ISkin Revo for Touch?

Hey
I really like the iSkin Revo but I can only find it for the iPhone... Does anyone know if it is on the market for the Touch or if it is going to be?

  • ISkin Revo case for iPhone Unboxing & FI

The following is my un-boxing & first impressions review of the iSkin revo for iPhone. I just got mine in the mail today, pulled out my camera and started shooting. A complete gallery of my unboxing and review pictures is available here:

    ==============
    1. iSkin ships their items through UPS. Because I live near Niagara Falls, NY, the standard shipping took only 3 days!
    2. They could have used a smaller box for the product.
    3. The revo does look a lot like what's shown online. Smooth colors; soft, yet firm material, and the edges have fine ridges that enhance the iPhone's grip in your hand.
    4. I had to work the iPhone into the skin by inserting the bottom half and then pulling the top half over the phone. Cleaning the iPhone (note: iKlear is the best~!) before fitting is a good idea. It took some work to get it in there, but I feel that this is a good sign of a sturdy, snug case. It basically "hugs" the iPhone very well, with a tiny exception underneath the earpiece. You'll notice it's a tiny bit off, but massaging the case works that out quickly.
    5. Good grip in the hand. I'm even confident that you can do thumb-texting without real risk of dropping the phone.
    6. The holes align perfectly. You see the camera hole is just right.
    7. The iSkin comes with a hard plastic ViSOR. Some will disagree with me on this, but my ViSOR fits in place with a good grip. I was even able to hold the iPhone by the ViSOR and it didn't come off. I would recommend using the ViSOR when in a pocket for a long haul, or on a flight. When not in use, it snaps easily in the back part of the case without adding any extra bulk.
    8. The case adds a little bulk to the phone, but what can you do? It's a case. Bulk is a trade-off for solid protection in the event of a drop. the iSkin delivers that well.
    9. I have the NLU Bodyguardz installed on the phone, so I am not using the privacy screen, and I don't plan to. The screen is clear and there is no effect on the touchscreen system. The Bodyguardz I have cover the entire phone, including the chrome bezel, so if lint and other stuff ever gets into the case, the Bodyguardz will keep it from scratching. Am I OD? Maybe, but again, how much did I pay for this 8GB iPhone? Ahhhh.
    10. The iSkin comes with a dock connector cover, which fits easily into the connector without covering the speaker or mic holes. However, this will probably a piece I might end up misplacing somewhere down the road.
    11. People have complained that the images of the iSkin on their website actually cover up the headphone jack. The jack is covered to protect debris from getting in there, but it conveniently flaps open to reveal the jack itself.
    12. I called my iPhone from my Skype account, and I still felt the vibration of the phone through the case. Good. Both my voice and EDGE coverage were unaffected by the case.
    ==============
Apple suggests in their User's Guide that you look into getting a case for the iPhone. The iSkin Revo was released after the launch date, giving them an advantage to refine a good case. In a world of disappointing rubber iPhone cases, the iSkin can hold its own against scuffs, drops and the elements.

I have had my case for a week and a half now and still love it as much as day one.
I use the visor on my case and though it doesn't fit on tight, it has never come off while in my pocket.
The case attracted lint and dust the first few days but stopped after I washed it with soap and water a few times.
I have also taken the case off the phone twice so far and each time I put it on the phone, it fits just as snug as day one.
Great case, glast I paid the money!
Oh and if you order the nighthawk case, it appears like it's black on the website, but it's actually a very dark brown.

  • Iskin revo and holster

a previous thread about the iskin holster caught my attention because i was looking for a case for my iphone. decided to buy the iskin and the holster.
i have a question tho. would i need to use the "Power Support Crystal Film" that is sold at the apple store to protect the screen for everyday "touching" use or does the iskin come with something similar to it already?

The iSkin Revo comes with a privacy screen protector that blurrs the image when viewed at an angle. I tried it and kind of liked it because it didn't hinder the touch aspect BUT it's a little thicker than the power support crystal film. I ended up taking the privacy screen protector back off and just kept the power support crystal film on. The Revo also comes with the hard plastic screen protector which I didn't care for so I just don't use it.
    Hope this helps.

  • What are the new gestures for touch screens?

According to the help file with the Windows 10 Technical Preview for Enterprise build 9879 the same gestures that work on Windows 8.1 are supposed to work on Windows 10.
I cannot get swiping down from the top of the screen or the bottom of the screen to function in Modern apps. It worked fine on the same computer (Dell Venue 11 Pro Core-i5) in Windows 8.1. The touch screen works for other gestures such as swiping in from
the left or right, selecting, etc.
So to close an app, I can no longer swipe down from the top. I have to tap the X in the upper corner, or bring up the new switcher and  close it from there. It's also difficult to bring up the additional menus in Modern apps. For instance, the Mail
app has menu options to move a message to a folder. I used to be able to swipe up from the bottom to bring up the menu items. Now I have to try to tap the ... in the lower right corner. On a smaller display, this is difficult.
I also noticed that ALL apps run on the desktop now. When launching a Modern app such as the included Mail app or the Facebook app from the store, they run on the desktop in a windowed mode with the taskbar visible. You can maximize them, but they are just
full screen windows on the desktop. They don't run in full screen mode like in Windows 8.
Windows 10 was supposed to add back features from Windows 7 to make it easier to navigate with a keyboard and mouse while retaining the existing Windows 8 functionality for touch screen devices like tablets. The current build is much harder to use on a tablet
    than Windows 8.

