ISE - Bulk change endpoint profiles?

Anyone know how to actually do this? I've got about 300 devices that I want to change the endpoint profile on, and I'd like to do it in bulk as opposed to clicking on each one. When I check more than one, my "Edit" option is gone.
I suppose I could export them, change the profile, delete all, then re-import the .csv... but that seems a little tedious if there's a way to do it in the GUI.

Thanks... I wasn't aware it just updated the profile and didn't require a delete. That's good news.

Cisco ISE windows workstation endpoint profiling

Hi all,
i am configuring cisco ISE to autenticate wireless clients using 802.1x . AP's are all lightweight managed by a cisco 5508 WLC . I would like to discriminate users accessing that wlan using mobile phones or tablet from users connecting using windows workstations. ISE profiles all mobile devices in the right way, iphones and ipad are profiled as apple devices and even MAC OSX devices are profiled correctly. The problem is that all windows workstation are profiled as unknown devices.In ISE i'm using windows workstation default profile configuration.
what can i check to make windows workstation profile working correctly?

i noticed that default profile for microsoft workstations uses dhcp probe to profile devices, so i solved the issue adding in our core switch, to the vlan interface used to tag dot1x wireless lan, ise ip address as ip helper-address. I don't know if that is the best solution or there's something i can do on WLC to avoid adding ip helper-address on vlan interface but this worked for me.

Skype crashes upon call and when i try to change my profile settings

Recently (Or not, it's been like a month) I've been having issues with Skype 7.0 or any versions more recent than that. Every time I host or join a call and every time I try to change my profile picture my Skype goes "Not responding" and seconds later my PC freezes. But legit FREEZES: I can't go to start menu, I can't open windows taskmanager, I can't alt + tab, nothing. I have to hard restart my pc. I've tried downgrading to 6.14 and that works perfectly. Until I turn off my pc and start it up again because for some weird reason, whenever I start my PC and Skype opens up it's back to 7.0 or 7.3 or 7.4, even with automatic updates turned off. I've updated all my drivers, started my PC with nothing plugged in but the power cord and it's still doing the thing. I've been uninstalling Skype and reinstalling 6.14 every day for weeks now, I'm sick of it. I need help. (I've included my DxDiag since I see a lot of support staff ask for it)

Perhaps information on the issue will be available in the System Information tool (msinfo32). Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type msinfo32.exe and press the OK button. User Profile Incremental Sync does not views changes in profiles. I make full sync - all ok. then I change the phone number for example, and then start incremental sync and nothing moves to AD.
All the stages of FIM sync just state 0 records to process. Looks like it does not see the changes
1.profile property is set up to sync with AD attribute (with EXPORT).
2.no errors in Windows logs or FIM UI client, nor in sharepoint UI
3. sharepoint server 2010 SP1, "CU June 2012" 14.0.6123.5002
4. I have just reprovisioned sync service, set up AD connections and property-attribute relations. before

According to your description, the issue can be caused by the Profile or Profile Values table.
You can check the event log and ULS log to see detail error message.
To check event log, click the Start button and type “Event Viewer” in the Search box.
For SharePoint 2013, by default, ULS log is at
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\LOGS

I have program ,where if the profiles 'printer and nunber of copies ' are set at the user level, by default when the report completes the O/p will be sent to the printer mentioned in the set-up. but what user wants is
if these Profiles are set for the user running this program automatic printing should not be done.

I've never been able to share FaceBook posts nor seen the option using the iOS FaceBook app regardless the FaceBook app and iOS version. I can Like and I can Comment, and if I select a link or video to view under iOS 6, I can use the Share option for the link or video, but not for a post.

How to do (if possible) a bulk change of formats

Is there a way I can create a bulk change of formats? That is to say, I have six pages multiple frames of text (and graphics) with all kinds of different fonts, points, colors, effects etc.
I want to (as easily as possible) conduct a mass change where everything will be reformatted to (for example), Times new roman 12 point.
I would imagine I could create a paragraph style sheet and then go touch all the text boxes one at a time, but I was hoping for one click (ha ha ) and it is done.
Am I smoking funny stuff, or do I have to do it the old fashioned way. One text box at a time.

InDesign "remembers" which values to change if you change the Paragraph Style, courtesy of this simple rule: If it is the same number in the text as in the style, it gets changed. Otherwise, it must've been some sort of override, and it's preserved.

