  • ISA XCM Configurations - Blank Screen

    Hi,
I'm using ISA 4.0 (R/3 Edition) deployed on a NW04 Server. When i tried to create a XCM config setting (JCo) on Customer space (on the config tree), i get a blank screen.
Here's the trace i got from dev.trace.1 file from the server. It says "ERROR IN JSP". Kindly help. I tried this on all SPs (SP10, SP11, SP11_P9, SP12, SP12_P3) deployed one and undeployed the same to deploy the next one.

    Hi Earnest,
yes if you want to use Talent Management / Talent assessment service for the manager you have to perform all customizing steps for talent assessment. The Talent assessment service is a webdynpro application which is based on different phap templates (depends on your customizing e.g. talent pool, competency assessment.....). But you are not able to modify these templates according your customers needs.
The data is transferred from talent assessment templates to infotype 7408 and 7409.
If you display talent assessment data from the templates are displayed.
If you display talent profile data from infotypes are displayed.
If you plan to use a custom template instead of standard talent assessment you have to transfer data to the info types with a BadI.
    best regards
    Martin Hastik

  • CUPC Over VPN

We resolved a VPN issue that was preventing us to be able to log in to CUPC over VPN. I am now able to log in, I can see my buddy list and their status, however the CUPC status in the bottom of the window is listed as "Offline (No Network)".
    Server Health:
Logon Server: Not Connected - Disconnected
    Phone Config: Downloaded
    Presence: Connected
    Desk Phone: Not Connected
    Softphone: Not Active
    Voicemail: Connected
Secure Messaging: Not Connected - Server Unreachable
LDAP: Not Available - Server Unreachable
What could be causing some of the servers to be connected while others are disconnected? We are running Microsoft ISA VPN.

This is likely an ISA VPN configuration issue. CUPC creates separate connections to each system. For example, voicemail is an IMAP or secure IMAP connection, presence is a SIP connection, desk Phone is CTI, etc. All traffic is not tunneled through CUPS.
You will need to troubleshoot the individual protocols to understand why Microsoft's VPN product is not properly transproting them. A good place to start would be attempting telnet connections from the VPN-connected machine to the locations specified in the relavent profile on CUPS. Example: Can you telnet to your LDAP server's port as defined in CUPS?

  • Webchannel b2b Accesed from CRM Java multi language best practice?

    Hi,
We are accesing Webchannel from CRM Portal and we have the requirement to access Webchannel b2b with the same language as the Portal User.
Is there a best practice to do this? I´ve seen creating a URL iView with Spanish and English URL with a parameter called language, and also an iView for english and an iView for Spanish pointing to a system for english and a system for spanish respectively.
Is there another way to do this? or a recommended way?
Hope somebody else have solved this.
    Thanx in Advanced!
    Kind Regards,
    Gerardo J

My concern will be how to pass the parameters (for language or country) from the Portal to the Webchannel b2b... So, you end up having an URL iView for each different locale .  Can we pass such information programatically form portal to webchannel? Say through http header / cookies? That will be seamless..
But to answer your question, yes, URL ISA iView is pretty common if you have only very few languages.  More importantly, if you want deep integration with the portal, you must use  ISA iView configuration provided by SAP, then this is the only way. See [Note 1021959 - Portal settings for ISA iViews|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1021959] for details of the available features.

  • Replication Error in Quotation from CRM to ECC

    Hi All,
This is regarding the Replication error which we are getting in the Quotation/Orders in the CRM server, when the Quotation/Orders is getting replicated to ECC server.
    Let me explain the process,
We have the Internet Sales Application (ISA Version 5.0) implemented with B2B Scenario.
Dealers create Quotes from ISA for Configurable materials. The Configurable material has a "knowledge base" version already created in ECC in the table "SCEKB". Based on the configuration of the material, the knowledge base version of the material gets updated time to time.
When dealers create Quote for Configurable material from ISA, the latest "knowledge base" version gets determined in the Quotation. As a process, a new knowledge base version for the configurable is created for the material subsequently.
When Dealers are creating Orders for the Quotation from ISA, the order gets created in CRM server but does not get replicated to ECC due to the following error.
Internal error in communication between configuration and sales doc.CONFIGURATION_PROCESSING (Notification A V1 854)
    Item 000100 does not exist (Notification E V1 331).
We suspect that the Order when getting replicated to ECC, is trying to determine the latest "knowledge base" version in the system for the material and since there is a mis-match between the Order and the "SCEKB" table, the Order is not getting replicated to ECC.
Can someone tell me how to suppress the above error and get the Order replicated to ECC without any issues.
    Thanks,
    Ravi

