ISA server 2006 crashed after some times :(
Hello.
My ISA server is crashed. For
example when my clients upload files to a remote server my upload speed is Reduced and
server crashed :(. How can I troubleshoot it? It is
ver vital for me and my clients are upset.
Thank you and cheers.
1. Some more information is needed. Your description of proble is incomplete and no one can guess what has happened.
2. Find some material evidence - like Event logs and fw logs
3. There is a special diskussion on ISA server in forum
http://forums.isaserver.org/ and trobleshooting procedures in
http://www.isaserver.org/
4. For troubleshooting read

IPhoto uses 100% CPU and crashes after some time even when idle
Hi
I need some help with iPhoto. It consistently crashes after running for sometime even if left idle over night. Following advice from the community, I've done the following so far:
Repaired Permissions
Fix Library
Rebuild Library
Disable All email accounts
Disable Photostream
Disable iTune sharing for the Apple TV
Remove ~\Library\Preferences\com.apple.iPhoto* preferences
Remove \Library\Cache\com.apple.iPhoto
Restarted in Safe mode (to solve another issue)
I'm using Mac OS X 10.8.2 (12C60) and iPhoto v9.4.1 (701.67), and the crash report is below.
Any suggestions for additional steps, will be greatly appreciated.

Sun One Web Server connection pool goes stale after some time
Hi all,
I have a few web applications running on Sun One Web Server 6.1 (SP4). I configured a connection pool via the web admin of the web server. I do not know why the connections in the connection pool are never released after some time (this happened for 3 times with a couple of months in between). I need to reboot the web server to solve this problem everytime the connection pool goes stale. I have verified that the resources are released (stream and connection are closed) with proper programming logic. Even so, I think that the connections will be timed out (the setting is 5 minutes) by the web server as a bulletproof even if the resource is not released properly as implemented in the code logic. Can anybody help on this? I have been troubled by this problem by weeks.

WL 10.3 - Quartz's jobs stops after some time of correct executing
Hi,
I have a webapp (backend only) that is deployed on WebLogic 10.3 AS. In this webapp 5 quartz's job are executed (cron trigger). Two of them run 3 times a day, the next two of them execute every 5 seconds and the last one starts every 20 seconds.
The problem is that after some time of correct execution (about 20 min.) one on the jobs hangs on, then after some time (about 10 min.) the second one hangs on and finally only one of job (it's always the "20" second job) executes correct for a long time, then also stops. Above, concerns the only the "5" and "20" seconds jobs. All of the jobs are stateful and Oracle DB is used for synchronisation.
In DB I see that "TRIGGER_STATE" in "TRIGGERS" tables has value of "BLOCKED" for the jobs that hang on. Whenever the job crashes I see the following entry in the WL's log:
####<2011-05-30 08:50:11 CEST> <Info> <RJVM> <server_name> <AdminServer> <[ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '5' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)'> <<WLS Kernel>> <> <> <1306738211453> <BEA-000513> <Failure in heartbeat trigger for RJVM: -6468277378824263512S:127.0.1.1:[7001,7001,-1,-1,-1,-1,-1]:test_domain:test-server

I use my own implementation of scheduler to start the jobs at the deploy time. Jobs are also always unscheduled when the app is undeployed. After undeploying all entries from quartz's tables are erased excepting the one in "SCHEDULER_STATE" table.
The webapp is tested standalone but it will be in the production environment it will be clustered (two nodes).
What can cause the problem? And how to solve it?
Below is my quartz.properties file as it's deployed with webapp:

HI
I created a web application and configured rbs storage ,
I uploaded documents (for ex: 18 number)
after uploaded documents , and observed the RBS storage folder, number of files are increasing (39 number) , its working fine
and also I run the querys to check the rows increasing or not , (when I upload new doc rows are increased its fine also)
select count(*) from alldocs
Select count(*) from AllDocstreams
but when I delete some docs from document library ,
1)the doc itself deleted from document library
2)when I check the rbs storage there is no number of files are decreased(its still 39 files ), its same as before doc deleted from doc library
after some time I found the number of files are decreasing from RBS storage folder in sql server,
here I want to know the how the files are decreasing from RBS storage after some time, where shld I check the settings for this? and how I control on it
here how I know the settings for cleaning up orphan BLBOS how these deleted BLOB
adil1. WHen you delete the file from Sharepoint, it is still present in Recycle bin. This is a default setting in sharepoint for 30 days. Once files are deleted fro Recycle bin, it can also be delete from RBS
2. There is a RBS cleanup job which deletes files from RBS. for more info check

RMI UnmarshalException Occurs after some time
Hi,
I have a client server application that talks via rmi. My client saves data to a server or gets data by passing in parameters that include string, boolean and a Hashtable. The data is saved and retrieved many times. However, after some time, the RMI can't even find the method. 9iAS R2 - Windows XP - IE hangs after some time
Hi,
We are using Oracle 9iAS on Windows XP client PCs. Application runs fine, however after some time, application hangs and IE session does not respond and we cannot do anything else but to end the ie task from task manager.
It looks like Application loses connection with the database server and stops responding.
Whether anyone faced similar problems and have found out any soutions?Hi irvine74,
I am also experiencing the same problem while using Oracle Application Server 10gR2 on Windows 2000 Adv. Server and the clients are using IE on Windows XP.
1). Would u share ur experience in more detail.
2). which version of Mozilla is perfect with Windows XP 2002 SP 2.
3). Either I have to install Mozilla or FireFox.
PLS describe the Full version of Browser.
Thanks and Looking Forward.

