ISA and ICSS online deployment

We are running SAP WAS 6.40 JAVA and would like to know if it is possible to deploy the ISA and ICSS applications without taking down the live version during the SDM deployment.

Hi,
I'm currently working as a developer on an ISA and Portal implementation. We too are using the CRM ISA BP too integrate into the portal. I've not been too close to this aspect of the project but we have been having lots of problems...
Couple of important things I am aware of:-
Make sure your SAP J2EE is at the latest version/patch - we were having issues with logon and session time outs (there is an OSS note relating to this issue)
Make sure you user creation methods are set up correctly - we had automatic creation of user IDs on the CRM system which caused a nightmare getting single sign on working between the Portal, CRM and ISA.

I am starting a project to implement ISA and ICSS and wondering if anyone has any good documentation regarding this for me to start with? Also, if anyone could recommend me a class from SAP for ISA and ICSS, that would be great. The only class that I saw is CRM30 Internet Sales but we are on CRM4.0.

Which version of CRM and ISA you are into?
NWDI is manadatory for ISA 5.0/ICSS 5.0, but not for ISA 4.0

Online deployment with SDM

Hallo,
I have folloving problem with deploying SAPXITOOL SP14 L9.
When I started deploying there is a message that SAP WEB AS JAVA is currently stopped, but J2EE (dispatcher, server0 and SDM) is started. If SDM deploying part com.sap.aii.security.ws.proxy the SDM using online deploying.
Now there is a bad message:

Please check if "smbxi2db" is the JAVA CI host . If not maintain correct host in secstore.
Configtool-> Secure Store -> admin/host/<SID> (JAVA CI host, Not DB host)

Online Deployment in Cluster

we have currently set up a Netweaver application server cluster on SLES10. The cluster is setup like this:
Two physical servers.
1 WebDispatcher
1 SCS
1 JavaCentral Instance with SDM
3 Dialog Instances.
We wanted to know if the SDM provides an online deployment possibility, in which the WebDispatcher recognizes which dialog instance is not available due to current deployment.
Does there have to be something configured in the SDM or WebDispatcher?
We want to ensure if we deploy something during runtime that the server handles this appropriately without timeouts or errors.

Hi Kai,
No the webdispatcher cannot be used by SDM to deploy software to other instances. The webdispatcher is used specifically to load balance HTTP, HTTPS and SMTP requests over different instances to one logical backend system.
This is not specific to SDM but the webdispatcher will poll the backend message server for specific information about the availability of all backend instances via the profile paraemeter wdisp/auto_refresh (default 120 seconds).
The information relayed from the message server includes the state of the instances. If the message server reports to the webdisp that a server is down it will be removed from the webdispatcher server pool.
Note: Dont set the wdisp/auto_refresh parameter too low as the webdispatcher uses this for receiving load balancing information as well as the state of the instances.

Every time I TRY to start firefox 18-19 I get an error message : "Firefox has stopped working" - "close the program and check online for a solution" - or - "close the program" this happens TWICE every time I try to start firefox. Eventually after a random number of tries firefox will start normaly. I am useing firefox 19.0.2 now bit I belive it started when I upgraded to firefox 18 but am not sure, it might have been when I upgraded to firefox 19 ... but it has been happening for a very long time and I cannot find any helpfule solutions online.
I have tried a Clean reinstall but it did not help.

Unfortunately, this is a problem that is driven by the DRM Dictatorship. Despite the proliferation of mobile devices and the fact that there are many of us who do a lot of international travel, content providers don't want you to have access to their products outside of your homeland. The Balkanized mentality of the DRM Dictatorship is way out of touch with the modern world.
At least Apple, to its credit, allows you to use your accounts outside of your homeland as long as you have the proper credentials for them. Most other services use the more Draconian geolocation filtering which does require you to be physically present in your homeland. For the most part, you are not allowed to leave home if you want access to your favorite entertainment!

If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. I am going to buy a Macbook Pro w/ Retina Display and iPad from www.topbuy.com.au . It's a legit website, but they say the items have topbuy warranties, not apple ones. They say I have to send off my faulty device to them, and they will fix it, but I don't want to do that. I just want to walk into an Apple store, tell them the problem and have a happy ending, like what's supposed to happen. Will I be able to do this?

Apple warranty is good at any Apple service provider, AASP or store.
But you seem to be reaching far to defend that "it's a legit website", especially when they seem to be directing you from seeking certified Apple service.
As the saying goes: If it looks like a duck, and it sound like a duck, it's quackers to bypass an Apple store or Apple online to save a few $$. Well, something like that.

Flex and Zend amf deployment resolved with proper solution

Hi All,
Although, I personally do not like using Zend for these issues itself. However, I faced this issue first time with flex 4.0 version when everyone used to run into
channel disconnected error. you can find the link for that post here:

Now, with flash builder 4.6, things have changed slightly and so the deployment process. So, here are the right set of steps to be followed :
1. after developing your flash project, export the release build(I assume if you are a flex user, you should know these steps already)
2. Now, check your release folder, you must have got some files with amfconfig.ini and gateway.php and just one folder named history.
3. copy all these files into a new folder say "My Release Build".
4. Now, step 1 is get Zend framework in place, to achieve that:
there are different ways. some will say : "make sure zend must already installed on your production server." that is an alternative but most likely, the easier way to do this is : search your www(root folder on localhost),you will find a folder with name ZendFramework. Copy this folder to "My Release Build"
5. Now, the services that you have used in your flex project, go to debug folder of your project which should be in your www(root folder on localhost) with name "yourprojectname-debug". copy services folder from this debug folder to "My Release Build"
6. Now, open your amfconfig.ini from "My Release Build" and edit and make it look like following:

thats it. your amf config is fine.

Now, upload your "My Release Build folder to your production server webroot"
case 1: if you get "channel disconnected error, you have made some mistake and your path for zend or services folder is not right."
In above case, "ZendFramework folder and services folder with all of other release files". To find out what is wrong, open this url :
http://www.yourwebsite.com/gateway.php. if you see this lovely string there : "Zend Amf Endpoint". consider your are through with zend settings on server
otherwse you will see relative errors.
2. After fixing this step, try run your website, you will land into this error :

Now, this is a zend framework bug, it does not automatically detect the php classes in your services folder,those who have run into this, must have googled hard to find the solution and this bug is also logged officially on zend server jira log.
so, what is the solution? simple and effective. open your gateway.php file from "My Release Build"
Add this little line :
$server->addDirectory(dirname(__FILE__) . '/services/');
after this line :
$server->setProduction($amf->production);
reupload this file to your production, you should see your Flex, Zend, php & Mysql in action.

Richard Bates of flexandair.com figured it out. In my php.ini file, I had the memory limit set at 8M. After, changing it to 32M, it worked. Thank you, Richard!

Mapping ISA and GS information

I am fairly new to BizTalk. I have become pretty good at using the mapping tool as well as XSLT (which I prefer), but there is one thing I'm not sure how to do. I need to insert info into a SQL table for each claim that we process. Part of the info I need
is from the ISA and GS segments. Since that info is not present in the claim schema I cannot map it directly in the mapper. Is there a way to access that info in the mapper? Can it be accessed using C# from a scripting shape?
