ISE 1.2 redirect to origin URL after successful login

Hi, is there a possibility to redirect guests to the URL they tiped in, before they had to authenticate? We're running ISE 1.2., the webserver is running on it and after login the user has to retype the URL he wants to visit.. it would be great if the user would be automatically redirected..

ISE is set up to do this with the latest patch (Patch 5). Now we are just waiting on new code for the rest of the NADs to implement this.
Actually, support was added to 1.2 P5, but it is up to access devices to add the support for forwarding the URL in redirect request to ISE. I believe WLC will be first to do so in 8.0 timeframe.

The first method is local web authentication. In this case, the WLC redirects the HTTP traffic to an internal or external server where the user is prompted to authenticate. The WLC then fetches the credentials (sent back via an HTTP GET request in the case of an external server) and makes a RADIUS authentication. In the case of a guest user, an external server (such as Identity Services Engine (ISE) or NAC Guest Server (NGS)) is required because the portal provides features such as device registering and self-provisioning. The flow includes these steps:
The user associates to the web authentication Service Set Identifier (SSID).
The user opens the browser.
The WLC redirects to the guest portal (such as ISE or NGS) as soon as a URL is entered.
The user authenticates on the portal.

The user opens the browser.
The WLC redirects to the guest portal.
The user authenticates on the portal.
The ISE sends a RADIUS Change of Authorization (CoA - UDP Port 1700) to indicate to the controller that the user is valid, and eventually pushes RADIUS attributes such as the Access Control List (ACL).
The user is prompted to retry the original URL.

Redirect to custom url after successful authentication by OAM

Hello,
I need to redirect the user to some custom url instead of original requested url after successful authentication in OAM 11.1.2 (11g release2).
The requirement in my case is depending upon the user type and the region(one of the user's ldap attributes) it belongs to, it should be redirected to one of the 2 available applications.
I have tried implementing the same using custom authentication plugin in which I have used RedirectionActionContext class.
I have also tried setting plugin response as REDIRECT and specifying the custom page url.
I have also tried changing the "resource_url" parameter in authentication context.
However, none of above approaches are working.
Can anybody help me?

ISE Guest Access- Redirect to URL after successful logon

Currently, when guest users attempt to browse they get redirected to the guest portal. After login, they get a message that they can now access the original URL. Is there a way to automatically redirect to the URL they were trying to access, or remember the URL after they login?

Black screen after successful login into Remote Session

Hi,
I am having windows 8.1 pro(64bit) and windows 7 pro(64bit) machines using which i am trying to connect to a remote VM with windows 7 enterprise through vpn client 5(64bit). After successful login, BLACK SCREEN with Connection bar is displayed. Ctrl+Alt+End
did not work.
In fact, a strange behaviour experienced. After failing once, i tried again with IP address instead of host name. Bingo, it works well. Then disconnect and try to reconnect, problem repeats. What i mean is, the problem is neither Consistent not persistent.
I am frustrated trying to solve the issue. Blogs, forums, communities.... where ever what ever solutions suggested, tried without any luck. Any help please ? Thanks in advance.

From your description it seems that you facing Black screen issue, but when you tried with IP address you can logon to the remote session but during reconnection issue repeats. Correct me if misunderstand your case.
From last how may days you are facing this issue?
Can you find any suitable error\event ID for this case?
For this firstly please check that you have proper connectivity between systems. Please check that you can Ping successfully to the remote system with IP address and hostname.
Might this issue caused by some stopped service “Desktop window manager session” which stop after RDP login. You can check the status as follow.
1. After the issue appear, please use RDP connect to the computer again and check the Desktop Window Manager Session Manager service status.
2. Then, please restar the computer and check System Event log to check if has a Desktop Window Manager Session Manager service error.

Guest Portal appears again after successful login

I'm setting a Wireless Guest with a WLC 5508 (7.3) and ISE (1.1.2) -- (no anchor).
It appears to work (still some adjustments are required), but I found when the guest user log in, it receives the successful login screen and inmediately the guest portal again. If another browser window or tab is open, the user can browse properly.
I think I'm missing something.