Can anyone help me?Dear Tim,
I saw your message. Below are the problems:
Whenever I connect my iphone 3GS to my PC through a USB. My itunes software comes up automatically.
1. After that a message appears from the itunes that states that 'itunes could not connect to the itunes store, an unknown error cccured (306).
2. After the above, an alert message comes up which states that A new iphone software version 5.1 is availlable for my iphone. It then states would you like to download it and update your iphone now? With the options buttons as Cancel or Download and Update or Download Only. Whenever I clicked on Download and Update or Download Only, the next message that comes up is that The iphone Software Update Server Could not be Contacted and suggest make sure your network setting are correct and active or try again later.
The above is the challenges I am facing now. -

There is currently no mechanism for reducing the connection pool size after a period of high activity. Recently this has been frequently requested and as such will be implemented in the next production release.
<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote:</font><HR>We have verified this in manual testing. However, when the load tool script exits it doesn't seem to release resources. We know this because we keep seeing our database connections go up and up as more tests are run. Further, we also seem to see more than one connection per "virtual user". For example, when I connect 5 users to the app in manual testing, I get 5 connections. But, when we run a test using the tool, we get 395 database sessions for 200 users. We are having a bit of difficulty understanding why the behavior is different.<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>
Assuming that the you are performing your manual testing against the same instance of the application on which you are performing your load testing, I would assume that the connections are being released to the pool at the end of the request. One possible reason for the approximate 2:1 ratio between connections and virtual users may be BC4J's use of internal connections. What version of BC4J are you using?
BC4J requires an internal connection to support state management and spill to disk. The internal connections are pooled with the transaction connection and only held for the duration of the persistence operation. However, if the web server is very busy then a large number of synchronous persistence requests may be received which would explain the eventual 2:1 ratio in the pool's high water mark.
If the user start times and think times are staggered in order to reduce the incidence of synchronous persistence requests does the ratio of connections to web sessions stabilize at some lower number (i.e. 1.5:1) -
Hello,
How can I determine how our ISA Server 2006 boxes are being utilized within our organization? The original Exchange 2003 admin left the company years ago and now I am here trying to prepare for our upgrade to Exchange 2010.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
SandyLook at the firewall logs (for ALL traffic) to see if there is any activity at all for a period of time.
This should be sufficient to determine if the box is still be used at all.

IE prompts credentials after some time and we get error rsHttpRuntimeClientDisconnectionError
Hi all,
Windows Server 2012
Reporting Services 2012 SP2
Internet Explorer 8
After some time running a report the end user is asked for his credentials again with the authentication prompt.
In the ExecutionLog we see the Client (IE) has its connection disconnected =
rsHttpRuntimeClientDisconnectionError
The server parameter are attached:
We appreciate any clue.
Thanks,
Alex Berenguer
Alex BerenguerHi Alex,
Per my understanding that you are running the report for sometime an then IE prompt for credential and you to this kind of error, right?
Based on my research, the "rsHttpRuntimeClientDisconnectionError" error may occur if:
Reporting Services creates the report and then goes to send it back to the client
Reporting Services finds out that the connection has been closed and responds with the disconnection error.
To resolve the issue, we can try to modify the TCP profile applied to the VIP.
Additionally, the issue may also occur due to a RESET coming from something between Report Server and the custom application. For example, an F5 NLB times these connections out on the either an HTTP or TCP level.
If your problem still exists, please also check if you will got the same problem on the other browser(firefox),you can also provide us more details information about the
TimeDataRetrieval,TimeProcessing,TimeRendering in the ExecutionLog table.

Email disappear from Z10 after some time
My Z10 OS is 10.2.1.2141. When I only have handheld on, email appears. I didn't open the messages. After some time (not sure the exact time, perhaps a hour or so), my messages got deleted from the Z10. I then opened my email client on my computer desktop, it never download the messages. It looks like the messages were deleted from the mail server via Z10. This happen ever since I upgraded my Z10 OS.
I had removed my email setup in Z10 and reset it. It doesn't seem to solve this problem.
In the 'Display and Actions', I had set the 'Messages' with 'Delete on Prompt'.More info to my trial to bypass the problem. I had deleted my email and recreated by setting 'Email SYNC timeframe to FOREVER'. Now my email stays with my handheld a bit longer than before - several more hours regardless I opened the email in the handheld or not. The nightmare is that those email also got deleted from my email server. I then no longer to access those email through Outlook.
