Mi nombre es Carly Gonzalez Lozada, soy estudiante de Ingenería Informática de la Universidad Exerimental del Táchira (Táchira/Venezuela). Estoy desarrollando un Datawarehouse para la universidad para obtener los indicadores institucionales, para ello vamos hacer uso de la herramienta oracle warehouse builder. En la red he encontrado en el siguiente link (página oficial de oracle) unos seminarios de OWB en español y gratuitos que fueron impartidos en junio del presente año 2005:

Sin embargo, he tenido problemas para descargarlos, al parecer los link que hay para descargarlos están rotos, de verdad me gustaría que me ayudaran saber donde puedo obtenerlos o si me los pudieran hacer llegar a través del presente medio, sería de gran ayuda para el desarrollo del proyecto, sin mas que decir, me despido.

Yes, you can manually invoke the data load processes, or use a scheduler to automatically invoke the data load.
2)Is OWB configurable to automatically undertake upload activities on a variety of time scales (potentially annually, monthly, weekly and daily) on different data sets and sub sets?
Yes, we delegate this functionality to an external scheduler, such as Oracle Enterprise Manager, database DBMS_JOB, or any third party scheduler.
3)The extract tool must be able to co-ordinate the uploading of drafts prior to final submission, and manage the integrity of the final submission.
The integrity of the final submission is part of the design you manually created (i.e. you could make it part of the data structure design, or implement it in ETL processes). When it comes down to uploading drafts prior to final submission, then I would suggest you implement a staging area (or ODS) that is loaded and reviewed before the final load into the data warehouse.

How to uninstall Oracle Ware house Builder in 11g
Hi,
After doing a default installation of oracle 11g database the warehouse builder got installed too.
But in Universal Installer the installed software page does not show the Oracle WHB.
Can any one tell a method to uninstall it.

1)The extract tool must be able to provide hard copy reports to document how each mapping and extraction process works.
2)The mapping must be able to vary, conditional on the sign of the value or some other defined parameter.
3)The extract tool must be able to deal with and translate data holding different date conventions and currencies in the underlying transactional systems.

Warehouse Builder provides public SQL views that you can use to build any report. Out-of-the-box, the product provides an HTML-based interface to query the audits.

Yes, you can build such data flows (mappings) with Warehouse Builder.
3)The extract tool must be able to deal with and translate data holding different date conventions and currencies in the underlying transactional systems.
You can easily implement this using lookup tables and/or decode in the data flow.

Earlier versions of ware house builder
Can someone please tell me where i can install the earlier versions of OWB from. I am trying to a repository(ver 9.0.2.0.0) and i get API5036 message stating that the versions are not compatible. I am using OWB ver 10.1.0.4.0

ikThere's a program called OWB MDL File Upgrade Utility in the start menu entry of your OWB installation. Though I've never used that utility I guess you can use it to upgrade MDL files which you can create using the OWB client of the earlier version.

Fail to Deploy the applicaiton WAR file build by Spring2.5 framework
The War File build by Spring2.5 Framework can deploy and run successfully on Local WebLogic (10.3.6)
but this WAR file can not deploy on Java Cloud Service ;
I tried to deploy it on the Java Cloud Services Control pages and with OEPE (the Eclipse IDE whichi download from Oracle Cloud Official ) ,but these two were all failed !
the error logs as below ,and their no noticeable info in logs , ple help to fix it

1.2.2 Defining Storage Type
Use
A warehouse number is subdivided into a variety of storage types. A storage type is defined by its physical or organizational features (for example, high rack storage area, bulk storage, and goods receipt areas).
A storage type has a short description rather than an address.
Before you can implement Lean WM, you must configure the following settings:
1. Assign a (newly defined) storage location to a warehouse number.(This step is defined by step 3.12 Control Plant / Storage Location / Warehouse Number Assignment
2. You should set up at least three storage types:

1.2.7 Defining Movement Types
Use
The SAP R/3 System uses movement type to process movements in Inventory Management (for example, goods receipt for a purchase order or goods issue to a cost center). When the system recognizes a movement as being relevant for Warehouse Management, it assigns this movement to a WM movement type by means of a table.
The movement type for the Warehouse Management System provides the information required for stock removals or picking:

Print control defines the following:

1.4.1 Maintaining Number Range Intervals for Transfer Order
Use
Maintain number range intervals for transfer order
Procedure
In this step, you define that, the Number range for Transfer order as 01 and Group number as 01, now you should tell the system how the number range would like for 01 as transfer order and 01 for the group number, for both number range, you may define you own number range, the following information just for reference:
Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:
IMG Menu IMG  Logistic Execution  Shipping  Picking  Lean WM  Define control parameters and number ranges for the warehouse number  Maintain number range intervals for transfer orders (double click)

Check if the internal number range 01 (0000000001-1000000000) has been defined
Once you have defined your number ranges, it is extremely difficult to change them afterwards when the objects concerned are filled with data.
Bear in mind that you will be entering data on a long-term basis. Create your number range intervals accordingly.
1.4.2 Maintaining Number Range Intervals for Reference Numbers
Use
Reference number range has the following meanings:
This number identifies a number range to be used for the assignment of sequential numbers for WM reference numbers. Reference numbers are used to create or print a group of transfer orders at one time.
A sequential number generated by the system for the purpose of multiple processing of transfer requirements and delivery notes.
The reference number can also be used to print the resulting transfer orders at a later time.

i getting error like exception: Operation time out error.
but default page of rwms working fine http://servername:7777/

Order Data Ware House SD report?
Hi all kindly give a solution for this scenario
If there are no quantity on the request, it will not show a u201C0u201D order quantity there u2013 it will show the first promise quantity by its side and show the promised quantity there. Please change your query as per that and do not put the schedule lines as it is from order table. There will not be any row with 0 quantities.
Explaining the case which you asked u2013 1 piece requested on 11-Dec and promised on 12-Dec will appear as below
Request Date Promise Date Order Qty
11-Dec 12-Dec 1
Once invoicing happens, invoice quantity will drive the query.
Just take an example - 3 pieces requested on 11-Dec, all the 3 promised on 12-Dec, only one was invoiced on 12-Dec. As on 12-DEC, it will appear as below:-

11-Dec 12-Dec ABC 12-Dec 1

If the rest of the 2 were billed on 15th Dec, it will appear as below on 15th Dec

Thanks in advanceThere are several options. When you post a Goods Movement, you can use LB12 -display Transfer Requirement for material document or LB11 Display TR for material.
Depending on how your system is set up you may have gotten a Transfer Order automcatically. In this case you can look at LT24 - Transfer Order for material. -

I Build so many forms in ORACLE 10g form builder.
Now I want to create a Menu form then i want to run it in Internet Explorer at my own PC at which i have build these forms.
I also want to run seprate forms in internet explorer; as I can run form in Form builder but can't run then in Internet Explorer manually.