Sorry for the delay! Were you able to figure out what was/is causing this? I have done many deployments and never had this issue before, unless something was misconstrued in a custom HTML portal. Couple of more questions:
1. Do you have the latest patch installed
2. Have you tried adding a new portal based on the pre-built templates and try it again

Hi Gurus,
I hav IE6.0 on my system with a localhost installed(EP6.0).The other configuration are: OS Windows XP Professional and Oracle 9.x on my PC. It is working fine.
We are on EP7.0 in our organisation. Previously I was able to access the portal server, but after installing localhost I am havin problem accessing the EP7.0 server from my PC. Wherein I am able to access the same EP7.0 server from others' PC.Nobody is able to access EP7 server from my PC.
Plz suggest some solution.

In IE 11 version its not entering to the SharePoint site after successful login

I have problem with in IE 11. My SharePoint have Windows authentication and Forms authentication modes.
When I opened my SharePoint site its keep asking me to choose Windows Authentication Mode or Forms Authentication Mode. Once I select Windows authentication mode then it ask me credentials. Once I enter credentials then the IE again keep the same screen
to choose windows authentication mode or forms authentication mode.My sharepoint site is working fine.
I tested with Chrome & Mozilla. SharePoint site is login okay. but the problem is only with IE

Did this happen to all machines with IE11 browser? to all users?
If it is only happening to the IE11 for all users (not Chrome and Firefox browser), you can check if the IE "Compatibility mode" could resolve this issue.
If it is only happening to you, please reset the IE browser to default settings, then check results again.

Enterprise manager will not populate after successful login

Hi Guys
I have done a clean install on 11.1.1.6 and all I can get BIP, OBIEE Home and Weblogic fine. When I log onto Enterprise manager under http://host:port/em , I get to the log in screen and log in successfully but then I am not able to populate EM. I have tried changing the Browser to no avail.

BTW - does this process (emca .... drop) bring down the database or does it require that the database be in another state besides 'open'. I ask this because I see from the logs that the process is 'queiscing' the database so I was wondering if all user sessions had to be terminated. Invalid url after entering invalid credentials

when I give wrong password the autentication fails and stays on my login page(I expect this), but the url is geting suffixed by the global notification..

This is standard APEX behaviour. Messages are handed to the page by adding it as parameter in the URL.
After a successfull login you won't see the message anymore.

what's the value of including the URL of the page that you can't access?
So I could edit out the broken branding in the Address bar of a tab long after it was put there. That way if I miss the clue in the tab label that my launch didn't work I don't need to retrace my steps to try to figure out why it was there.
I was going to give you a more detailed example using a different thread and then thought I could do it with exactly this message. In addition I thought I would find out if there were any problems caused by branding when posting.

Web Auth Type: Customized(downloaded) Redirect URL after login not working.

         5508WLC as anchor controller with WLC1 and WLC2 with WCS. I have 2 public ssids set up to go directly to the internet.
Everything is working as it should. I downloaded the web auth bundle from Cisco and will just use a disclaimer page and then if the user clicks on the accept button they will be redirected to our company web page, and then they can get out to the internet.
I have edited the aup.html and login.html to say what I want it to. I have 2 different login.html pages and bundle to a .tar file like the documentation says. I download it via tftp to the controller and it is successful. The disclaimer page opens up when I connect and it looks as it should. The problem is I cannot seem to get the accept button to work. It redirects to a web page but it is undefined.
   I must be missing some setting somewhere, but I just can not seem to find it. Is there any line I need to edit in the login.html files that will redirect the page.    The config on the Web Login Page Redirect URL after login is http://www.mccg.org which is our home page.
Any help will be appreciated. I cannot seem to fine very good documentation, or I am just overlooking something.

Redirect from client provision to origin url

Does anyone know if there is a way to redirect a user to home page from client provision portal?
we using wired solution.
the client PC have web browser automatically opens to home page when employees log in. and since we have posture configured to check the antivirus, the web browser be redirected to client provision portal. we would like to have the user redirected to the corporate home page after successfully NAC agent check.

We finally used our custom login module to solve this.
