Isn't it possible to input from excel to ODS? even with multiprovider?

Dear GURUS,
Our design finished with a little project, for the last step, users have to input some keyfigure values from excel to an ODS.
I checked and realized that using only an ODS as an infoprovider is not possible. so i created a multiprovider that contains only this ODS..
when i arrange everything, and execute the query, i got the following message:
D3RC9G7T0TF1521L3WE4KWQFW is not ready for input. XXXX does not belong to infoproviders
D3RC9G7T0TF1521L3WE4KWQFW is the keyfigure's ID.
So, am i missing sth or is it really not posibble using ODS?????

Converting from excel 2004 to ical with Snow Leopard

tried to import data via iCalMaker but was informed by the software maker that they don t support Snow Leopard. So ... a bit lost.
I have the custom of preparing data in Excel, and would want to import some data into iCal. However I cannot find a good converter from either tab (preferred) or csv to ics. Similarly have no experience with applescripts and other fancy things. Is there somewhere an easy system to convert?

Appears the iCal and Excel "wizards" forgot to supply us with a simple and much need way to import excel events, dates, birthdays, games etc. from excel to iCal..
...even the "wizards" at Ms Office 2011 do not allow an easy import from MS Office 2011 Excel to MS Office 2011 Outlook/Calendar...

I can no longer paste from Excel into Yahoo mail with version 3.6.8.

With earlier version(s) I'm sure I remember being able to do this. Any suggestions? When I paste now nothing happens - the screen remains blank. Can it be fixed?

Not certain, but this can fix myriad Mail problems...
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), it will try to repair your Disk Directory while the spinning radian is happening, so let it go, run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, then move this folder & file to the Desktop.
Move this Folder to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/
Move this file to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/Envelope Index
Reboot.
If that doesn't do it and you can afford to redo all your Rules, try these & reboot...

Note, in 10.5 & up /Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/ may or may not exist.

Is your macbook mid2011 or newer if it is air or early 2011 or newer if it is pro. If not it does not support mirror and you would need a third party app such as www.airparrot.com . If it is a compatable mac then post again and give a little detail of your set up and what the problems are.

Will not boot from CD/DVD drive even with "C" key pressed

I have a G4 with a hard drive that is (apparently) dead. I would like to boot off the CD drive, but that does not work. I press "C", then turn the power on, continue holding down the "C" key, and the hard drive just makes some clicking noises for about 20-30 seconds, then gives up. The computer will not boot at all. Same thing happens when holding down "Option" instead of "C"
Why would the computer not boot off the CD drive?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

How to randomly select data from excel using labview.

A very good day to all. I am actually working on a system that will be selecting integer number from randomly generated set of number. If that wouldnt be possible, I would like the system to be able to select number from the set of numbers which have already been randomly generated from excel. kindly help me with the solution. To make myself clear, supposing I have set of numbers from 1 to 10, I want a labview setup that will be picking these numbers one after the other either with replacement or without from excel or self generated. I know this is possible in matlab but would prefer labview if possible. Thanks

Most, if not all, of the languages I've run across have a rand() function that returns a random number between 0 and 1. Getting some other range is up to the programmer. Usual method is to multiply by the range you need and add an offset to adjust the mean. For instance if you need a random number between 200 and 300 the formula might look like " rand()*100+200 ". If you need an integer, you can use the round function (which will leave it as a float with no decimal pportion) or the conversion (to int). All of this is doable and straightforward in LabVIEW. I am using the same vi which you have suggested and i have selected proper com port and other settings, but i am not getting any data,but if i send "ADC0" and "*IDN?\n" command alternatively then it is giving the data...but if i do that i will get zero and data alternatively.I want to get data without zero in between.. any solutions on why i have to send *IDN?\n?

I am using acrobat 9 pro and when I export from excel our logo appears with a thick black line through it. Any suggestions?

Thanks but I have changed the print quality in Adobe to "high quality" which has fixed the problem.

please help me ... The question has nothing to do with 'getting' data from excel and certainly not with putting it into MySQL.
The stack trace specifically tells you that your connection string is wrong.
It also tells you which connection string is wrong.
Which you can use to determine specifically which one is wrong. And which you did not provide that info to us.

All windows/tabs aren't opening from last session, even with setting checked. What's wrong?

For a while now in Safari, if I have to close out the browser or restart my Mac for some reason, my previous tabs in Safari are not loading when I re-open Safari. I went online this week and did a change in Settings to where it would open up the option again in Safari to allow me to check "Reopen windows from last session", however, even with this selected, it did not re-open my tabs just now. This is such an unnecessary frustration and hassle. Can anyone please help?
Oh, and the "Reopen last closed session" and "Reopen all windows from last session" is grayed out and unelectable if I try to bring them back that way in History.

I noticed though (because I tried to close/re-open Safari several times to make sure it would consistently load my previous pages, that when I close the window but not the program) that I can "restore my previous session" or "last closed session" under the History menu if I merely close the window, but not the app/program although it doesn't automatically reload them; but, if I close the whole Safari app/program, when I re-open Safari it does reload all of my pages. I guess I'm writing that in case it helps someone else, but it can be confusing, and may be where my issue originally started.
Okay, another thing is, when I look in Safari preferences now (after your suggested changes), Safari doesn't give me the option of "Open new windows with previous session". Does that matter, I guess, if my previous pages/session are/is loading? It doesn't seem to make sense that that preference is missing in Safari now, but my pages reload. Just some musings. No rush to reply. I'm new to Mac, but I do like to understand how things work.

I need to upload data from excel to crm(opportunity management) .is it possible using bdoc or not. Please provide the list of methods to upload data from EXCEL and also provide the best method for this scenario .

BDocs are used to transfer data from one SAP system to another like from CRM to ECC or R3.
If u want to upload data from excel to CRM, this can be done with the help of idocs and not bdocs (method 1 - using LSMW).
Take help of a crm technical consultant and define lsmw projects. The project will take care of field mapping and conversion. Once that is done, 4 steps need to be done.
1. Read data
2. Convert data
3. Generate idocs
4. Post idocs
Once the posting of idocs happen error-free, the data will be available in crm system.
Another method will be using transaction SECATT.
Here u can define test scripts and record what all activities are done in a transaction. Then define ur test configs which will contain the excel sheet data and then upload the data.

If not, please let me know the standard directories on application/database server where the XML files attached to Data Definitions are stored.

I have run my TC on a 12V SLA battery.. which would neatly meet that part of the functionality you want. But it is heavy and not really the rugged sort of device I think you want.
But I would look at other media players and other ways of storing movies than iTunes.. if you want to carry the whole lot around with you .. A bunch of SD cards even you could plug into the ipad??

A small cheap PC/Mac laptop with a 1TB hard disk in it.. and 11" or 13" screen.. can often be a much better solution than lugging around multiple items so you can fit Apple devices into your life.
