ISA not supported

I am porting some C and C++ code over to the Solaris 8 Intel platform. The code compiles fine on Linux X86 and Solaris 8 Sparc platforms using gcc. However on Intel Solaris using gcc, I get a warning (which seems to be more like an error since my programs starts with an immediate segmentation fault) that reports: "372 #error ISA not supported". All I know, this error is refering to the the file /usr/include/sys/isa_defs.h header file. So does anyone one know what to do here? Does Solaris 8 need a patch, does the header file need to be configure for the Intel platform....etc. I would really appreciate any help anyone might have!!!

sounds like "something" may not have been understood during compilation - like the program things it has been built for wrong instuction set architecture Does the makefile have flags that assume that Solaris equates to Sparc?
Try starting the program under truss to see what breaks - may give further clues

Adobe photoshop elements 13 trial version will not work on windows XP. Does this mean that if I purchase the full version, this also will not work on XP?

Podcast will not show in Safari???

This maybe should be posted in another forum but here I am. 8D
I can't seem to get any podcast to work... all i ever get is the
Q graphic. I can play m4v files in Itunes no problem but not through Safari off the web.
Is there some settings somewhere I'm missing ... I've looked in Itunes, Q time and Safari but nothing seems to jump at me as a settings problem.
I'm experiencing the same problem with some eMacs as well.
I have some machines that seem to work fine but others????

I discovered that if we bypass our proxy for our local web server address the podcast will play in safari. We can't play a podcast from an outside source.
It's my opinion that apple needs to look into the problem.
I have no problem playing podcast on winows os local or outside. I'm not sure where the porblem is ... ISA not working with Safari or Safari not working with ISA or who knows what????
I do know that Firefox doesn't seem to have a problem with playing podcast through our ISA server... windows or mac os.
This is turning from a some machines it works others it doesn't they all seem to be affected like this for me... the machines that were working, were bypassing the proxy and playing the local podcast (which is how we discovered the bypass fix) .... I need both local and outside to work.
We are again considering dropping Safari and going with Firefox... I'm currently trying to be sure there are no reasons NOT to do this..... I have 800+ users here ... and little time to work on this.... got a mess on my hands atm.
So we are currently working a single user images for logging into the various Macs, with a script after log in to set up user rights and home folders on the network etc...

I've set up the login module to used basic and thats working fine and we have the ISA box passing a basic auth, but its putting domain\userid:password
is there a way in the J2EE basicauthentication module to have it strip off the "domain\" when it sees it. We've sniffed the network and if we can get either ISA not to pass the domain, or the portal to strip it we will have proxy authentication from ISA..
any ideas?

I am trying to create a customer who is also a Vendor.The System is showing two error message.
1.Customer 300002 is not linked to vendor 204.
2.Clearing Indicator is not set in clearing account 300002 in Company Code HLL.
Pls help me to resolve the issue.

1) In the vendor master which you want to link with the customer there will be field for customer in the control tab for the general data. here key in the customer master.
2) In the vendor master in the company code segment and Payement transaction tab check box for clearing with customer
3)In the customer master which you want to link with the vendor there will be field for vendor in the control tab for the general data. here key in the vendorIn master
4) In the customer master in the company code segment and Payement transaction tab check box for clearing with vendor
Note if the field for clearing with vendor/customer isa not active then activate it in the respective vendor account groups(OBD3) /customer account groups (OBD2)

SAP has confirmed to me that there is NOT a CRM6/7 ISA Best Practices guide.
We used the C14_BB_ConfigGuide from our CRM4 Best Practices install and made some assumptions on what had changed. I do not think this is still available here and am not sure if I am able to send it to anyone. Someone from SAP or an Admin can tell us.
I also found here the following docs that have bits and pieces of the puzzle.

Customers not able to log in with Microsoft ISA server firewall.

I have a few external customers that are having issues logging in. In all cases it is with the customer having Microsoft ISA firewalls.
They can get to the site. They put in their username and password. The screen flashes back to the logon screen, no errors, just back to the screen.
On the logs I seen the logon page request and the 200 OK but, the username and password never come across.
I can not tell if the username and password are being blocked by the ISA server or when the logon screen is presented that the username and password fields are just not active.
Has anyone else see or hear about this one?

We are seeing a slightly different problem but certainly related. We are using a SAP cFolder server for PLM collaboration. Companies using a Microsoft ISA server are not seeing problems logging in but are seeing problems with the mass download feature. They are seeing the connection hang. Looking at the ISA log file on the server they are receiving an authentication problem and a broken connection. If you try a single file download everything works OK. Also vendors without ISA are working fine.
What is it about ISA that would be causing issues like these?

ISA: catalog not available -- FM for determining available catalogs

Hello guys,
we're currently implementing CRM e-commerce (ISA). When logging on to the web shop, an error message "The catalog that you have selected is currently unavailable; try again later " occurs.
I searched the existing forum entries and found some similar issues, however, non of the given solution solved my problem. Furthermore I've found note 980678 dealing with this, however - again, the problem still persists.
I assume that this is not a technical issue but has something to do with the catalog determination depending on the currently logged in business partner. Thus, I searched for function modules dealing with this, found CRM_ISACAT and CRMISAICAT, still no solution.
I'd appreciate any hints on how to continue analysing this problem.