The latest update was just bug fixes and improved stability, no new features. That is nearly always the case with series 40 phones like the 6300.
Nokia do not make the changelogs available publicly but often they do appear on unofficial sites. Searching google may provide you with more detailed info that cannot be posted here.

  • Wireless Keyboard for Touch Phones

Why not nokia should introduce wireless mini keyboard for touch phones?
If you like my post or think it was useful then please hit the star button. Thanks :-)

Here's what I've noticed:  I used to use a keyboard with my T5.  The keyboard setup screens on the T5 and Centro look about the same and both have a ON/OFF "button" the user must click on to activate the keyboard software in the Palm.  I suppose the user could always leave the keyboard software ON, but I'm in the habit of turning things off when not in use.  If the Centro user has already paired the keyboard and Centro, and if the user has turned OFF the keyboard software in the Centro, a Bluetooth pairing screen appears when the keyboard software is turned ON for the next use.  This requires the user to search and pair the devices again.  However, if the user does NOT turn the keyboard software off, or if the Centro's power saving shutoff occurs after being idle for a while, the pairing seems to be remembered when turning the Centro back on.  I haven't tested this for "long" periods of being idle or OFF, nor have I tested this after folding up the keyboard.  There doesn't appear to be any ON/OFF button on the keyboard itself, which seems strange.  I don't know if the keyboard just times out when it realizes it's not communicating with another Bluetooth device after a while or what.  I've only used the keyboard briefly so I'll learn more with time.

  • WebDynpro for ABAP applications for Touch Screen Clients?

    Hi folks!
Has anybody in the WD4A community experiences in developing WebDynpro for ABAP applications for touch screen clients?
    Any hint will be welcome.
    Thanx in advance!
    Regards,
    Volker

    Hi,
sorry, but Web Dynpro ABAP does not support touch screen clients. This would mean new Unified Rendering features which are, however, not scheduled.

  • Need really big combobox for touch screen use-

I’m something of a Flash noob trying to convert an old
Director project to Flash/AS3 for touch screen and web deployment.
The project makes extensive use of comboboxes but the default style
is entirely too small for use on a touch screen. I found (and
mostly understand) the following tutorial for setting the font size
and various other text attributes but the UI elements: scroll bar,
thumb slider, scroll arrows, even the text containers don’t
scale with the text content. Do I really need to resize every
graphic component of the UI independently? Is there no way to just
take a combobox as is but make it bigger? Thanks.

  • Transaction IW32 for touch screen

    Good evening,
I need release transaction IW32 for touch-screen(display for work by touch hand).
    I need something as http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/5707/r3touchmn9.jpg
(i have done this in Graph Editor).
Create all features of IW32 in Web Dynpro from NULL is very difficult.
I think, that ITS server and webgui (transaction call from web) can help me.
But how i can edit standard style.css of webgui and can i, for example, create height button? (for example: width=200, height=200).
But maybe standard ABAP can help me?
It is very important for me.
    Please, answer. <b><REMOVED BY MODERATOR></b>

    You wrote
Utilizing the "Save as variant" option from the selection screen itself works out perfectly, but this variant cannot be transported.
But, give the variant a name beginning with "CUS&" and this variant will be transported. Variant beginning with "CUS&" or "SAP&" are so-called "system variant" and are  transported automatically. You can then copy the transaction code and use this new variant in the new transaction.

    Dear Experts,
I Developed Screen-exit For IW51 t.codeTypically the custom fields are displayed in the notification on a separate tab, or at the bottom of the u201CGeneralu201D or u201CMainu201D tab.  These are configuration decisions that could be made in the build phase.
Sets of custom fields need to be added based on the notification type.  The following table provides a list and details of the custom fields required.  The table to be extended is the VIQMEL table (to be verified by developer).
Also to extend header fields on the notification you need to include them in the include CI_QMEL where OPEX M&I has already fields in.
All fields should go on the notification header.  There are no custom fields on the task or activity level.
All fields should be reviewed for consistency with the M&I design, specifically, Thomas Brothers, Atlas Sheet, district code. See Dale Alano.
Please any Body Helped Coding For this, Already i Created Customfields , I design Subscreen also using Enhancement QQMA0001. Using Exit name EXIT_SAPMIWO0_008 USIN SUBSCREEN 0104 PLEASE ANY BODY help me Coding for this IW52

  • PowerPc Imac Itunes 9.1.1 says I need 9.2 for touch screen IPOD compatibility.

PowerPC Imac 5-Itunes 9.1.1 says I need at least Itunes 9.2 for touch Ipod compatibility????

    Yes, you are correct.
You need to upgrade to Mac OS 10.5, which you can get by calling Apple Online store (click on Store at top of this page) and asking for a product specialist. Tell them you have a PowerPC Mac and new iPod touch and need 10.5 to use it.

  • Desinging for touch screen

I have an educational program that I want to re-develop for
touch screens. It has been designed in Director MX.
Do I need a particular extra for the touch screen
    functionality ?
I haven't designed any touch screen projects to date and am
    still looking at the hardware.
If you have any experience of knowledge in this area I would
be very greateful to hear from you.
I am desiging it for disabled children so the kiosk will need
to be quite robust - any hints on kiosks?

Writing an app for a touch screen shouldn't require much
    custom coding,
because the touch screens usually generate standard mouse
    events. Have read
some of the previous post on the topic? I am sure there is
    some good info in
    many of them.

Hire a marketer, perhaps? Put it up on Amazon? Only not here, that would be in direct violation of the term of use.