Can anyone give me advice on a small-office network choice of components and cnfiguration? I am a relative newbie for larger-scale networking, and am looking to clean up and improve our network. We have a typical "domestic" 4-port wireless broadband router (Netgear) connected to a cable modem and a collection collection of 3 small 5-port hubs (1 D-Link, 1 Netgear, 1 generic own-brand - forget who) and a wireless extender to give us more ports as we ran out several times.
I would prefer to get a single good quality switch/router from one source as we keep getting outages and having to reset the network maybe once per day to gete the machine all to talk to each other, and we also have regular conflicts over bandwidth use where one person's large downloads may effectively prevent others from getting any decent internet access via http/ftp/smtp etc. We have about 6 desktop PCs and a similar number of laptops, and a few gaming consoles that need to be connected, plus occasional visitors who would like access out to the internet (but usually these are people we know and trust).
I am guessing that a 24-port gigabit switch would be a good option, but do we need a separate router or is there a combined 24-port switch/router? What do we do if we want 2 wireless access points? How can we control the priority and/or amount of bandwidth allocated to different types of traffic? What about VPN access or similar that we might want in the (near) future? I can't find any more tutorials or guides about good choices of kit to make this all work well.

you will need a separate router and switch. you may check some vpn routers from linksys if you want vpn connection behind the router. you may try rv08, rv016 or rv042. any gigabit switch will be fine behind the router.

To use one of your previously uploaded photos as your profile photo, place the cursor over the photo you wish to use, and click the small green “#1” box when it appears

HELP! I was fooling around with my profile pic and selected and saved a cropped thumbnail. I hate it, and I haven't been able to figure out how to return my thumbnail to just a mini-version of my full profile pic. I've even re-up-loaded a copy of the original photo, with a different file name, but Tagged automatically crops it to the same thumbnail. I have tried to set mentioned profile as ‘Yes’. But still getting same error.
Also, provided subinventory is present and active in given inventory organization.

How can I make the standby button also change ringer profile?

I do not use a holster but would like the standby mode (pressing mute) to use the holster profile settings. Or if this is not possible is there any way to make it automatically change ringer profiles when placed in standby? I would like to change to vibrate when in standby mode as the phone will be in my pocket.

Standby option is capable of doing so. That wish can be materialized only if you use holster.

Bulk changing all websites from SSL to non-SSL (443 to 80)

While I was cleaning up my Mountain Lion Server, I innocently updated some SSL server certificates.
Shortly afterwards, I found that ALL my HTTP (80) sites didn't work. I went into the Server.app and found that ALL my sites were now using port 443, rather than the port 80 that they were running on.
Since I have over 100 sites, I need to know how to BULK update them back by removing the certificate they were assigned when I updated that specific cert.
How did I update the certificate? I was looking at the Alerts section of the Server.app, that told me that some were expiring. There was a Replace button and that's what I clicked. I was never warned that it would change ALL my sites from having NO certificate to the certification that I replaced.
Any ideas on how to resolve this issue quickly, without having to open up EACH site and change the certification to NONE (and thus changing the port back to 80)?

There's no bulk update via the GUI [1], which leaves shutting off Server.app and mass-editing the Apache data.
For a bulk change of 443 to 80, something like this should get you started.
FWIW, Do also confirm whether the port 80 sites are still around in the configuration data, as some web browsers are now selecting 443 whenever that's available.
[1] Yes, I'm probably ignoring scripting via AppleScript here. If I have to script something, it'll be the Apache data and not the GUI, and using bash, Python or other such and likely not AppleScript. Local preference.

NAC Profiler 2.18: Endpoint Profiles Missing

This is a licensed Nac Profiler which has no canned Endpoint Profiles included.
I go to Configuration--->Endpoint Profiles---> View/Edit Profile List
The message I see is "No Profiles Found"
Please clue me in on what I am missing.

"Enabling Existing Endpoint Profiles
Cisco NAC Profiler ships with a number of predefined Endpoint Profiles that have been created and tested in field deployments. These Profiles can be re-used as-is if desired, or may be modified as the situation dictates. In addition, they serve as templates for creating new profiles as outlined later in this section, and illustrate how different rule types and varying levels of certainty can be used to accurately Profile devices.
To view the list of Endpoint Profiles that are currently available in the system configuration, navigate to the Configuration tab, and select Endpoint Profiles option from the global navigation menu in the far left hand pane, or select Endpoint Profiles from the leftmost column of the table on the main Configuration page. Select View/Edit Profile List to display the Endpoint Profiles currently saved in the system configuration."

To verify that Cisco NAC Profiler is populating entries properly in the Device Filter list of the CAM, log into the CAM as administrator. Select the Filters button under Device Management in the left-hand navigation bar. The following screen displays in the main pane of the browser, enumerating all the endpoints currently on the CAM Device Filter list.
After configuring the Server module parameters, adding NAC Events, and performing a Synchronization process (full or NAC Event level), the endpoints that are in the Profile(s) matching enabled (and synchronized) NAC events should be populated to the device filter list of the CAM.
