Isight not working, i tried everything

OK, so I've been through all the discussion threads on this and tried everything. My camera did work when I first got my computer (about 2 months ago), now it doesn't. applications say 'no camera attached'. I have taken out the battery, zapped the PRAM, and done a SMC reset. None of that has worked, I still have no isight. what's next?

I've seen this before working at compusa on an imac. In that case all they had to do was open the back of the computer and reattach the camera cause some wires came undone. This is definitely something apple will be able to take care of, by either repairing or giving you a new one which ever option they see fit. Just keep in mind the down time might be a little longer then you might think. Hop all works out

I want to clarify the issue.
The issue is with the MBP trackpad, and it works fine with an attached USB mouse.
With some ingenuity, you might be able to fix this yourself, but I suggest visiting your local Apple Store/Genius Bar. Some have fixed this issue and have posted their results online, but the Apple Store should be your first destination.

Curve 9360 custom sound alerts for messages will not work. Tried EVERYTHING.

I have a brand spanking new BlackBerry Curve 9360 that just arrived yesterday. It is great apart from this very frustrating small prob. I can not customise my message alerts for individual people in my address book. When I click on "try it" only the LED button flashes and there is no sound or vibration. I am trying to get the sound and vibrate to play as "active profile" but it just won't. I can override it and have custom volume and vibrate that plays no matter what the profile but as I sometimes like to set my main profile to vibrate or silent, it won't do.
So far, to fix it, I have tried:
Wiping profile and sounds from the blackberry software
Full factory reset
Creating my own profile and using that instead of "normal" or any of the other preset ones
Loads of battery pulls before and/or after any changes
I have also had a few different people text me to make sure the problem isn't just the "try it" feature. It isn't. The sound that plays is always the default message sound for whatever the default profile is.
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated

I have also experienced exactly the same problem.
The profile is set on normal, with the ringer volume on 10, the ring tone has been selected, and I have also selected the option of the vibrator along with the ring tone.
Now here is the problem, initially it rings and works perfectly, however it seems to automatically turn off the volume so the LED light keeps flashing, however there is not ring tone or vibration.
If you select the "normal" profile or any other profile and change the ring tone or the volume, and click on the try it icon at the bottom, it still only flashes the LED, with no sound.
Have tried everything that you have mentioned in your email, however still unable to rectify the issue. the only way to rectify is it to hard stop the BB, by pulling out the battery and restarting the Blackberry.
Can anyone help or suggest what needs to be done ?

WLan connected, iPad and iPhone internet ok, iMac not working after trying everything (manual ip etc...)

I am quite new with a mac computer. But i think i nearly tried everything, i have no idea what else could help...
My iPhone and iPad are working perfektly in the wlan. My iMac works very rarely. Yes it worked once by manual ip, but later it did not work again.
Wlan always works (sometmes it takes a few seconds until thesymbol is fat, mostly it starts with "no internet")
I tried so many things...
- manual ip found out by my windows pc
- $ in front of the password
- the apple faqs on the websites
Very strange, but i hope someone solved an comparable problem already ;)

HP laserjet 8100 not working - I tried everything! HELP!!!!

HELP!!!
I updated to OS 10.6.3 and my HP laserjet 8100 does not even show up anymore.
I tried
1. add new printer
2. click IP tab, choose HP Jetdirect - socket
3. entered printer's IP address
4. Print suing: automatically went to generic post script printer, so I looked for the laserjet 8100 driver instead and click ADD
5."Connecting to printer" goes on forever....
6. I clicked configuration and then continue and it added the printer on the list (Hooray!, not really)
when I print I choose the one I just set-up and then the queue keeps telling me unable to connect, and it goes on and on.
PLEASE HELP!!!!! I've been at this for hours now to no avail. Seems like the others after doing these steps are getting a result, whats wrong with mine?

Pen pressure not working. Tried everything.

Tried techniques in both Adobe and Corel.
Any suggestions on how to get the pen pressure to work would be greatly appreciated!

Notably Wacom has *just* released a new driver for their tablets to correct pen pressure issues, and at least one person has reported that it has corrected pen pressure problems.
I haven't read too carefully here, and I don't know if their driver could help you directly. I just mentioned it because you said you saw Wacom people reporting problems too.

