ISDN and Dial up Network

Dear Sirs,
I have an ISDN network as the following:
Main office :
Cisco router 2821
Hwic-1CE1T1-PRI
Branches :
- Cisco router 1841
- WIC-BRI- S/T -V3
After I complete the configuration all branches working well but I can't add new branches because there is no ISDN lines available in these places just I found Telephone line (Dial up).
The problem is what I need to add in the main router ( Hardware and configuration) to make the main router accept the dial up calling ?
Find the attached image about the network which I need.
Note:
ISDN branches are working well only the dial up branch (PC) is not working yet.

About the PVDM2-xDM where can I install it? on motherboard inside 2811 router ? and what hub did you mean ?

In the branches I want to use the personal computer ( Win XP ) because in some branches just we have 1 computer .

Dial-up networking implementation

Hi,
I'm currently developing an application that requires dial-up to a RAS server. Client hardware requirements for this app are windows box with either USB/Serial modem or ISDN connection.
Client app will be driven with Swing GUI but I need help on the dial-up part.
My questions are:
1. What kind of technology JAVA provides in regards to dial-up programming? I've considered commAPI but apparently this only work for serial modems only.
2. Can I use JTAPI to setup the dial-up and connection with either modem or ISDN?
3. Or can I use JNI to call windows native dial-up control from my application? If so how?
Glad if someone out there can at answer part of my queries?

How to terminate Windows dial-up Network session

Need help terminating a Windows dial-up network session from my Java application demo. The application runs on an unattended PC and periodically initiates a Dial-Up networking session, in order to send an email.
I'm binding a Process variable to the output from...

The Windows dial-up session starts OK and the mail message is successfully sent. However, when I try to terminate the dial-up session using...
<process>.destroy()
...it does not terminate the Windows dial-up session.

ADSL and dialer interface

Hi
I was wondering if you can use things such as dialer watch when you use a dialer interface on an ADSL connection. I have an ADSL connection I don't want used unless my main leased line goes down so I want to keep the interface down until needed. I'll get a chance to test this later this week but would be interested if anyone knows the answer beforehand.

The configuration is;
A site has a leased line terminating on a router intended to take all traffic to and from a site under normal circumstances. There is another router on the site with an ADSL line intended as a backup to the leased line. So for traffic leaving that site I can easily choose that it goes via the leased line. The ADSL terminates on a particular BAS which receives a per-user static route from a radius server once ppp authentication occers.
Now, a second site only has an ADSL line. It terminates on the same BAS. So when traffic from that site hits the BAS going to the site with ADSL as backup it sees a static route with an AD of 1 via what is supposed to be the backup ADSL line and it sends traffic that way. If the backup ADSL line wasn't up there is another route that will go to a PE and over the leased line. The radius server is sending the per-user static route with an AD of 210 but the BAS seems to ignore this and installs it with AD of 1 hence beating the dynamic protocol AD.
My thought was since the ADSL line is configured as a dialer we could try to emply some of the ISDN type dialer configurations to keep the line from coming up and authenticating until it is needed and therefore keeping the per user static route out of the BAS routing table until the line is needed.
I have no idea why the BAS is not accepting the AD of 210 supplied by Radius but I am not in control of that part of the circuit. I am in control of the ADSL router used for backup and as such hoped there was something I could do there to influence the problem. I could run a routing protocol but wanted to try and see if I could keep the ADSL down somehow first.

in new ccnp book i didnt see any thing about isdn and some object
even in ccna exam i didnt see any question about isdn and if i remember about frame-relay
what's your opinion?do you think isdn and frame-relay expire?is there any place for this technology on it nowadays?

Hi Reza,
if you are talking about new CCNP curriculum, then ISDN and Frame relay technologies are no longer included there. ISDN and Frame relay were included in the Remote access paper of CCNP old curriculum but now that paper is replaced by Secure Converged Wide Area Networks paper which includes MPLS, IPSec VPNs and other technologies.
But as Rick said in earlier post that ISDN and frame relay are still very much in use.

Bluetooth , iSync ... msg: dial up network? on KRZR K1m

When I iSync my moto KRZR K1m I get the message "dial-up network?" I must decide to "deny" or "grant" in order to sync . My previous phone Razr just did a blip sound at the start and end of iSync. What causes this message ? When I initialy paired the phone & mac , I chose not to make my phone a modem in the BT set-up process. Could this have something to do with it ?

