ISight, other person CAN listen but CAN'T see me on Video-Conference online

My iSight is recognized by Skype, iChat, etc..
But not by Wengomeeting Video-Conference (free chatting online with NO applications and NO downloads).
The other person can hear me but can NOT see me.
The other person is using a PC.
Can anyone help??

As discussed in Email, wengomeeting and MeBeam this is a Web based Site that uses Flash.
This means somewhere there is a setting (or in the case of Mebeam an Automatic pop up) of the Control for allowing your camera to be used by the Web browser.
Part of this is setting it to the spec for your camera

There might be something in the headphone jack, maybe lint, dirt, or something else in there. Try disconnecting the headphones and then adjusting the volume, does it say headphones?
If that doesn't do it, try resetting or restoring the iPhone.

WHAT'S WRONG? WHAT SHALL I DO NOW?

I have found with AppleTV that it is the IPV6 on the computer you want to access is the problem. The issue is that Homegroup on Win 7 or Win 8 requires IPV6 to work, but AppleTV won't work with IPV6. (So maybe double check you have IPV6 turned off)
So you have to make a choice - Homegroup or AppleTV.... but you can't have both, until Apple brings ATV up to date. (crazy that it does not recognise IPV6 - c'mon Apple!)
You can set up sharing individually in Win 7 or 8 and have the ATV access files that way.
Having said that, there is always the exception.. I have an old HP home server running Win8 and it services ATV - but is part of the Homegroup... have no idea why it works on both, but no other machine on the home network will talk to both ATV and Homegroup at the same time!

reset the ipad by holding the home button and sleep/wake button together until the ipad turns off. Ignore the slide to power off message if it comes up. Then hold the sleep/wake button for a few seconds to turn it back on. You should get the apple logo then.

IChat Problem: I can hear but can not see my friend

My friend and I were video chatting on iChat yesterday with NO problems at all. Today we tried to video chat and I don't get an image of her. I can hear her, but all I see is a video of myself! I have read online that Perian 1.1.3 causes this problem and that I should uninstall it, but I do not have Perian. Any suggestions?
And her image of me is fine. She can see and hear me but I can only hear her.
So far I have shut off my computer and turned it back on - didn't work.
Installed Perian then Uninstalled Perian - didn't work.
Deleted QuickTime plug-ins - didn't work.
ANY SUGGESTEIONS WELCOME!

When you have a Video Chat can you Open the Connection Doctor in iChat from the Video Menu
Does this Indicate any Video is being sent to you ?
What is the Bit Rate from your Buddy ?
What is the frame rate from the Buddy ?
In your iChat > Preferences > Video Section what is the Bandwidth Limit set to ?

I can receive but can't send e-mail, my phone keeps asking me to set up a password for outgoing mail but I have done that and still nothing happens.

Have you downloaded the approriate Snow Leopard drivers for that printer? Make sure you get the appropriate and latest MP Navigator, as you start scans from the computer, not the all-in-one. Yes, they do play in iTunes. (And just in case you don't know, I am on my home computer where I originally set up my iPod.) Try this:
1. Reset the iPhone by pressing and holding the sleep/wake and home buttons and releasing them, when the Apple logo appears on the display. Now test again.
2. If the issue persists: Restore the iPhone without any of your own content, using this description from Apple: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

Palm Desktop - Can download but can't access Palm Desktop for Treo 755p

After 6 months of use, no problem with my Treo. Last week my Palm Desktop won't let me access into it.  Have uninstalled/installed at least 6-7 times each. Desktop downloads onto computer fine but I only see the front "page" if you will.  Keep getting this error ...

Thank you Pat for all your help. Your advice worked. A dash shows the specific folders and keys I located on my computer (for those reading this and have exact same problem, you might have same and/or the other keys). I trust you gave all variable folder and key names. It worked perfectly the first time.
I had not made a backup or rename of my backup folder but as it was still in my Garbage Bin, I restored it after the fact.  The restored Palm Folder files scattered all over my computer. When I tried to reinstall after the Restore, same Microsoft error blocked me again out of Desktop.  Not knowing what files to really delete, but determination and "painfully" did a search by both my Treo username and "Palm", sifted thru every file, sent back to garbage bin, cleaned registry again, reinstalled, and held my breath as computer restarted.
Everything is cleaned out, running smooth and I have my backup folder.
Might I add to the viewers not to save a backup of the backup folder AFTER the fact. Either rename or save a duplicate outside of the Program Folder to avoid hours of needless work. Again thank you so very much for helping me.

hi...i'm fairly new to java and have a problem w/ a database program i have written...i'm running windows xp along w/ access xp...the program i wrote works fine on my computer, however, the program is for my brother and on his computer it only reads from the database but can't write to it...unfortunately i packed the program in a jar file so when u run the program no console comes up to display the exceptions...he is running windows 98 (first edition) and doesn't have any version of access on his computer...i figure his odbc driver is out of date or something like that but i wouldn't know where to start to tackle this problem...any help w/ be very much appreciated...thank you...

Ask him to start the app via the command line/redirect (see [url http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/api/java/lang/System.html#setErr(java.io.PrintStream)]System.setErr() to a file, or use a better logging method than you are now (more info in the catches, use [url http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/api/java/util/logging/package-frame.html]java.util.logging ).

Second, if you've written a Java app that runs fine on XP, then your Java is okay. That's a good start.
I think Windows 98 is the problem. It's rather old technology now. I would say that Windows 9x really isn't an application platform worth thinking about. You might be correct - the ODBC driver might be out of date.
Is the version of Access you're running the same on both machines?

Logic freezes and I can save but can't play audio?

Logic has recently been freezing, it's fine in the sense that I can save but then I cant play audio and I have to force quit? Any suggestions?

yes i'm using a motu 828 (original) No the sample rate is always at 44.1 but even if it switches while the program is open that dose not cause the problem.
there are LOTS of audio files in the project copy among copy
of drums(kick, snare, ext)

Like the title suggests, I can receive emails but can't send them in Mail. I'm living in a university hall now and they have pretty strong firewall which makes me unable to use programmes like LimeWire, and stuff. I'm sure the firewall has something to do with the inability of sending emails. But they say sending emails should be perfectly fine. And since they only know Windows PC matters, I think I should ask you guys first before asking those university Windows PC folks.

Mail Help has some articles devoted to sending problems, e.g. “I can't send email” or “I can't send email because the connection to the server on port 25 timed out”. You may want to take a look at them in case there is something there that applies to you.
Something that usually works if you’re trying to use an outgoing (SMTP) server different from the one provided by your ISP (and in the case of .Mac in particular) is changing the outgoing server port to 587 instead of 25 in Preferences > Accounts > Account Information > Outgoing Server Settings.