    Hi Ravi,
Did you managed to get a solution for this?
We have a similiar situation, can you please provide an input if you have any?
    Thanks,
    Sindhur.

  • User Proxy Settings

Is there any way of forcing the proxy username and password to be the login name and password. The problem I have is students not clicking the save to keychain clickbox, then using other peoples proxy login and password as it may have different permissions.
On windows this comes from the active directory, is there a similar setting I can set on the Mac?
    Many Thanks

Microsoft ISA can authenticate via various means including your mentioned AD, Kerberos and various LDAP schemes, which implies there's a problematic authentication means here or there's a misconfiguration of some sort. This particularly if the users are re-using previous credentials; that's (badness) occurring out at the ISA box.
I'm not an ISA expert, and I'm not at all current on Microsoft technologies. You might want to check in a more Microsoft-focused forum, and particularly search for discussions of operating ISA with Linux (yes, Linux), Unix, or Mac OS X clients; with non-Microsoft platforms.
Based on some digging, it looks like MCX might be your path forward if you want to get Mac OS X hard-wired with these and not go near the ISA box configuration; the 10.6 Proxies set-up does provide for proxy credentials, and the path into that storage (if you're auto-configuring) is usually via the user's input or via MCX.
This possibly in conjunction with the [WPAD proxy autoconfiguration|http://tips4macosx.blogspot.com/2009/07/use-web-proxy-auto-di scovery-in-safari.html] setting. (And there's an interesting thread [here|http://forums.isaserver.org/m2002033963/mpage_1/key/tm.htm#2002033963] related to proxy authentication)
Check with the Microsoft ISA folks and forums, too. This can't be the first time they've encountered Linux (and I'd start there, with this question; most any "foreign" system OS will do for the purposes of the initial question) or Mac OS X boxes.

  • [solved automagically]dvd burner detected... but I can not burn! :(

    Hi!
In the latests kernel upgrades (3 or 4 weeks) I lost my dvd burn capabilities...
    it was working previously...
apparently dvd drive is detected properly, I can see dvd contents, etc... but brasero do not give me an option to burn on it (just shows .iso file)
that is happening in my desktop, and laptop too.... any idea?

  • CRM Internet Sales 4.0

    Hi !
Would anyone know how to uninstall a CRM Internet Sales project ? For example a 'sandpit' type B2C project. Is it using the Buildtool ? Where can I find information regarding this ?
    Cheers,
    Ashok.

    Hi,
This tip relates only to J2EE Engine.
First check settings at ISA Extendend Configuration Management (XCM) Administration to make sure that there is no conflicts after removal.
Then You can remove B2C from J2EE Engine by opening J2EE Engine visual administrator and go to server services and choose deploy.
At runtime page open ejb container and choose B2C. On the right side of screen there are button stop application (press it) and remove (press it).
    Hope this helps,
    Jari