Figured it out. It was in BT link / device history / edit / device details / Access : set to automatic.

Check this post, the dial assist is part of the iOS 7.1, according to page 49 of the iphone_user_guide
Make calls to your contacts and favorites while traveling abroad. (GSM) Go to Settings > Phone and turn on Dial Assist. Dial Assist automatically adds the prefix or country code for calls to the U.S.
This user had a similar problem and solved it by switching off the dial assist feature in Settings/Phone/Dial Assist

Updated bios via Live Update and now my Network card isn't detected

I have an msi Z87-GD65 Gaming Motherboard and I updated some drivers and the bios via msi Live Update 6 last night and now my computer refuses to recognize my network adapter. The adapter is a TRENDnet N600, plugs into PCIe if I'm not mistaken. Wifi if my only option with this computer, I can't use ethernet, so it's really important I get the network card working again. I have had zero issues with it until this.
The reason I was updating was to try to get my third monitor to work when plugged into the mobo, while my other two were plugged into the graphics card (which I also installed yesterday, but it's working fine). Note that it still was not working, but I had enabled the IGD Multi-Monitor from bios.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. I did try uninstalling the drivers but it still won't detect the network card. I also tried disconnecting and reconnecting the network card (and I cleaned the port for good measure).
I've only been using Windows computers for a year, so bear with me if there's stuff I don't know. Thanks in advance. I can try to get a full list of what was installed later tonight, but all of it that I can find has been uninstalled at this point.
Note: I did not flash the bios when I installed, which I have now heard is a bad idea, apparently. l:

I have a question...
I going to install two Nexus 7009 with three N7K-F248XP-25 modules on each one, I am planning to create 3 VDC, but at the initial configuration the system does not show the ethernets ports of these modules, even with the show inventory and show module I can see tah the modules are recognized and its status is OK. There is something that I have to do before start to configure these modules...? enable some feature or license in order to see the ports with show running CLI...?

I cant seem to fix this message when going online, nore have I managed to find any help with it.
everytime my imac27 2010 sleeps it goes offline then this message appears...

as a result I have to play around with "join other network" every time I want to join my own network.
it was so anoying that I decided to reinstall everything from scrach, so I backed everything to time machine. but I couldnt restore as im on snow leapard and dont have an original disc with me. I moved countries so the apple store isnt round the corner any more :/ (disc would need to be shipped in)
whats interesting in my mac did not have this wifi conection problem when I took it to another location. only from home. But every other devise does not have this problem even at home...
any help really appreciated

The interface that connects to the Internet should be dragged to the top of the list.

If using Wifi/Airport...
Instead of joining your Network from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed.
For 10.5/10.6/10.7/10.8, System Preferences>Network, unlock the lock if need be, highlight the Interface you use to connect to Internet, click on the advanced button, click on the DNS tab, click on the little plus icon, then add these numbers...

everytime i start my mac it asks for "Select a certificate or enter a name and password for network" and when i'll close it and reopen it, it still asks.
can somebody help with what am i suppose to do?

If you are currently showing WiFi status in the menu bar, you would see this icon:
If you see that near the top right corner, click it and choose "Join other network" from the drop down list.
If you do not see that icon, then go to System Preferences (under the Apple logo in the menu bar), ciick "Network", then choose "WiFi" and choose something (probably "Assist me" at the bottom) there.

Is the new photosmart premium with built-in Ethernet, WiFi 802.11n backward compatible on b/g wireless network? Will it connect wirelessly to my Linksys WiFi 802.11g network?

Yes, 802.11n devices, including our two new Photosmart Premium All-In-One printers, are compatible with 802.11g wireless networks.
A bit of background: the 802.11n standard that was just recently ratified mandates compatibility with 802.11g and 802.11b networks and devices. You can even mix devices on the same network. For example, you can setup a 802.11n network and connect both 802.11n and 802.11g devices and have the 802.11n devices run at 802.11n speeds.
You could also connect 802.11b devices to your 802.11n network though from a performance point of view, that isn't recommended. The presence of any 802.11b devices in vicinity of 802.11g or 802.11n networks degrades those networks.
