isnt there a way to install the latest BETA EMU1820m drivers (which are 64 bit) on a 32 bit system safely?
I thought i read it somewhere..

"if somebody like experiments, try this:
download the 1.8beta 64bit package, unzip it, and try to install without the e-mu installer:
start the hardware manager of windows and update the "E-MU E-DSP" drivers (within the audio devices section) in the normal windows way and let windows search the package folder.
on my side windows found drivers and installed it without any problem - now it's version number 5.12.3.1120 - date 2005-04-12
my first experience is:
3 provoked crashes of my sequencer (RENOISE) without the loss of ASIO!!!
i got the PowerFX nearly working in RENOISE. this wasn't possible in all former driver versions (because of no latency compensation)!!!
experienced user should try the 1.8 drivers but - no guarantee if there will be problems after this risky update!!!

....... oh i forgot to say: i'm using the patchmix dsp 1.8 too (the patchmix dsp 1.8 available with the 1.8beta drivers isn't a 64bit version and works with the 1.71 drivers too)

If you don't know the passcode, you'll have to restore your iPad from the computer to which it was last synched to remove the passcode. If you don't have that computer, you'll have to restore the iPad as new, and you will lose all your data.

I was wondering if there is a way to open photoshop cs6 in 32-bit mode on a windows 7 64-bit system, because photoshop won't recognize the pen pressure on my graphics tablet (yiynova msp19u) I read that some users got it to work in 32-bit mode on macs, and all my other programs like zBrush, art rage, sketch book pro recognize the pen pressure on the tablet.

well I am going to assume that the application marked photoshop is the 32-bit application, since the other on is marked 64-bit and I don't see one 32-bit. in any case it still not recognizing pen pressure and i have the newest drivers. The only thing I can think of now is that wacom drivers are interfering with it some how since they don't get along, although I was pretty sure i got rid of all wacom software.
Sigh, it's starting to look like I have to format my computer

HT3986 Is there a way to install my drivers, without the install disc, or a way to get another install disc?

I have a 27 inch, 2011 Mac. Its running Mountain Lion X, and I want to install Windows 7 via boot camp. I understand without the install disc, my mouse and keyboard won't work (or maybe it's just keyboard, as I have a Cyborg mouse). Without the disc - is there a way to get the required drivers, or a way to get another disc?

There is no install disk for Mountain Lion, you download the Windows Support Software using Boot Camp Assistant (as you are creating the partition)
Backup your machine first, then Read This before you start.

Well, I know it is really easy to install te drivers, but i left my Leopard CD at my other house. Is there any way i could download the drivers or something? I bought Leopard, i just don't have the disc with me.

sorry but no luck.
There is no download possibility for the drivers. At least not until the next BootCamp Update.
And with BootCamp 2.0 the drivers are no longer part of the Bootcamp Assistant in OSX.
You need the OSX DVD for the drivers.

We have Retail Stores using POS System for entering orders. While importing orders into R12, we are finding tax difference between POS Orders and R12 Orders. Is there a way to bring POS Tax amount into R12 without re-calculating tax in Oracle?
Because of this, we are facing issues in settlement of fund as well. We have received AUTH for only amount authorized at POS and when we try to settle it in R12, FDCS is failing the settlement record if the Order -> Invoice -> Receipt amount is higher than what has been actually authorized.

Is there ANY way to get access to sync after a system crash and losing the key?

I know that I'm expected to re-set my sync key since I've lost it but isn't there any way to work around this? I had a system melt down shortly after installing sync and never backed up the file I created with the sync key. After re-installing everything I'm expected to lose all my old info? That's crazy.

If you didn't create a back up, then it cannot be retrieved.

i lost my ipod and i did remember setting up something on itunes that said it can search for my ipod? i dont know how to turn it on though....

The only one I found to work well with a ppc running OS 10.4.11 is ; FP_10.1.102.64, ..... YOU MUST first un-install any other versions of FP you have installed, and there is a de-bugger for it as well (for developers ?) that I also downloaded but did not install (??, I can't remember now, reallly old brain cells) as i am an idiot, not a developer. This version works very well on my G4 800 DP, QS machine, and work ok with most video sorces on my G4 400 mhz PCI "yikes" machines, considering slow prossessor speed.
It took a little time to find it @ Adobe site, as I didn't know exactly what I was after, having to read all the details of each version until I was satisfied I got it correct. This should make it easy for you now.

Is there a way to sync two clips with different bit rates?

I have two clips from different camcorders of the same frame rate but slightly different frame rates. When trying to sync the 2 clips, it's nearly impossible because the frames aren't lining up. Is there anything I can do?
Where I'm trying to sync the two clips is kind of between frames.

I only know of miniDV tape Cameras and SD-Video quality - and I use an external program to do this.
JES_Deinterlacer (free on internet) - Mainly I use it to go from PAL (25fps) to NTSC (29.97fps).
It does this so much better that just dropping into TimeLine in FCE/P or switch when going from iMovie/FCE/P to iDVD. They both does a sort of conversion - but the result has to me been very choppy/jumpy and not enjoyable at all.
There are even better conversions - But those are Pro applications and costs are astronomical - and the end result is not that much better at all.

I got a new phone in the mail and i want to get my pictures off of my old one (doesnt turn on at the moment). Also isnt there a way to restore my settings onto the new one? settings that were on my old one?

My girlfriend got a new phone recently as well and she was able to click something on her new phone that allowed all the setting pictures texts and etc to transfer to her new phone, even though her old phone was unaccessible. How do I do that for my phone? It's the same circumstance. I dont back up my phone like she does but I dont think she had done a recent backup before her phone died either. Someone please help!

You transfer the data (including text messages) and settings from your old phone to your new one by backing up your old phone and restoring this backup to your new one (see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2109). This must have been what your girlfriend did.
If you never backed up your old phone and it doesn't work now, it's too late.
