ISight technical specifications

I would like to use my iSight to develop some computer vision/image processing algorithms. I'm interested in the iSight technical spcifications, particularly in infra-red (>750nm).
Has anyone ever seen the specifications on the iSight?

Not particularly helpful. Take for example the G5 Specs. On page 28 it details the audio specifications to a level audio engineers would be interested in knowing.
Pretend I'm an optical engineer (I'm not, but I play one on TV). Where can I find that kind of info for the iSight's CCD? Additionally, what about power output of the IR range finder? What are the f-numbers for the iSight? All are interesting parameters, none of which I can see.

I have destroyed the motherboard of a Mid 2009 MacBook Pro. How do I find out the technical specifications so I can give accurate information to someone who buys it for parts?

I recently had an unfortunate incident with a glass of water and a mid 2009-MacBook Pro. 13 inch screen.
According to the techs at the genius bar, the screen, keyboard, chassis and hard drive (160g) were still all good - as were all components other than the Motherboard.
I just completed the complete erasure of the hard drive, but don't have the technical specifications at my disposal.
Does anyone know how I can get them - the guy at apple said he didn't think he could help?

Using sample XML file from technical specifications, need a little help

I copied and pasted the item text from the sample in the Apple technical specification. But there are a couple of places where I'm not clear what to change. I have a .M4V video file that I'm trying to podcast.
Where it says "length" I don't know what it's looking for, I already entered a "duration" just below. Also, what would be the correct term for "type" for a .M4V video file?
Then, there is the "guid" number and the actual file name as it is at the website. Can I make up any guid number, or does there have to be something at the site also called this, like the video file, which already has a name....confused.

I searched in SDN an Service market but could not find any. I only found a naming convention document. Can any one who has been developing suggest what should be the table of contents

Why did Apple remove the search engine for serial numbers for technical specifications?

I use to be able to look at the specs of all my apple devices by looking up the technical specifications by serial number. It appears this function has been removed from the website. I would like to add that this feature of the website was incredibly useful and removing it creates alot of confustion for me because I would like to upgrade my MacBook Pro but am unable to find the technical specifications.

Append the last three characters of the serial number to http://www.everymac.com/ultimate-mac-lookup/?search_keywords= and load the page.

Technical Specification for Enterprise Portal

Our EP consultant left without delivering Technical Specification. Now, we need to prepare this document mainly for handover to support team. Coming from BW background, I have little knowledge on what is expected in the document.
What I can think of at the moment are that we need to document the followings:
1. Portal Content structure
2. iViews Configuration
3. Portal Display
Is there anything else missing? Or can someone share with me the structure of a complete Enterprise Portal Technical Specification?

That's a rather unfortunate situation that you have walked into where the implementer has left without documentation.
I would start the document with a blueprint diagram of the platform landscape, with each of the logical instances purposes described. You should include the OS and DB versions and any specifics on security zoning you may have. Then move into a diagram for transport flows and description of the purpose of the Portal. i.e. used for BI and ESS/MSS scenarios.
Also I would describe the integration with the solution, how security is provided, what other components are integrated (i.e. document repositories), how transports are performed (CTS, NWDI etc) and what systems are connected and SLD connectivity. Also mention UWL and Adobe services if they are deployed and anything else that represents significant usage.
After this point you can dig deeper into the detail and provide a description of the details of the business packages with versions you have deployed to the portal (use the NWA to look up package versions if you donu2019t know this already) along with the name spaces and PCD hierarchy that has been chosen to ensure standards are followed during maintenance by the support team.
Remember your support staff should be starting with at a minimum a basic understanding of standard SAP Portal implementations so getting to the detail of how each iView is configured would be taking the document too far.
Your purpose of the document is in providing the framework for support to be able to know what standards they should follow and how to quickly find out the implementation specific details. This should be your objective.
Starting this from scratch without any portal experience is not advisable, I would suggest you engage another Portal consultant to perform the task as familiarity with the core solution is really a must.

As per my experience,better to go for above 160GB hard drive(250GB will be
good) and 2 GB RAM is required for Laptop's.

Queries about ASAP, OOAD, technical specification

Hi Experts,
1. Difference between ASAP and OOAD methodologies? With respect to SAP XI project, which methodology could be applied to get good results? Please explain about each, if we can apply both methodologies to XI projects. In real time which methodology is advised to follow.
2. In real time XI project, what sort of quality check/s can be performed on the developed interfaces? It would be great, if any checklist is provided.. before proceeding from Development to QA box.
3. Please clarify about the Technical specification, Functional specification..

Industry standard to represent technical specification of forms,conf objetc

I am in a process of creating design document for a Sun IdM project. I was wondering, is there any way to represent Form, taskdefinition etc in the document as we represent in JAVA, sth like Class diagram.
Is there any industry standard to represent technical specification for these things.

No as you have phrased the question. WebEx provides this functionality and that is the route you should be taking if this is a feature requirement.
If you are opposed to WebEx or require an on-premise solution, you may want to evaluate Cisco Unified Video Conferencing Manger (CUVC Manager) and it's desktop solution.