  • TMG 2010 Array Brings down the entire internal network

Ok, so this is a weird as it sounds.
We've been working with ISA and TMG since 2004, this is the first time I've seen this kind of behavior. Let me explain the details.
We implemented 3 TMG 2010 Servers in an Array and 2 EMS Servers on Windows Server 2008 R2. Each TMG Server has 4 NICs (Internal, External, DMZ-Intra-array). At first we wanted to enable them with an F5 Hardware Load Balancer but after weeks of trying to
make them work together we couldn't (SNAT and routing issues related), so we tried using Windows NLB but had problems with the Multicast configuration using VMWare and after some other battles we decided to first try out just using one TMG Server as the main
one to try to make it work. The customer we are implementing this is currently using ISA 2006 and they wanted to upgrade to TMG 2010 using basically the same stuff as their ISA had, so we backed up that configuration and imported it into TMG without problems.
We added the TMG Servers on the EMS configuration and everything replicated just fine.
Since they already had IPS, Cisco ASAs and Ironports as Proxy they decided to disable NIS, Malware inspection, Flood Mitigation and all those things TMG has for better securing Internet traffic.
The firewall policy rules are about 100 and they have 3 publishing rules to HTTPS Services.
So after making the necessary configuration changes to the TMG infrastructure, we then decided to unplug the ISA Servers, change the TMG servers IP Address to the ISA Server ones and test to see if everything worked just as ISA Server did. However it didn't.
At first we have issues related to slow internet traffic, after troubleshooting for some time we ended up finding out that the Source IP used by TMG was different that the one ISA was using, even if the same IP was configured in the NIC and the other IPs
were configured as alternate. We found out after some searching that Windows Server 2008 R2 uses some RFC and manipulates the IP Address on a NIC in a way that 2003 didn't. We found out that we needed to add the other IPs via Netsh int ipv4 add address
    <Interface Name> <ip address> skipassource=true
After that configuration we got things working fine... for a while, several hours later, servers started losing connectivity, switches stopped responding and the entire network was collapsed! After unplugging the TMG Servers, everything returned back to
normal.  We though this was a issue related to drivers or something to do with VMWare plataform, so it was decided to reinstall everything on physical servers.
After some days of reconfiguring again TMG Servers, we made the switch again, unplugged the ISA Servers, configured the TMG with the ISA IP Addresses, did the NETSH thing and then tested out everything and everything worked.
But again hours later the same behavior appeared once more! Servers and switches stopped responding and the entire network went down once more! Again we unplugged the TMG Servers and everything returned back to normal!
So here we are, back to square one with no clue on what is causing this behavior on the network. The current physical servers are running HP 3666i 4 multiport 10Gb NICs, we don't know if that has something to do with this. Or the fact the the switch core
to which the TMG servers are directly connected to is a Nexus 7000 and there is some configuration issues with it against the TMG or something. The TMGs are patched with Service Pack 2 Update Rollup 5.
We are probably going to open a support case with Microsoft with this issue, but we first wanted to see if anyone else may have had, seen or heard something related to this and has an explanation or ideas on why is this happening.
    I appreciate any replies.
    Thank you all.
    Eduardo Rojas

Hi, I belive your TMG is virtual and NLB is setup. If so you need to bind the physical swith port with NLB MAK address in multicaste mode. Let's take an example, if your internal NLB physical NIC is connected to swith port 1 and 2 then you need to manually
bind the NLB MAK to port 1 and 2 like wise for all NLB enabled zone.Read VM ware NLB as they support multicaste in virtual. So do not use unicaste in NLB if it's virtual. All should be okay with the above configuration.

  • Extra keyboard keys not detected

How do I get them working?
I read Extra Keyboard Keys and tried:
    # showkey --scancodes
but that doesn't produce any (for those extra keys) output either.
I had them working a while ago, except .. that was Windows (XP).

  • Configuring CRM business Package - 4.0 60.2.3 and ISA on EP6SP11

    Hi all,
We have installed CRM business Package - 4.0 60.2.3 on EP6 SP11. For which we have created SAP_CRM system, filled in the all required parameters like application host, gateway service, client no, user authentication type etc.( Not ISA related parameters).
Now some of the iViews throws "GenericISAComponent" error. I suppose its because we haven't configure ISA system for the same.
Can anybody help me in how to configure ISA System for CRM business package. Do i have to create new system or i have to fill in ISA parameters of SAP_CRM system.
    Thanks and regards,
    Prath.