ISA invoice detail does not display data R/3 E-commerce 5.0

I´m using R/3 Internet Sales B2B.
I´m in area for search transactions and I have selected invoices, credit memos or down payments. When I click one of these documents, the system does not display any data in the detail screen.

ISA : Date on Delivery Notes

Hi all,
We are working on ISA 5.0 and CRM 5.0.
When we open an order in our internet shop, for each item we can see the delivery note number, a date and the quantity delivered. We have realized that the date displayed corresponds to the planned good movement from delivery note; we'd like to know how to change standard behaviour in order to display the real good movement date and not the planned date.

I don't see why DST would be the problem, perhaps depending on your timezone. It would alter your expectations one way or another by 1 hour, generally. The active note gets a date stamp as though the phone was set to UTC/GMT, yet the time stamp is local time, and for me that date occurs <= seven hours later depending on when I create the note.
Since Nokia support is unable to deal with this (I don't think they understand the problem) I am wondering where I can take this issue. I wonder if they have a place for filing bugs, ala bugzilla.

While configuring a configurable product in service order and service quotation i am getting this error.
" ISA Framework: The XCM configuration='zcrmordermaintain002' does not exist."
When i simulate the configuration itself in product master it works fine but the mentioned error occurs
when i try to edit the product model in the Service Quotation.
I have already maintain a JCO connection for "Zcrmordermaintain002" and "Zcrmproductsimulation002 " and made an entry of it in the Table "COMM_IPC_PROP". Do is miss some other entries ?
Please help me to fix the error.

Hi experts,
I am able to see the Product Configuration in the Business Transactions
In my case there were two mistakes.
Instead of Zcrmordermaintain002 i had configuration as zcrmordermaintain002.
I guess it should be the problem but i regenerated it.
Secondly i created 2 separate JCO connections for zcrmproductsimulation and for zcrmordermaintan002.
For me it worked dat way...
But the further Problem what i am facing is:
When i select the configuration in the transaction it is not saving and it show a script error in the explorer
Stating:
Error on the page : Access Denied
Code: 0
Any Suggestion what could be the problem ?

ISA 7.0 - Advanced search not picking up additional attributes

We are in the process of implemting ISA 7.0 (SP 16) aka E-Commerce for ERP - B2B senario. We have defined additional attributes (using the BADI during replication) for ISA 7.0 These can now be seen in the product details on ISA. However adding the bigSearch (below) or the advanceSearch (below) to the property file crmisaisacore~resources_en.properties does not display the additional searchable attributes. Anybody know what else I need to do ? Does this require modification/enhancement on the ISA Java side ?

PCI IDE-controllers are NOT ISA

I have a problem with Device Configuration Assistant.
After I had a crash last week I could not boot Solaris 8 anymore, during boot I got the ussual fsck errors saying I needed to 'fsck -F ufs /dev/rdsk/c0d0s0' but when I tried to do so I would get the message /dev/rdsk/c0d0s0 was not accessible.
Strangly enough when I booted with the DCA floppy that comes with Solaris 8 I had no problems at all.
Apparantly for some reason the DCA on the disk always identifies my onboard-IDE controllers wrongly as being ISA whereas the floppy correctly identifies them as being PCI. Therefor when I boot from DCA on disk I get a boot path starting with /isa and not /pci but trying to boot with the correct path will not work since this device is not in the /devices tree.
I removed all devices from DCA (except for the motherboard-driver which can not be removed) and let DCA find them again ... with no change.
I can still boot from floppy but really hope someone can give me an idea on how to fix it. I tried copying the mboot in /usr/lib/fs with 'fdisk -b ...' but that did not help either.
Anyone have an idea ? I think it's a bug but maybe someone can suggest a workaround - I guess...booting from floppy could be considered one :-( ?

ps: the motherboard is a 440BX-2 from Intel and it has worked well with Solaris 8 for the past 2 months.
ps2: reinstalling Solaris is not something I am looking forward to because of all the extra stuff I had to put in to get my video-card working , etc ... got two other OS's on the same disk too begging to make my life even more miserable :-)
ps3: is there a way to copy and use the contents of the floppy as masterboot on the disk ?

If the problem is with boot path then you can specify the proper boot path in /etc/system file. Make an entry in /etc/system file as
rootdev:/xxx.......

ISA 500 Series DHCP Options 66,67 and 150 does NOT work

Options 66,67 and 150 on both the ISA 550 and 570 does not work. I've tested it and ran a packet capture, there's nothign showing these options being issues by a client ACK.
Has anyone have this working as yet, see image for an example

I use option 66 on ISA 550 1.2.15 When you do packet capture are you seeing other dhcp items as expected?