A short while ago, I had a problem with the overlarge size of my site, when viewed using Firefox, and reduced the "font size," etc., to 1.0 via about:config.
However, as I now need to reset the font to its original (Firefox 24.0?) size. Can anyone please tell me what the original font size was BEFORE I reduced it?

If you don't have the warranty info that came with your Mac, ask your retailer. He should be able to explain the warranty from Apple and any supplemental warranty coverage you may have bought when you got your Mac.

My recommendation is to restart the iPhone. All you do is hold down the top button and hold down the home button for 5 seconds untill it automatically shuts down. Then click the top button untill you see a grey apple on your screen.

3 hours of phone support with Webex - no luck.
Tried SMC and PRAM reset - no luck.
Tried erasing disk and reinstalling OSX 10.8.4 and apps manually with latest versions - no luck.
Apple phone support says it's not Apple's problem because Apple apps work.
Exchanged at Apple Store for another new MacBook Air, again installed apps manually with latest version (not from time machine) - STILL NO LUCK!!!
Is there an update Apple or Cisco, Citrix and Microsoft need to put out for the new MBAs or do I just have 2 lemons???

If not, some netbook or other Windows® device might offer compatibility at a much lower cost than a compatible Apple notebook.

I too have tried the latest iTunes (12.1.1.4) in Win7. I did a search for latent drivers as you noted but found none. I am glad it worked for you - I'm still no-joy at this point. I'm able to install AMDS over and over again, without issue - it just doesn't start then iTunes launch fails with Error 7. I have to manually remove it.
I am able to connect my iPhone via USB cable and access my photo storage on the phone. I am just not able to install iTunes anymore. I have attempted resolution to this issue for almost two months now. Until that time, I was content with what was installed. It was only when the proverbial update box appeared that I attempted to 'update' my iTunes. WHAT A MISTAKE putting blind faith into an Apple request to update. I SUGGEST NOT TO UPDATE YOUR ITUNES IF IT IS RUNNING PROPERLY!
I realize now, once again I might add, my reliance on software provided by others. It's like anything else, I shouldn't rely on just one method for anything. Time to search for a more pleasant alternative than Apple. I appreciate the info and realize that the Nook App is not related to my Apple account but this too has stopped working. My situation first started with the Nook App not down loading and then has now spread to my IBook and new app downloads. I have checked into my ITunes account and the ID and password are correct and at times when I am asked to submit my Apple password such as setting up this Apple Support Community the ID and password work. My problem seems to be just with trying to use my ID and password when wanting to download new books or apps. I can go into the IBook, Nook, and App stores and seemingly download an item but when clicking on the new book or app nothing happens and I get a message that states it can not get into the ITunes store and it wants me to either try again or cancel. This message appears usually ten minutes after I have tried to make a purchase. At other times when I attempt to download a book or app I lose the screen and the IPad goes into the opening screen. Short of redoing my Apple account or deleting an app and attempting to reload the app (but this won't work because the App store won't load new apps) I don't have a clue what to do.

Okay so I did all the troubleshooting techniques and narrowed it down to my iSight not working on my main account.
It works perfectly fine on another account though.
Does anyone know how to fix it on my main account?
I really don't want to have to log into my guest account every time I want to use Photobooth.

Well done! You have used the troubleshooting tips to prove that your normal (old) user account is damaged.

Because there are many thousands of files in any OS X system, I have never successfully "repaired" a user account. It is faster, easier, and more reliable to merely change to a new account that works properly. Here is how I do it.
First, if you do not already have one, make a current backup of your important files. If you need help, see: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1553
Next, decide whether you want to use one of the existing test user accounts that you already know works. Renaming account names can cause serious problems, so if you want a different name for your new everyday user account, it is best to create account with the name you like. Test the new account, too, to be sure it is working properly before proceeding.
Now, copy needed data from your backup into your new user account that works. Begin using this new account as your every-day "main" login account. Do not move or delete anything from the old (damaged) account at this time.
If you must add any third-party items to your new account, add only one at a time. Test thoroughly before adding another third-party item. This technique will help you quickly identify any particular item that might have been the cause of a conflict in your old account.
Use your new account long enough so you can be certain that everything you do with your Mac is working properly in the new account. Depending on how you use your Mac, this can take weeks or even months.
When you are certain that all is well with the new account that is now your normal account, you can throw away your damaged (old) original user account folder to reclaim its disk space.
