I have enabled VLM as

get an error in alert log
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kwqbgqc: bad state], [1], [1], [], [], [], [], []
begin dbms_aqadm_sys.add_subscriber(queue_name => :1, subscriber => :2, rule => :3, security_check => true, add_jms_entry => true, transformation => :4, properties => :5); end;
Now application and database are up and running but this errors is in alert plase let me know why this error is coming ?
and how to resolve it?

Macbook pro does not boot after enabling Filevault

macbook pro with OS 10.9.2 : after enabling encryption ran in to a problem and did not startup.
did the followings:
- loaded to recovery mode: command-R
- disk utility- verify disk> repair disk
- tried to reinstall OS : did not work
- re-partitioned the hard drive
- tried to install it from bootable Mac os installation : it worked but after running the software update it did not start up again....
- sent the mac to repair store to replace the hard drive with SSD hard : they setup the hard with mac os 10.9.5
- installed all the software update
- enabled the file-vault " this time it finished the encryption but when started up and tried to login with user account it got frozen and did not work and so on ...
- again tried to go to recovery mod and repair the hard and reinstall OS but it did not install the OS
- had to again repartition the hard ...
PS: the macbook loads fine with the OS on External hard disk .
this is really frustrating, can somebody tell me what's wrong with this mac why this issue happens after enabling encryption and why the issue is not gone even after reformatting the partition...

I finally fixed the issue myself
The macbook had a RAM issue: Replaced the RAM and it is fine now.

Accounts getting disabled after enabling password expiration on BOXI R2 SP2

Hi All,
We have a strange issue with our production environment.After enabling password expiration on the enterprise some accounts got disabled,on further investigation I found that these users were either trying to log on to Designer or 2 tier Deski.
I made them login through the Infoview to fix the issue.These users were Universe deginer or report writers.
Any Suggestions

These accounts are Enterprise accounts,according to the users they were not given a chance and they never got any prompt for the password change it was disabled directly at the first login.
These people were trying to logon using the Desginer or 2 Tier DESKI login and they are the members of the Administrtor Group also.
Is it important to logon to infoview or 3 tier DESKI to change your password?
I have no answer to give them why there accounts were disabled.

Getting error after enabling the Transaction in SSIS package in Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard machine

I created a package with "Execute SQL Task and Data Flow Task". I am able to execute successfully in my server having
"Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard" Operating System.
But after enabling the Transaction in my SSIS Package I am not able to execute it. It is giving error. The same package is running in my local machine with Transaction enabled on
Windows 7 Operation System.
The error which I got in my server after enabling the Transaction is
"The SSIS Runtime has failed to enlist the OLE DB connection in a distributed transaction with error 0x8004D025
"The partner transaction manager has disabled its support for remote/network transactions.". End Error "
I search with this error message in google and found some solutions in the following links

Please compare the DTS settings on the Windows 7 computer and the Windows Server 2008 R2 computer and make sure they are identical. Make sure the “Allow Inbound” and “Allow Outbound” options are check, and pay attention to the authentication mode as
well.
Besides, make sure both Distributed Transaction Coordinator (TCP-In) and Distributed Transaction Coordinator (TCP-Out) rules in Firewall are enabled.
If the issue persists and there are any security/anti-virus software, temporarily disable the security/anti-virus software and check the issue again.

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

i guess that database vault blocked the ctxapp role granted to oim database owner, but i am not sure how to fix it. Do i have to create a database realm for oim database user?

MAJOR Wireless, Safari, Dock & Finder issues after latest updates

I'm having major issues after the latest AirPort, Security Fix and Safari updates in 10.5.2: Safari keeps crashing every hour, Wireless connections time out and Airport occasionally crashes when I try to turn it off/on. Sometimes the systems gets stalled and has lag - I'm not sure if Safari crashing is causing this or it's the system that causes Safari to freeze and crash - often the dock becomes unresponsive too and makes me force shutdown and reboot. I've had to reboot like this more than 4 times today, something isn't right. My questions, therefore:
1) Is there a way to restore my Mac to the state BEFORE the latest upgrades?
2) I can't recall the exact names and versions of the updates, is there a way to access the update log files, so that I can take notes on what actually was updated and when?
3) Is there any other way to access log files that may have more information on the crashes that I've had lately?

In this situation, the first thing I would do is log into a different user account (if you do not have one, create one) and then see if the symptoms persist with the new user account. To directly answer your questions:
1) Is there a way to restore my Mac to the state BEFORE the latest upgrades?
Archive and Install using the OS DVD or by using Time Machine if you have it enabled.

Fire up System Preferences, click on the Software Update icon and then select the Installed Updates tab.

Single Sign-On:orasso Status Down After Enabling SSL

The status of Single Sign-On:orasso is listed as down in Enterprise Manager after enabling SSL. The same problem existed in with the Portal component, but this was fixed by adding a certificate to the certdb.txt file and by changing some URLs in the targets.xml file.
Does anyone know how to correct this issue with Enterprise Manager? It has no effect on the behavior of our application, but it is causing problems with administration because some people use the Enterprise Manager console to monintor the state of our environment.

