ISight Problem - cant use it anymore while not beeing recognized...

hello,
the well known classical problem. no application can recognize my iSight any longer.
had done the recommendings from apple support site without any success. sometimes the isight works - for example one time in 3 weeks - than again not.
i am angry about the fact that apple dont create some patch or whatever to solve this problem. any other suggestions instead of this:

so i pay a lot of money for this macbook pro and cant use it completely. but yes - it looks sooooooo nice.
great job apple guys, much more bigger job - mr. job. so solve this problem. i am not the only one if you just use google for one time.

Intermittent problems like yours are usually caused by hardware problems. Regardless of whether your MBP is still in warranty or covered by AppleCare, your AASP can fix your MBP.

Try:

TS2570 doesn't work, still the same problem when using Rapidweaver software. NOT with other software.

i tried everything in this article, but still have the same problem when using Rapidweaver software. NOT with other software. I am converting my iWeb site to Rapidweaver, whenever there is a calmer period in my office. I have 16 Gb RAM on my NEW iMac and have Parallels desktop, mail, safari, iWeb and Rapidweaver running simultanious.
I never have the problem if i don't use Rapidweaver, but after i have added several pages to Rapidweaver, the problem begins. my iMac won't start up. the only thing that works is re-installing Macos OS X 10.8. i tried even whiping the completeharddrive, and reinstalling with a complete new user, the same problem.
I had it on my previous iMac also, and bought a new one because i thought the problem was in the iMac first. i hadn't noticed it only happens with using rapidweaver.
i sent my complete rapidweaver project to the programmers from rapidweaver at Realmacsoftware, but they couldnt reproduce my problem, there macs started up without any problem.
i deleted all the rapidweaver addons and extra stacks, and started a complete new project.
saterday i had the problem again, after adding about 5 new pages to my rapidweaver site.
i think i have reinstalled Macos OS X 10.8.2 20 or 30 times by now
does anyone have a sollution?

Downloaded Nokia Belle on my N8 - problem cant use...

I have connected my handset to my PC and started to download Nokia Belle onto my device, the only problem is, is that ive ignored the message "do not touch phone, even when it asks for regional settings and passwords etc" however I have done and the phone has started up whilst it waqs trying to update. Now, when the bar prompt "installation.........." comes across the screen it freezes, and it cannot update anymore. Its about half way through.
Even when Ive disconnected the cable from the phone the prompt is stuck there even when I switch off/on.....I have tried to reset by holding the power button for 8 seconds, and switching back on but the "installation" bar still appears and wont let me use any other function of the phone.
Have I permanently knackered it, or is there a fix to this?

You raise an interesting question as the flashing of update has completed otherwise you would have a "black screen". It is possible that device could be brought to life by carrying out a three key depressed power on reset with device off, however you would probably find that various applications such as Nokia Store would not work afterwards as data deleted from both C:\ and E:\. You may have to reconcile yourself to visiting a Nokia Care Point for device firmware to be re-installed, but the above procedure may at least restore device to be able to make calls in the interim.

Problem in using the itouch while it's charging.

Hi, I've got a problem while using my Itouch4g, when it is charging. While charging and operating the Itouch, the screen wiggles like the icons do when you want to either shift or delete them! Can't chat or play games while the Itouch is charging. Is there a requirement of going to the service centre or not? If yes they repair it or replace the faulty device?

I cant use bootcamp anymore

since i got the problem with bootcamp which when i updated it from itunes and restarted it the resolution became discolored and when i remove the windows partition and about to use bootcamp again i got an error says that i need to update Boot ROM firmware but i got imac10,1 which i cant update its Boot Rom firmware anymore please help me guys thank you

One way to test is to Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, Test for problem in Safe Mode...
PS. Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive
Reboot, test again.
If it only does it in Regular Boot, then it could be some hardware problem like Video card, (Quartz is turned off in Safe Mode), or Airport, or some USB or Firewire device, or 3rd party add-on, Check System Preferences>Accounts>Login Items window to see if it or something relevant is listed.
Check the System Preferences>Other Row, for 3rd party Pref Panes.
Also look in these if they exist, some are invisible...

ISight Camera in use by Another Application - Not Working

Whenever I try to open photo booth on my macbook I get a message telling me that the camera is in use by another application.
I have searched and cannot find any other applications.
I uninstalled HP Printer (recently installed) but that never solved it.
Any ideas?

There is a post in there that solved my problem it said to do a safe boot first log in and then restart into and boot normally. After I did this the problem went away, here is a link on how to do a safe boot.

Mountain Lion Redeem problem - Cant use redeem code after recovery

I have a macbookpro mid 2012 md 101, i got the redeem code for mountain lion on purchase of my macbookpro last year. yesterday i tried to reinstall mountain lion from recovery. howvever, it failed i don't know why. and it went on the internet download and instead of downloading Mountain Lion again it downloaded and install Lion.
i tried to use my redeem code which i got last year but it seems not working anymore.
Please help me out - how do i get back my mountain lion.

Smtp and port problems--cant use email

Oct 19 was the last email received through Mac mail. Using Earthlink.net for email. Contacted Earthlink several times, as there was a problem with "Cannot send message using the server smtpauth.earthlink.net" There was a problem with port 25, so i switched to port 587. There is still a problem, and Earthlink now says that it is an Apple problem, not an Earthlink problem
I upgraded to Tiger early summer, and have had no problems, until Oct 19, when it just stopped.
I am very frustrated and want to use MacMail instead of Earthlink's WebMail. I need to know how to fix it,

Can you use the data while NOT on the EDGE network?

I am wondering if when I travel through SD and ND I will be able to use my data (email, web, maps...etc.) I am in Minneapolis on the EDGE network, but I'm concerned that in Sioux Falls, SD no a GPRS network I won't be able to use 1/2 the functions on my phone.
Before release the rumor was that it would work, but has anyone actually tried it yet?

So essentially you're asking... if there's no Wi-Fi or EDGE coverage will you be able to use the data network features of the phone?
In short... from my experience the answer appears to be "no, it won't work." Allow me to elaborate:
I disabled Wi-Fi access and found an EDGE dead spot where the phone could not connect to the EDGE data network but I could place a phone call. When I attempted to launch Mail and sync, I got a message saying that my IMAP server could not be reached. When attempted to launch a website, I received an error message stating that the server could not be reached.
End result, I was unable to use any of the data network features of the phone. So it would appear... that the answer is no. It will not use the basic GPRS undearlining network. However it's quite possible that your results may vary.
