content/settings, so for a restore to be able to copy your apps onto a device the apps need to be in the Apps part of your computer's iTunes library. If you copy them from your old iPad or redownload them on your computer via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage you can then retry restoring to the backup -
In a nutshell When I play an HD video on my iPhone 6 Plus using the YouTube app the quality will randomly go in and out of HD.My Internet connection is fast and my older iPhones(5s And 5) don't have this issue.Has anyone experienced anything like this?I talked to apple.They sent me a diagnostics test according to which myphone didn't have any issues.Pls help?

Welcome all to the community. We would like to recommend instead of accessing the YouTube application through MY APPS try going through the ALL APPS option and then select the YouTube application from that list. Once the application is launched to show the menu please press the LEFT ARROW to be able to see options such as “ My subscriptions ” ,“ History ”, " Favorites " " Playlists " among others , since it could be that the update didn't affect the thumbnail added to MY APPS of the YouTube shortcut.
Here is an example of what to do:
Press the HOME button, then select [Apps].
Select [All Apps] →select → press the button.
Once the application is launched press ◄ arrow to display the menu

YouTube App Video Playback Poor Performance
Not sure when or what changed but video playback performance on my iPod Touch 4G when using the YouTube app has been very poor the last couple months. Used to work just fine. The performance has been so bad that I basically gave up watching YouTube videos on my iPod. By bad performance I mean it would literally take 10 minutes to watch a 2 minute video (estimating of course). And I would get chunks of about 20 seconds before I had to wait while the video would buffer again.
I know this is due to my connection speed as video playback using the YouTube app at other locations that have a faster speed still worked fine.I think my home connection is up to 5 MB download but I actually only get around 4 MB. But still, this should be just fine as it used to work. Also, NetFlix and FaceTime work just fine at home. The YouTube app should be able to determine the video quality based on your connection for streaming. But it now longer seems to do that.
Talked to Apple tech support and they had me reset my iPod which did not help. But they had me try using Safari instead of the YouTube app. By using Safari and going to YouTube.com video playback on my iPod Touch was just fine. Videos would buffer more quickly then they would play. Even if I left HQ on, video playback was fine. Go figure? Something definitely seems wrong with the YouTube app.
So I thought I'd post this in case anyone else was searching for a solution. This works for me.
Seems like the YouTube app needs to be updated. Mentioned this to Apple tech support but was told Google would be responsible for that and they doubt it will be done due to YouTube no longer using flash. Hmmmm, the app seems pretty integrated into iOS as the app comes installed and can not be uninstalled.See:

Try when connected to another network to help determine if it is a network problem
Contact the developer/go to their support site if only one app.

Why does the YouTube app on the iPad Air 2 crash after posting a comment?
I got a brand new iPad Air 2 about 2 weeks ago, and ever since I started using the YouTube app, I've had a few issues. Every time that I post a comment or reply to a comment, the app crashes. This can be very annoying, especially when it happens in the middle of watching a video. When I re-open the app, I have to go back, find the video I was watching, and find the exact time that I was at before the app crashed. I need to do this every time, and this prevents me from being able to reply to comments or post anything at all. I had the YouTube app on my old iPad 2 which I had for about 4 years before upgrading to the iPad Air 2, and I never had any problems such as this one. I am not sure whether there is something wrong with my iPad, or maybe it could just be a bug within the app, which in that case, the developers would need to fix. Please let me know what you think of this issue, thanks.
Delete youtube app from iPad and then download it again. Or try clearing out youtube like press home button twice and clear the Q out.

My friend has a blackberry and sends links to youtube videos to me all the time, in text messages, that I can watch easily. I could not figure out how to send him links to youtube videos. The youtube app doesnt provide a URL I can copy and paste into the text message and going to youtube through web browser just defaults it back to the (URL-less) app.
I cant be the first person totally stumped by this.
Its either not possible or crazy simple and I just havent drank the apple kool-aid enough yet...to the right of the vol bar there is an icon which look like a box with an arror going out of if you click on that and choose mail link to this video you get what you want