Did U try this the following steps;
When the configuration is finished, take the following steps:
1.
In the Application Server Control Console Confirmation page, click OK. The Application Server Home page appears.
2.
If you did not have an OC4J_SECURITY instance before, you will have one now. The OC4J_SECURITY instance will have a status of Down. You will also have a Single Sign-On:orasso instance with a status of Down. Select the check box next to OC4J_SECURITY and click Start.
Note: You cannot start the Single Sign-On:orasso instance. This feature is started and stopped when you start and stop HTTP_Server and OC4J_SECURITY.
3.
When the operation completes, verify that OC4J_SECURITY has a status of Up.
Note: The Single Sign-On:orasso status may be displayed as Down. This is normal. The status should be updated approximately five minutes after configuration.
4.
Select HTTP_Server and click Restart.
5.
Verify that you can access OracleAS Single Sign-On at the following URL:
http://hostname.domain:port/pls/orasso
In the URL, hostname.domain is the host on which OracleAS Single Sign-On is installed and port is the Infrastructure HTTP Server port.
You can log in as orcladmin with the orcladmin password.

Performance issue after allowed ICMP in traffic rule

Today I am facing new problem in NAC environment. as per the cisco documents, I allowed all mentioned ports, fragments and ICMP to the DCs. but after enable the ICMP desktop pc is hanging on "applying computer settings" stage. If I disable ICMP rule we don't have this issue.

Increase in shutdown time after enabling TRIM

Hi,
I'm using mid 2012 macbook pro 13" & recently replaced the original hard drive with Corsair Neutron GTX 120GB. After replacing the HDD I freshly installed Mountain Lion. The performance benefits were conspicuous just as any one would expect. Faster boot/shutdown times (~12s/~4s), no jumping apps etc.
TRIM support for SSD was not enabled until I used this app called Trim Enabler (http://www.groths.org/trim-enabler/). A subsequent reboot enabled TRIM (as you can see below).
The weird thing I observed after using Trim Enabler is, shutdown now takes around 20+ seconds. I'm not sure if this due to some clearing activity through TRIM commands issued by OS X (considering TRIM was not active initially) or anything else.
NOTE: I don't see any visible performance impact other than the higher shutdown times.

I'm not sure what actually caused the slower shutdowns, but now ther's no issue at all
Possibility 1:
The local copies made by Time Machine to SSD (when backup disk is disconnected)
Possibility 2:
Considering there were few writes to my SSD earlier without TRIM, after enabling TRIM OSX took some time to get the SSD to optimal performance (may be few background copy/erase operations, I don't know for sure)
Now that I've switched to manual time machine backup (turning it ON only when the backup disk connected & turn OFF once done) the reboot time is back to blazing 2-3 seconds.
BTW those who still want to keep backup running automatically & don't want to keep local snapshots on SSD, should disable it using "$sudo tmutil disablelocal" (there's no GUI way of doing this). With SSD there's a good reason to disable local snaps by Time Machine; space, life, performance etc.

Freeze during boot after enabling Hyper-V feature in Windows 8

I'm using AMD FX 8320 with 990FXA-GD65. After enabling hyper-v my pc freezing during boot. Google told me that it might be issue with USB 3.0 controller, so i disabled it in bios, but result still the same.

Please try to boot into WinRE and run the Startup Repair option.
Generally speaking, when you add feature like Hyper-V, system would take a long time to get this feature configured. if your computer still stay updates configuration steps, you can use Windows 8.1 installation image to repair system. In system repair mode,
you can access into Command Prompt mode, and check CBS.log under C:\Windows\logs\CBS.
This log file would record Windows installation process, we may find the problem of Hyper-V installation.

Startup gets stuck at "no" icon after enabling filevault

I have a clean install of 10.7 on a 2010 MBP (reinitialized HD, installed snow leopard, installed Lion).
After enabling File Vault, it asked me to retart my Mac. I did that, logged into the account I provided file vault access to, and now have been stuck for hours at a screen that just shows the "no" icon (circle with a diagonal line through it) with the spinning progress wheel underneath it.
I let it do this overnight and then restarted the Mac this morning, logged in again, and I'm back at the same screen.
I have a full backup and can restore from that if necessary, but my bigger issue is how can I get filevault to successfully work on my Mac.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Update based on some additional troubleshooting:
I've now been able to recreate this three times by following this sequence (I've started to restart more frequently to pinpoint where things go wrong)
Reformat Mac partition (leaving Boot Camp alone)
Install OSX 10.6.3 using the install disc that came with my computer
Run software update until all updates applied (requiring a few restarts)
Install Lion
Restore applications and my local user directory using Migration Assistant and my Time Machine backup
So far so good.
6. Restore "other settings" (I believe it's called that) in Migration Assistant.
This is when the issue first appears. Not sure what setting would cause this issue, but whatever it is, it effectively makes my Mac HD unreadable.