    Hello James,
    Thanks for the prompt reply...
But my question is whether I have to make these changes in SAP_CRM system itself or should i create new system namely ISA_B2B,SHOP_ADMIN,ISA_B2R etc.
    With regards,
    Amol.
Note : If you have already configured the CRM business package, please send me the documentation or the screen-shots of the system defined in portal on my e-mail id([email protected])

  • ISA Framework:[XCM configuration]='zcrmordermaintain002' does not exist.

    Hi all,
While configuring a configurable product in service order and service quotation i am getting this error.
" ISA Framework: The XCM configuration='zcrmordermaintain002' does not exist."
When i simulate the configuration itself in product master it works fine but the mentioned error occurs
when i try to edit the product model in the Service Quotation.
I have already maintain a JCO connection for "Zcrmordermaintain002" and "Zcrmproductsimulation002 " and made an entry of it in the Table "COMM_IPC_PROP".  Do is miss some other entries ?
Please help me to fix the error.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Regards,

    Hi experts,
I am able to see the Product Configuration in the Business Transactions
In my case there were two mistakes.
Instead of Zcrmordermaintain002 i had configuration as zcrmordermaintain002.
I guess it should be the problem but i regenerated it.
Secondly i created 2 separate JCO connections for zcrmproductsimulation and for zcrmordermaintan002.
For me it worked dat way...
But the further Problem what i am facing is:
When i select the configuration in the transaction it is not saving and it show a script error in the explorer
    Stating:
Error on the page : Access Denied
    Code: 0
Any Suggestion what could be the problem ?
    Regards,

  • Intel EtherExpress Pro/10+ ISA finds, but won't configure

Okay, I know that the Intel Ether Express Pro/10+ PCI cards are supported by Sol 8/IA, and I am trying to use an ISA card... is there any way to make it work?
I have done an install with 'no network', done a sys-unconfig, done a reconfig boot -- all like the help instructions say to do if you have an unsupported NIC card, but I still cannot get it to work. It says that it fails to set the IP address (and yes, it is a unique IP).
Any suggestions as to how I can make this card work?
I have also tried 3Com 3C905B PCI and cannot get it to work either. I have no problems with the Intel card working in other O/Ses... but can't seem to get any O/S to like the 3Com card.
    Ideas, suggestions, etc?
    Thanks!

Try this workaround for this issue for 3com NIC card.
    Step 1.
    Create a file /etc/hostname.elxl0
    Step 2.
Edit /etc/hostname.elxl0 file and add the hostname entry in to this file
    Example:
    osiris
    Step 3.
Edit /etc/hosts file and add IP address and hostname entry in to this file.
    129.158.230.190 osiris
    Step 4
Reboot the system with reconfiguration option.
    b -r
if it is not successful try for another workaroud.
Step 1. Insert the 3COM NIC card in to the system.
    Step 2: prtconf -v | grep pci
    Example:
    prtconf -v shows:
    pci8086,7112
    pci8086,7113
    pci8086,5345
    pci10b7,1000 <- 3com
Step 3. In file /etc/driver_aliases, look for the driver that matched the
    chipset
on the card. One of them is elxl for the 3com chipset.
    Example:
    /etc/driver_aliases:
    elx "pci10b7,5900"
    elx "pci10b7,5950"
    elxl "pci10b7,9000"
    elxl "pci10b7,9001"
    elxl "pci10b7,9050"
    elxl "pci10b7,9055"
    elxl "pci10b7,9056"
    elxl "pci10b7,9004"
    elxl "pci10b7,9005"
    elxl "pci10b7,9006"
    add elxl "pci10b7,1000"
Step 4. Add the vendor/ID that the Plug-and-Play BIOS startup message displayed
for this card like this: elxl "pci10b7,1000" This will support
    the NIC
    in Solaris.
Step 5. Add the following lines to support the card in Device Configuration
    Assistant:
    Example:
    pci10b7,1000 pci10b7,1000 net pci elxl.bef "3COM 3C980B TX"
Add the entries in /boot/solaris/devicedb/master file, under PCI
    devices
    section
    Step 6. Run "devlinks".
Step 7. Reboot the system with b -r option.
    Hope it helps.
